Blue Fish Hawaii Poke Bowl

My new favorite place in Ames! Great protein and super fresh ingredients, I have took 3 poke bowls a week and never gotten sick ever! The salmon and tuna are amazing. The staff is always nice and accommodating! The place is always clean too. Would highly recommend!

Please do not sleep on this place!! Tried this spot for the first time today and was not let down. Did a build your own regular bowl and they are very generous with the portions of the ingredients. Everything was fresh as well. It was so worth it, I can’t wait to have more.

The food wasn't all that great for 12 dollars. The cucumber was bitter making everything taste bad. They share grabbers amongst food items. I have a mango allergy, but I took the risk anyways. I cannot determine if I had a reaction or not but I can't go there again to wanting to preserve my health. As I cannot guarantee food items weren't scooped by the mango scoop.

I ordered a Regular Bowl with 2 Protein: Salmon & Squid Salad, eel sauce, brown rice, etc. It tastes good!!

Love this place!! My boyfriend and I became regulars and go at least once every 1-2 weeks :) The ingredients always taste fresh and they put in a generous portion of salmon. 100x better than the poke bowl at the MU for sure. The owners are always very nice as well!!
