BBVA

I'm BBVA's customer since they tool over Caixia Catalunya (2009). I was happy with their online banking approach until I've realized that: If you are digital nomad, travelling a lot in Europe and managing your company remotely I strongly suggest to avoid BBVA. When they detect potentially fraudulent transaction (False Positive) they will block online access to your funds. You won't be able to re-obtain this access while being abroad - regardless if you have prone number registered in BBVA, Cards + PIN + CVV to use "I forgot my password" flow or as a last resort call and speak with Customer Support and "Emergency Support". They simply say that you will have to go back to Spain and use ATM or go to their office (that they are closing). You cannot do this by phone - even if they can authenticate and authorize you as valid owner of the account. It is impossible to access Gestor by calling to the particular BBVA branch office. Even after trying for 3 days and leaving 5 messages asking to contact me.

Incompetent scammers. Refused to replenish the account on illegal grounds. The director of the bank allows himself to shout (raise his voice) at customers.

Worst bank system ever, will not recommend to use their services stay away! Plus customers service is so rude

if you are an international customer forget about this, just get a digital bank as they are still in the 90's. To change simple things they will probably ask you to send a FAX or something

DO NOT OPEN YOUR BANK ACCOUNT WITH THIS USELESS BANK!!!!!!!! Especially if you’re international. They cant speak English and their customer service is poor. Couldn’t help me and I wasted my lunch break to try and solve my issue. Oh yeah and their opening times are ridiculous as well, how can a normal, working person ever go outside of their working hours. I wish I chose another bank.
