Drybar - Midtown Tulsa

I have worked at dryer Tulsa for a total an entire year now! I was employed last year for about 6 months and came back in march of this year and ever since I have been back I have not had a thought of leaving. the ownership and management of this location just makes everything better and I never feel unheard or disrespected. there has been a lot of opportunity for growth and different titles to help boost moral and confidence with other stylists. everyone pulls their weight of cleaning and keeping this place beautiful for our amazing clients. the clientele we have here is absolutely amazing and supportive! we wouldn't have drybar Tulsa without our awesome clients and the fantastic staff. very proud to say I'm a part of this location.

My hair turned out great. A little more expensive than I was anticipating but you get what you pay for. The stylist wasn’t afraid to ask for a little help to make sure my hair turned out how I wanted. Overall great experience.

The stylists are nice I have no objections against service, however my hair looked nothing like the style I selected. I wouldn’t trust them to get you looking how you want

I had a wonderful experience at Drybar Tulsa the stylist was awesome! The style I choose was The Manhattan and it came out perfect! Had a wonderful time and enjoyed a mimosa.

We came for a girls day before a concert and had a wonderful experience. Jacquavious was my stylist and had me laughing throughout my time. Highly recommend when you are looking for a way to treat yourself!

StretchLab

10/10 Would absolutely recommend to anyone wishing to regain some mobility or limber up the stiff extremities that seem to suddenly turn to stone if you find yourself becoming a relatively sedentary being.   Hannah at the front desk was very helpful with getting me started when I first called with questions and eventually scheduling my regular weekly visits.  I've been going to the Cherry Street location for about four months now with Jeremy as my main flexologist.

I went in because even as a teen my hamstrings have always had the flexibility of a brick wall, and touching my toes with extended knees had become a thing of the past.  My initial assessment found me only being able to bend at the waist about 30 degrees with my legs held straight.  This last visit Jeremy had me closer to a comfortable 90 degree angle than I've been in a very long time. So he's been able to help me regain considerable mobility throughout my lower half as well as relieve stress and pain from the rest of my body including the terrible stress headaches to which I'm prone.

The process is methodical and deliberate but completely painless.  I tend to describe it to others as assisted yoga where the flexologist is entirely in control of moving your muscles into their stretched positions that are most beneficial for you without causing damage or over exertion.  I cannot recommend it enough to anyone wishing to reclaim range of motion in their bodies they've discovered to be waning.

Great first experience. After I bought a 3 month membership for 50 minutes weekly. It really opened up my lower back and released my sciatica tightness. It was hard to find on Google maps. It told me to park behind Pinot's Palette and walk into the nutrition shop instead of parking at the Cherry St Shops. I turned it into Google maps to change that.

First time, I went for a 25 minute stretch,  just to get an idea of how it worked. My flexologist  was Tayler and she was so sweet and helpful.  Came home and told husband to hand over the credit card so I can buy a membership to get 4 per month. Loved it!

Terrible. Do not waste your time and money. Not effective and unfair business practices.

On the not effective side...

I was reevaluated for flexibility after 2 months. Not only did I not improve, I got worse.

However, it does take work outside of going to StrechLab. And you need to go consistently. So, if you're thinking about signing up, do the work. I have no complaints about the flexologists. I worked with 3 - Jessie, Maddie, and Aday - all fantastic.

What I am most disappointed in are the business practices...

When you sign up for a 3 month membership, you are told you would have flexibility to reschedule as long as you give advance notice. What they don't tell you is that you can not apply your credits the following month. Thus, any sessions you cancel (e.g., for Thanksgiving, Christmas) have to be applied in the same month. If you cancel between Christmas and New Year's, you need to reschedule for sessions in December.

It took a lot of hassle to get back at least a portion of those missed sessions. After talking to Sirena, she agreed to let me use some of those sessions in January. However, my 3 month membership ended December 31. In order to use those sessions, I would need to pay another $259 for a January membership.

Nearly $1,000 later, I am no better than the day I signed up. I don't think you would be either.

The staff here are very friendly & knowledgeable about stretching techniques and they do a great job communicating with you about comfort level and stretching positions.

It is a bit expensive, but so is everything else right now

Pure Barre

I absolutely love Pure Barre Edmond. You have to take a class with Lindsey, she is so helpful with form and making me feel like I belong. I have only been attending for 2 months and already I have made great improvements in my strength and flexibility. Everyone from staff to other members are AWESOME! I will never go to a regular gym again, their new class Define covers all that. I do miss Reform (please bring it back 😭.

I have been going here over a year. I remember my first day and not being able to do a core move with lifting my legs table top. Now I can lift my core up with ease. I absolutely love everything about this place. The front staff, the instructors and the actual workouts are all amazing! Empower is my fav, with Align a close second. My favorite part is how every single workout is slightly different and oh so challenging! I have lower back issues, but there are always modifications for everything. They teach you to engage your core all the time. I leave feeling accomplished and sweaty! So thankful for my pure barre studio!

I love this place!!  I started attending classes regularly in November 2021 after a friend asked me to join her for a 5am workout. Now it’s become part of life for me! I enjoy the workouts, the instructors, the women I take classes with and the retail is awesome too! I absolutely love pure barre in Edmond! Kelsey and all of the other instructors greet you by name every time you take a class...making you feel welcomed. The empower and classic barre classes are challenging, and yet leaves you with an amazing sense of feel good accomplishment! I really appreciate the smaller class sizes; the instructor gently makes any correction to your form and always adds a word of encouragement to get you to the final 10 countdown. If you are a runner, pure barre will help you achieve your next PR!!

Triad Gymnastics

I think they should maybe focus on just preschool or gymnastics. I was originally attracted because of the athletic side of it but I think a large part of my son's preschool time was spent in front of a screen and he hated going. Did not have a good feeling about the place.

My daughter had her birthday party here and it was the easiest and best party we’ve ever had. It’s was the first party where I got to just sit and relax and just enjoy the party. The girls that were hosting were very tentative and helped with everything without me even having to ask. They went above and beyond and made my daughter feel so special. Triad has a incredible set up for parties. Stevie already said she’s having her party here next year too😊. We loved everything about it!

This place has saved my son. My son is autistic and I was so worried about him going to school and if people would understand him (speech delay) we started him here when he was two and now he is four.  he begs to go. If school is not in session he cries if we drive by. The teachers and the staff are absolutely amazing. They are so understanding and so helpful and patient. my son now talks more than he ever did before and I am a firm believer it’s because of how they handled him in the classroom. now my daughter will be starting there this year and I am so excited. If you are looking for an environment that is inclusive and handles children of all different levels of learning and understanding this is the place for you. I am forever grateful for Triad. I will be so incredibly sad when they both age out of the preschool program.

It's been a good place for the kids to tryout gymnastics. Our son is in the beginner boys class and really seems to be enjoying his experience. His instructor is enthusiastic and seems to really care about encouraging and rewarding the boys when they reach a goal or make good progress. Our daughter is in a younger class. Wish the class sizes were a little smaller, so the kids could learn faster. Current cost for one 55 min. session per week: $65/mo. + $20 yearly registration fee. Multi-student discount available.

Our 7 year old loves it! She said the coaches give her more help and attention to learn new things than the previous gym she attended in West Des Moines. The staff are very friendly and easy to work with if you are new to the gym. They offer clinics and a variety of classes.

Blo Blow Dry Bar

Reilly did a phenomenal job on my hair! I left the appointment very satisfied! I was in and out within 30-45 minutes! Absolutely love Blo Blow!!

Reilly is amazing and hilarious. I always have a great time and a fantastic blo out. I use this service in weeks that I have multiple presentations. Gives me an extra confidence boost. Love this place.

Love the Blo Salon. Always leave looking amazing. Their staff is wonderful, but especially Riley!  Always does a great job!!  Would highly recommend.

This place is great! The vibes are fun and they really care about your hair. Jules is my favorite and did an amazing job on my waves with straight ends. I loved it!

From booking, to arrival, to services everything was easy, professional, and done well! There was nothing lacking. If I lived closer I’d do it all the time!

If you are looking to change your life look no further. I’ve only been going to Burn a couple of months and it has been the best thing! The trainers are so motivating, and TRULY want to see you succeed. I so enjoy their energy, but also their PASSION for what they do and the passion they have for their clients. Their advice and knowledge during the nutrition meetings is so helpful. The child watch is an absolute godsend. I love that I can just show up and I know my kids will be taken care of. It’s magical.

People told me it’s the best community and I didn’t really know how a gym could feel like that but Burn honestly feels like a family. People that show up, work hard, and see results. I love the group fitness aspect while also being trained individually. I have already seen changes in me physically but even more mentally knowing I can conquer and do hard things and that I have A support system to help me through. Loveeeeeeee burn so much!

My husband wasn’t really into health and fitness, he liked doing his own thing. But after ONE class during his free trial he said “I want to do this. I really like the community and knowing that I can show up, die, and go home” BURN IS THE BEST!

I came into this gym brand new to working out when they first opened, and I immediately felt at ease. The trainers are very motivating, and the community is very welcoming. I love having the opportunity to schedule focus meetings to talk about my fitness goals. It’s a great place for established athletes and beginners!

I’ve been going to burn for just over a year and I absolutely love this place. The trainers are amazing and bring so much energy to every workout. It’s a great mix between strength and cardio days and the trainers are so helpful with modifying exercises based on what people need. It’s so fun and interactive!!

I’ve had an amazing experience at The Body Barre. I moved here recently and only ever went to big, chain gyms. The atmosphere and community at The Body Barre is top notch, and I’ve come to prefer this studio to big gyms. It is SOO welcoming! The instructors are very engaging and the best of the best.They are some of the best classes I’ve taken, and i always feel like i get a great, challenging workout! It really is a one stop studio with all you could want out of a fitness facility — with the best being the community and friendship. Working out is 10x better when you’ve got friends! I love it here and HIGHLY recommend it to everyone!

Great variety of classes! Knowledgeable instructors!

I absolutely love this place! The variety of classes and times work well with my schedule. All of the instructors are very welcoming and knowledgeable. I always have a fear of trying new Barre studios due to my previous experiences with pretentious instructors and other members but you will not find that here. The price of the membership is the icing on the cake, can’t beat it at any other studio! I highly recommend you give it a try, you’re going to love it!

I am blown away by this amazing community of women! I love the classes, the atmosphere and all the wonderful people that I’ve met since I started going. There are a variety of classes to try and everyone is so encouraging. By far my favorite place to workout!

This place is amazing! I have been a member since October 2018. There is such a variety of classes offered. I love all of them! I am so much stronger today because of this place. I love how the instructors encourage me and challenge me to be the absolute best version of myself! You will not be disappointed.

Club Pilates

I just tried the free intro class today with Heather, and had such a great time! Everyone was super nice, and I loved getting to use and learn about the reformer/equipment. I’m 10 months postpartum and was worried about having no core strength going into it, but Heather, Taylor, and the GM were awesome and talked through everything that the level one class would entail & help with. If you’re curious about pilates, this is the perfect place to get to know what it’s all about. The staff is all super supportive and the owner was even there to help answer any questions/provide encouragement before and after the session. I will definitely be signing up for a membership after the holidays!

Beautiful studio with warm, and welcoming staff. Loved the intro class with Dallas and the instructor was very personable, attentive and gave great instruction throughout the class. Would definitely recommend!

Heather was great! It was my first time ever doing Pilates and she made me feel comfortable and at ease that I could do everything. 💗 I can't wait to start my classes to learn more.

Club Pilates is exceptional!  I attend Lisa and Heather's classes the most because it works with my schedule.  They are incredibly skilled, attentive, and motivating. Their classes have led to improvements in my strength and flexibility. The studio's atmosphere is welcoming.  Lisa and Heather create a supportive environment, making me feel comfortable pushing my boundaries. I enjoy all of the instructors at Club Pilates and look forward to my workouts!

Can't attest to their therapeutic value (I had an appointment but did not end up getting stretched).  2 stars is more about the business practice itself.  Perhaps others will have a better experience.

The staff that stretch you are great. But i would not recommend this place. The management is terrible. You get miss communication when you sign up and told to cancel at the beginning of your 2nd month if you want to cancel.your membership. When I tried to do this no one answered the phone and i left a voice message. I was called back for over a week later. I talked to a male employee who told me I cannot cancel without being charged and his manager would call me, and week later she has not. Received a 2nd call from a female employee who today heard for voice message from 2 weeks ago and was calling me back. She said there was no documentation that I wanted to cancel my membership anywhere in the system or that her manager was notified.

Not impressed.   I signed up through Facebook, which was my first mistake because I got about 30 text messages.  It was very difficult to get a desired time.  And in all of those texts it should have disclosed that I needed to wear socks.  I wore tennis shoes but I had no idea socks were needed.  So then I had to spend $16 on a pair of $5 socks.  I should have left at that point, that is my fault.  My flexer, Alex was nice but not very knowledgeable in what I needed help with.  I needed a specific area targeted and I had to explain what and where the muscles where.  Also, checking could have been made easier by emailing information needed and not have to discuss my health concerns in front of other patrons.  It was not noted in my account that I was given a promotional price.  So now the manager has to call to get my card number over the phone to pay for the services.  I will look for a more knowledgeable provider.

I went for the first time today and the place was very clean, everyone was very professional and I enjoyed it more than I expected.  Marianna was awesome.  She was polite and professional and walked me through everything she was doing and even gave me some stretches I could do at home.  And when I was done they didn’t try to pressure me into signing up again.   Great all around experience.  I will be back
