Daica

We were underwhelmed by the tasting menu at Daica. The venue is beautiful, service fantastic and entire menu adequate to make sure you're not hungry. We liked how unique and aesthetic all the dishes looked (they even go as far to serve each dish on different serving plates/boards across the tables to make it feel exclusively yours), however, each dish lacked flavour. After reading so many positive reviews, we can only imagine that it was a bad night in the kitchen or our palettes were not suited to the subtlety of the flavours that Daica offers. Their take on a strawberry and cream dessert was the only memorable dish for us. In my opinion, value and flavour can be better found elsewhere.

The food was absolutely amazing, we were quite overwhelmed by the 10 course tasting menu and we still cannot figure out the best dish. Next to this the patio is very nice to sit on and enjoy the menu. The staff is very friendly and speaks English.

Totally worth the trip to this otherwise sleepy town! We did not stay overnight. However, we very much enjoyed the food tasting. Awesome service. Will come back.

Had an extremely good meal here last night. Extensive use of local ingredients and an assured touch in the kitchen. The "Fiesta" tasting menu is well-judged in terms of quantity as well as variety and quality, and represents quite remarkable value for money, even given the relatively low cost ingredients (all of good quality, but very understandably no "super-premium" dishes.) Service was composed and friendly, and small details were covered too; for instance our Ribera del Duero was not only priced slightly below UK retail price, but importantly was served lightly but not excessively chilled, just enough to avoid soupiness, which is no mean feat in Mallorca in August. A completely full restaurant on a Tuesday night in a relatively remote rural town - excellent. Would very happily return if the opportunity arises.

Exceptional dinner experience, we took the tasting menu and every dish was delicious. We tried other restaurants in this category in mallorca but this one was the best!
