Not the best service had eyelashes done. They started falling off within 3rd day same were left longer than others when trimmed. Family thought I had done myself when I mention no I went to a eyelash they couldn’t believe it. First and last time going there ladies make everything looks good before leaving since they will gave you hard time when addressing next day . They stop avoiding your text messages and calls

Niki and Arianna do an amazing job I always leave feeling so beautiful!  The shop is clean, ladies always have great music on and the best conversations!!

Planet Fitness

Membership revoked for speaking my truth after employee didn't like what I had to say. 1st amendment doesn't mean anything to them but they can spray cleaning products while lifting heavy weights and get away with it. PF employees are nothing but egotistical people. I also recorded everything to have proof of what went on and what they told their managers are nothing but lies. They like coming up with new policy just for me and only for me because I also sent friends to ask for the same amenities and yet they don't ask for nothing. They treated me as a joke and that only shows how much they care for someone who's been there for years with no complaints.

I’ve been coming to this location for a few years. When I first signed up they wouldn’t take debit card payment due to cards expiring and memberships not being properly cancelled. Today I was told I needed my card to enter the facility (even tho they have my bank information and payment always posted and being in good standing ) yet when I asked for a copy of the policy as it’s not listed on the PF WEBSITE. I was told it’s on there and when I asked Gisselle for it I was not given it and was greater with an attitude. Also take into consideration this is management at this location.

The Planet Fitness (Montgomery Branch) is a clean and hospitable place to work out. The staff are friendly and the members are great about cleaning up after themselves. The staff are also very on point with cleaning and maintaining the facility as well. Planet Fitness does not focus their equipment on the needs of body building and therefore, they do not have a robust free weight selection such as 80+lbs dumbbells or free squat/deadlift equipment. They do have several Smith Machines, which can help accommodate those needs, but not well. I provided 5 stars because the focus on the average person's workout needs is done exceptionally well.

Hands down the worst branch I've ever been to.

Interrupted me in the middle of my workout.

As I have been performing this workout every single day for the last year, which consists of loading up my backpack with weight and climbing on the stairs machine. I was abruptly interrupted in the middle of my workout by an associate. I promptly waited for the manager and received word that it would no longer be acceptable to have backpacks on the floor.

Definitely will not be back. Do not recommend this branch to anybody.

The new staff they have is the worst that I experienced. I have been working out since the franchise open so at this moment I have to cancel my subscription. Definitely I don't recommend this location. The manager Jordan really bad attitude.

XSport Fitness

Dirty and run down. A staple that they tried to use to put new leather on a machine seat had popped right out and cut my leg. Machines are awful, hard to use. The rubber floor is peeling upstairs. Bathrooms are consistently unsanitary. Hair in showers, soap residue, stalls are dirty, frequently no soap or toilet paper. And See photos below of a shattered sign (that literally says do a visual inspection), and glass shards left sitting on equipment. Third photo was what I walked into the locker room to see last week! Fourth photo is medical tape with a weight written in pen so that you can attempt to know how much you’re lifting. Embarassing. Such a mess. The only good Xsport locally is the Carol Stream location.

This gym is in POOR shape. Is the owner in this country? Smells like sewage, machines are broken, sauna broken, hot tub has light hanging out and water is brown, floors are very muddy, ceilings in pool room have a hole in them?? I mean come on??.. I could go on. I cancelled my membership. Planet fitness is way better run. Like Way better.

Maybe 3.5 stars… Listen. You get what you pay for. Don’t expect to get CrossFit gym or pvt gym level stuff when +75% of the people pay less than $20/mo. The gym has about everything you need and isn’t crazy busy. Things move decently through the different equipment. Like most places things would move faster if ppl spent half the time they did on their phones or in the mirrors. It’s nice that there is a pool and hottube. Locker rooms aren’t bad. It’s worth the money and I can do my sets and get in and out within an hour fairly decently.

High pressure sales gimmick during sign up where  with a borderline inappropriate comment from the manager. However, I did end up buying some personal training sessions.

The trainer was also unprofessional…on his phone during the workout, went to the bathroom, then put me on the stair climber and walked out of the building after saying “I’ll meet you over there.”

The workout was not worth my time at all, 4 sets of 10 hammer curls, 4 sets of 10 bicep curls, 4 sets of lat pull downs and 30 min on stair climber. Not worth the money I paid. Im all about pushing myself in the gym but 4 days later, I still cant fully straighten my arm and its very uncomfortable.

I complained and was given a refund for the sessions. Another employee…possibly higher management for the region… who was there listened to me and validated my concerns. I appreciated that, but also think others should be warned about this place. Im sure there are better trainers there but I had a bad experience.

Starting at a new gym can be intimidating. Not so at XSport fitness in St Charles!  The staff is amazingly helpful ….considering my endless questions. I am able to attend a variety of classes ~ which was sorely lacking at my last gym ~ followed by a number of spa like services. I have come to enjoy my daily routine far beyond my expectations!  Thank you so much!

I never wanted to do this but I’ve called 3 times complaining about the lockeroom for womans. Everywhere you see it’s a mess. I’ve seen the same hairs in the showers for the past 3 weeks. Theirs no towels. The stalls are dirty. The dresser room needs a lot of care. On the corner of the room there’s a pile of towels. Here’s some photos please clean your gym. I love the hours and this gym is by far the cleanest gym Iv ever been to.  Only complain that I have is members are in the 30 express room just sitting on the machines with their phones and when I’m trying to do HiiT workouts they are very inconsiderate.  Staff members shouldn’t be allowing this.  They have the same machines in the front of the gym.  I don’t understand the point of the 30min system if they don’t enforce the rules of that area

It's a big gym, easy to get on equipment.  Clean as all of them are.  There's a closed shopping mall across the street which is convenient for trucks to park.  Good place to stretch and unwind and relieve stress from the traffic.

It is a very clean gym! Specially Stacey, in the morning making sure the place was nice and clean with a smile on her face. Is great to start the morning seeing people doing their job with such great attitude!

The west dundee location is awesome!! I never feel judged and everyone (especially the staff) are friendly and helpful.

I wish they would bring back the scale! I like keeping track of my progress!

I highly highly recommend coming here if you’re a man trying to operate at an optimal level! The staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and always a great vibe. 10/10

Excellent bloodwork and blood donations. Didn't even feel the 18 gauge needle. Super fast and painless. Better than any bloodbank I've been to for a donation. The experienced nurses are really good for bloodwork.

Extremely fast and efficient , very convenient , extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. They always answere all of my questions and always work with me. Definitely the best experience I've ever had I would definitely 10/10 recommend this clinic. I have already recommended it to a couple friends and coworkers.

Total awesomeness!  I'm always able to get them on the phone any time I have a question.  Very easy process. I have extreme mental clarity and loads of energy after starting the program.  If you are contemplating visiting here, just do it, you won't regret it!

I’ve been coming here for about 5 years following major surgery. The staff is incredible and their protocol is on point. They do not “juice” you up. They’ll get you to medically healthy T levels and keep you there. You’ll get quarterly blood draws to maintain therapeutic levels and they’ll adjust your treatments appropriately. I recommend EVERY MAN over the age of 35 at least get your T levels checked. I recommend this location to everyone that asks me about my therapy specifically because the staff are so good at what they do.

I'd Wax That: Brazilian and Body Waxing Studio

My experience was amazing, she made me feel extremely comfortable throughout the entire process, her office was very clean and she was very thorough with my Brazilian wax. I will definitely be back. !!! ALSO… Do yourself a favor and buy her feminine soap and oil- I’m super sensitive, and that soap is giving me life ❤️❤️

Fantastic experience. Dana took my appointment even though it was past when she was supposed to work that day. She did a great job. Only 4 stars only because she only has 2 yrs experience and the actual waxing process could have been done better, but that comes with experience. All in all, I was clean, she got rid of my ingrown hairs, and did a great job. Would 100% recommend.

I was really impressed with both the ease of scheduling and with the service by Nisha. She is very professional, fast, personable and enjoyable to chat with. Whatever she uses works Bc I was a long time user of EWC (National chain) and always experienced horrible irritation for days. But I haven’t had the first issue since my service 3 days ago… I also obtained the aftercare products and am really pleased with how great everything still is!!

Her Wax Studio

By far the best wax studio in the state! Jaimi is welcoming, kind and always makes you feel comfortable!

Jaimi is the absolute best!! She has made me feel at ease from day 1! Having someone in your nether regions is kind of nerve wracking but I have never felt uncomfortable with her. The conversation flows and makes the time pass and almost makes you forget where you are :) Her facials are the best too!! Thank you Jaimi! You’re the bestest!!

Highly recommend booking with Jaimi! She’s absolutely amazing and so easy to talk to. Makes sure you are comfortable. All around a wonderful experience and can’t recommend her enough.

Spoke to the new manager, Eric, and he seems very dedicated to making the Planet Fitness experience positive and enjoyable. He listened to me and I felt valued. Additionally, this particular Planet Fitness is light and bright and the members are friendly. Best $10 I spend every month.

Too much cardio, but that's just the PF way.
Overall the gym is great super clean one of the new 24/7 spots. Only cons are the drink cooler which is somehow always empty, the water fountain on the men's bathroom side is super slow and the water tastes like it's straight from the toilet, and 1 machine is broken every day minimum.
Solid place though 👍👍👍

First time at this location and it leaves up to it's marketing initiative that it it a clean gym.

Been coming here a lot. It is very clean. However, I strongly suggest to do some dusting away from people. There are people who are allergic to dust. Will keep coming despite this little inconvenience.

Empty drink cooler, except one drink type. Nothing else. I asked when they would refill, and the reply was, “I don’t know. Maybe next week. You would have to ask a manager.” Equipment has torn portions, and they don’t repair it/replace it. Leg machines have had “out of order” signs on them for weeks. You get what you pay for I guess. I’ve had better experiences at Xsport and La Fitness, at similar price points. No frills.

Typical gym atmosphere. But the music is really loud. I asked if anyone had mentioned about how loud the music was and front desk said no. It’s so loud I can barely hear my music. Wish they have more stair masters. There’s  only 4 and it’s always hard to get one. As soon as I see someone get off I stop at whatever workout I do and jump on to the stair master.

Staff are fine, some of them have issues with yelling but if i worked there id hate life too. The equipment literally has rust on it and for some reason the place smells like old urine. The members, wow, talk about 99% of them are only there to play with their phones. Kids, under the age of 13 in there alone.  Its such a shame. If the equipment was cleaned up and cared for and there were more members that trained it would be better.

This location is not the best PF location I've been to. The gym is very packed, especially in the afternoon on the weekdays. My biggest issue with that is the fact that there are only 4 smith machines at this PF. It is almost impossible to find an available smith machine without waiting in line for one. I've been to 2 other locations that are not as busy and have a smaller layout where they had 6 smith machines. This location is large enough to receive more smith machines and would greatly improve the overall gym experience for many people who go here.

My 1st time at this location and it not impressive at all. All the dumbbells on the racks are rusted and loose at the ends. The chest flying machine is also rusted that I almost fell to the floor because the chains on the seat couldn't lock due to its rustiness. I made a complaint to the front desk person, surprisingly they're aware of all the bad and rusted machines but they just don't care. The place is also not well kept, 😷 I will not recommend this location, planet fitness corporate must do something about this. One persons subscription can fix this mess.

My favorite gym location. Lincoln Park.            It’s clean and the staff is professional & friendly. This gyms equipment is always clean and working great.

I visited this club location today. The woman at the desk was very friendly and gave me a tour. There were machines available and the environment appeared clean. I was about to sign up, but the "application fee" was $14.94 and not the $10 stated on this location's website. Sales tax does not explain the difference nor is there any mention of a fee variance on the website.  I decided not to join. If there are discrepancies at the outset, it does not bode well for future interactions. Too bad, I liked the club.

East Bank Club

Back in town for a beautiful chicago weekend day.   Spent the morning at East Bank Club:  spin class, weight lifting, hot yoga class.   Then, in the afternoon, I stopped by the co-working space for a little bit of work, followed by a relaxing outdoor hot tub and indoor sauna.     EBC is the best club in Chicago

Love this place! So clean, staff is so kind, and the club has everything you could ever need.

Shoutout to Lorena at the restaurant who made my day - had me laughing the entire time. What a gem. Give this woman a raise.

I've been a member at this health club for several months now, and there's a lot to love about it, but there are a few things that could use improvement. Let me break it down:

First and foremost, the facilities here are truly state of the art. The gym is equipped with modern equipment, and the cleanliness and maintenance are top-notch. Whether you're into cardio, strength training, or group classes, you'll find everything you need. The locker rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the showers are a welcomed post-workout luxury.

What I appreciate the most are the plentiful amenities. There's a spacious pool, a sauna, and even a juice bar. The variety of group fitness classes is outstanding, and the instructors are highly skilled and motivating. This health club has created a great atmosphere for a well-rounded fitness experience.

However, my only gripe is with the billing processes. It's unfortunate that such a fantastic place can be marred by this issue. The billing information is unclear, and it's hard to decipher where some of the fees arise. The lack of detailed descriptions when additional charges appear on my account is frustrating. It would be immensely helpful if they could provide clearer statements or notifications to explain the charges.

Despite this hiccup, I still recommend this health club for its amazing facilities and abundant amenities. If they can improve their billing transparency and communication, it would easily earn a perfect 5-star rating from me.

Mixed bag!

Majority of the staff are fantastic. Noah on the front desk was an absolute credit to the club. Always in a great mood and seemed genuinely happy to be there.

The facilities are great, the hub was cool to work from and the weights and machines have everything you would ever need.

Unfortunately I ended up leaving due to the unpleasant atmosphere on the gym floor primarily down to the staff in the red shirts.

I had a disagreement with one of those particular staff when he started turning lights off when I was in the middle of lifting. Apparently they close the weight area 30 mins before the club shuts, which is fine, but communicate that. Don’t just turn the lights off whilst scowling.

Since that incident there was a toxic atmosphere nearly every time I was there. From being eyeballed during my sessions to being told I wasn’t allowed to wear a tanktop on the gym floor. Not worth the unpleasantness for the amount I was paying so I switched to LifeTime.

I will preface by saying I primarily go to the gym to lift free weights and use cardio machines.

East Bank Club is my favorite gym I’ve ever belonged to and it’s not even close. The weight room here is fantastic, with a ton of platforms, racks, cable cross machines, and various other good stuff. I usually go in the morning to avoid the post-work rush and i rarely have to wait to use anything. EBC has made it a joy for me to come in and lift every morning.

Then there are all the other offerings. The pool in the summer is my favorite hangout spot. The co-working area is basically equivalent to an added WeWork membership which would run you like $50 a month. They loan you free Hyperice massagers, they have great massage chairs, and they just added those full-leg compression massage things. Since I joined, EBC has added many new things to the weights area, which is a great sign that they are constantly trying to improve the facilities.

I will note a couple of downsides. The class instructors have been hit-or-miss (mostly miss) in my experience which is OK because I don’t love classes. I wish I didn’t have to pay $24 each time to play pickleball - it should be more like $10. And the service at the rooftop Sundeck is also inconsistent.

All in all I feel like I can never leave EBC, even though I’ve only gone for 4 months.
