Yesterday I went to this office to check if I was still a BBVA client. I have a savings book from 2012, opened in Catalonia, and I had doubts about whether or not it was canceled. I didn't even remember that I had it. nor the reason why I opened it back in the day.
I was impressed by the large surface area of this office, and completely empty of the public. I tried to make an appointment as a customer, but since it seems I wasn't, I made an appointment as a NON-CUSTOMER. I get a paper that says I have to wait, at least MORE THAN FORTY MINUTES. I ignored it and went to a window with the paper in question and at one point they told me that I had not been listed as a client in the last 5 years. By the way: the lady who served me was like the twin sister of Miss Rottenmeier (the one from the television series HEIDI). It is clear that he did not like that I broke the protocol of having to wait MORE THAN FORTY MINUTES, which BBVA had decided that I had to wait.
I attach two photographs of the office, completely empty.
I don't understand that there are people who work with these banks.
Right in front of this BBVA office on Calle La Cámara in Avilés, is LABORAL KUTXA, where they serve you personally, with an appointment, without an appointment, and "half-pensioner" (as those of us who are no longer young said when we were young. ..)
Three quarters of an hour to serve five people between two cashiers, they have spent more time talking to each other than working. On top of that, they sneak in people without a turn in front of those of us who have been waiting for a long time. Then we complained that the banks reduce staff, if they did their job with a little interest, half would be left over.
Absolute shame how they treat us customers. I have been waiting for more than 1 hour to be attended and the rest of the people who are here, the same.
It is always the same, and it is that on top of that they have almost all the empty positions. With the huge amounts that a bank enters, they should support the country by hiring more people and, incidentally, show respect for their clients' time! You live on our money, you should roll out the red carpet for us, not keep us waiting like they won!
Yesterday I witnessed unacceptable behavior on the part of an employee of this branch of the Chamber, in Avilés. It is about a "lady" (to call her somehow) who sits at the first table, to the right of the entrance. I specify who it is, because the rest of the employees are not to blame for the inhuman attitude of this "lady".
The fact is that a woman, who apparently had just lost her son a few days ago, had gone to ask about his accounts, if any payment had to be made, etc. etc., as normal. Well, this lady treated her fatally. But the straw that broke the camel's back was at the end. The poor lady, disconsolate and powerless, wanted to leave but this "lady" employee of HER bank, would not give her the papers she had brought. Every time she went to pick them up, this worker of yours withdrew her arm with the papers in her hand and did not give them to them. So several times. I had entered the ATM and was able to witness everything.
I found it indecent, inhumane, shameful and very improper for a bank like BBVA. I don't understand how they can have people with such behavior on their staff. I am a mother. I don't want to imagine what this woman will be suffering. Hers would be that they had treated her with all the delicacy that the case deserved and not in this savage way. No one has the right to treat anyone like this, much less in such circumstances. It disgusted me and embarrassed me.
I hope they take action with this "lady" or any other who has this same behavior and I also hope I never see her again in this bank or in any other.
Yesterday, July 20, my mother went to one of your bank branches, specifically in Avilés on La Camara street, to inquire about the account and payments of her recently deceased son. She took out a number and when she touched it, she was attended by a lady named Romina (blonde hair, located as you enter the first table on the right hand side), who told her "even if you are authorized, we can't tell you anything until you bring x paper", so my mother replied "ah, you can't tell me anything, but if I stop paying as a guarantee, what if you go against me?" and the lady replied “yes, but that is a different matter”, so my mother said “well, nothing, I won't pay” and the lady replied “we'll see about that, go to court for the woman role”.
Well, my mother, since she wanted to fix things and do everything for good, went to court for the paper, and when she returned to the bank she took out a number again. At the moment it was her turn (again at the same table with Romina) this lady skipped her turn and began to attend to another boy, so my mother said “sorry, if you don't have a number I'll go” and the boy replied “I'm just asking one thing, but answer it first and then I'll ask you, ACT TO WHICH THE LADY RESPONSES: “nono, tell me” and continued to attend to the boy (without a number) ignoring my mother. Well, once the boy finished and my mother hands over the paper, this lady starts shouting “and the family book? I told you to bring me the family book, without it you can't do anything" (information that he did not tell my mother), so my mother replied "do you know what I'm telling you? go all to f*****” and took it, got up and left. But suddenly this lady began to call out to her and say "hey, you're leaving the paper", so my mother turned around, but every time she reached out her hand to take the paper, the lady withdrew it back so my mother wouldn't take it, provoking her. AND FOR 3 TIMES HE DID THE SAME MANEUVER. Thus, the fourth time my mother grabbed and threw something from the table at her and told her "give me the part that is mine", so that the aunt began to yell and pretend to be offended (after her provocations and disrespect in front of the public) and said "I was only calling you to give you the role, woman".
Well, today, July 21, I return with my mother and my brother's wife to the bank to see if we could be treated decently and fix the things that this lady refused to do to us, because despite the beating we have received, we worry about leaving everything ready and well arranged. Well, it turns out that we got a number and it's Romina's turn again, so in this case I get up to tell her "please, we want someone else to serve us, refer us to another table" and the lady, who doesn't know me and neither does my sister-in-law, starts yelling at us and turns her back on us, she skips our turn and tells us "find your life with another table, I'm not going to refer you, if someone takes good care of you", to which I replied "you can't It could be that a worker facing the public is so arrogant, rude and with so much disrespect”, and while I turned around she kept shouting and scolding my family. Once this happened, I went to a table where a girl named Vanessa was, who treated us very kindly and with all the education in the world.
Once the situation has been explained, I hope you will take action, because I assure you that after these two days I am going to make sure that your bank comes out badly in all mobile applications and newspapers in Spain.
