11/27/23 6:30pm. I ordered a side of steamed Broccoli with my steak. It came out with black mold on the stems. Told the server to show the manager and bring me a good one please. They came back with more of the same. Said to tell the manager again. The manager's response was "its normal". Basically just Gaslit me. What else are they not caring about. Not professional.
Restaurant was basically empty @820 pm on Halloween night but there was a wait of 15 minutes no matter party size, which turned to be more like 20 minutes even though there was tons of room an what appeared to be plenty of staff still working as well. Let's just say the wait wasn't worth it, the food was just typical mediocre Brewery/pub food. The "happy hour" deep dish pizza for 7 bucks was basically raw/undercooked and bland whether the BJs favorite or the sweet pig neither was anything to rave about. The bone in wings with the house Buffalo sauce were decent. The avocado rolls had a description that had me excited to try them, but again were not anything to ever try again basically just a bunch of hot avocado slices in a fried roll up. The mozzarella and tomato salad was actually pretty good. the pumpkin lager or ale either way was ok very light pumpkin notes nothing special. the Philly cheesteak sandwhich was your normal thick cut Philly beef kinda fatty and chewy but the French fries were great The! The service was polite and got us anything we wanted when we were able to catch them, but slow for the most part took a while for my beer and even longer for the gourmet orange cream soda which was meh but the black cherry slapped! Overall nothing worth going out of the way for or to return for seconds, sadly we didn't try any dessert just due to being ready to leave an not wanting to wait another 20 mins or longer so we missed out on their so called famous "Pizzokies" but I'm sure a warm cookie and ice cream on top isn't hard to pull off.
Usually when a restaurant is busy, they are given menu’s to look over. Of course they weren’t and I had to get them myself….
Also, is this what you guys call a slider? And the fact you give the core of lettuce as a topping is concerning…this picture is definitely not what a burger slider should even look like. Like, what is this? It’s messy and the burgers are super thin…barely even toppings on them….
We also didn’t receive our appetizer before our entrees (two different times. we asked the server why we didn’t receive the appetizer and he says “sorry, I put it all in on one ticket.” Anyone who has worked in the service industry, knows that the appetizer should come out first, not at the same time as the entree….I thought maybe the first time was a fluke, but clearly after the second time it’s known that servers don’t know much of anything about being a server. Disappointed in this place, especially when the prices aren’t even worth it. The springs in general has AWFUL service…too bad.
Our server Amber was absolutely AMAZING! The food was delicious and just the way we ordered it. Amber went above and beyond as our server and we will definitely be asking for her next time we go! Best experience we've had out in a long time. THANK YOU AMBER!
The food was pretty good. The atmosphere was active and alive. I enjoyed it with my boyfriend. Our server, however, did not seem very interested in serving us as we watched multiple tables around us be seated and served before we were served our drinks or appetizer. Otherwise not a bad experience. Can't blame the restaurant for one particular server
