The Alaska Club Wasilla

Overall I loved my experience at the Alaska Club! My favorite things are the fitness and yoga classes. They really helped me stay on top of my exercise routine and the instructors are super fun and classy people. My daughter loves the pool and the monthly family fun nights. However, I do feel like there are a lot of “fine print” when it comes to the contracts and fees. So if you are planning on signing up I would recommend really asking a lot of questions and reading everything to understand it so there’s no hidden fees or confusion.

Best swimming pool! Good basketball area too. So worth it especially in the wintertime!

Pool and sauna have been a life saver with all the rain and cold these last few years! Clean. Fun for the family. Kids love the water slide, wife loves the Yoga classes.

Definitely not one of their cleanliest clubs. You can tell in the little details how they don’t care about the Wasilla customer as much as south anchorage. Such as, in the women’s bathroom there are three sinks but only two soap dispensers. In the South club not only do they have enough hand soap but also offer lotion, tissues and feminine products. But that is just a small issue when compared to how the company doesn’t take care of their employees or offer a good living wage. For as much as I pay I wish they did better.
Saying all that this is still a much better option than Planet Fitness.

Fairbanks Best Homeschool

My kiddos are loving their new school Nordale and so are mommy and daddy!  The atmosphere, staff and students are much more excepting and welcoming then UPark!

Secretary doesn't open the door at 8 am she waits as much as 10 after leaving the kids outside waiting in the cold. Ridiculous!

I like the communication and genuine care for the student and families.

Career Education Center High School

This is an excellent high school. I graduated back in 2013 and I would not have managed to get my diploma on time with the rest of my class from West Valley without CEC's incredible staff and faculty.
It is a High School for students that the public education system has failed to help succeed or those who have complicated lives, such as students with full or part-time jobs, that may interfere with the student's education. Especially students in their Senior Year of High School who may not graduate on time. They also allow students to continue taking classes at another High School if that student wishes to; So there is no worry about them losing touch with their friends.

I cannot truly begin to express how incredible this school is and how important it is to the school district to keep and increase it's funding so it is available for future generations.

(P.S. This school is also know as, "Career Education Center Campus", which is where I left an identical review.)

I was a non-traditional student in that I had fallen behind in my classes and had to continue working on high school classes until I was 19. But through this program I was able to attain my high school diploma despite being a young parent with ADHD.

Ken's guitar school of rock

Ken is a professional who can teach any demographic of age. From young inspired learners to older age hobbie go getters. I would recommend his services & guitar 🎸 School’s in a heart beat. My 4 year old loved learning the basics.

Ken has done a great job teaching our teen boys how to play, highly recommended!

Lathrop High School

I use to go to Lathrop school. I am now 54 years old. I remember my coach in track and field Mr. Inlow. I remember Kim brooks and Gwen Jordan and of course Lisa Klingman. we were all in track and field. It was alright...

It is ok because basketball is fun and loud and music it is good music

Went there 1 year, wasn't great. Much better options in Fairbanks.

We have been part of the PNA family for 5 years now. It is a wonderful school that understands the importance of fostering the love of learning, not just teaching kids how to get good grades. The school also understands the importance of recess / exercise, small class sizes, art, performance, group projects, and high academic performance. I highly recommend this school!

We wanted to have our children attend a school that makes them excited about going to school.  PNA does a wonderful job of making learning fun.  We could not have asked for a better environment that encourages curiosity and answer-seeking.  The faculty and administrators are the best mixture of professional and kind experts in their fields.

Our daughters started here in preschool in 2017 and they have grown and flourished so much!  We love the cool projects they do and all the communication with the teachers.

I absolutely love this school, the staff and people there are so understanding. I had a little problem and Mrs.Macey helped me out and took care of me. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the school year is like.

Early Learning For Everyone

HORRIBLE SCHOOL...Please read.., I have a 3 yr old autistic daughter. About 30% of her speech is understandable. I had this feeling they were trying to get her out of the school for some reason. They first said she didn't need full days anymore becuz she was doing better. We tried to get public assistance so she could continue the second half of the day. Spent a couple of months but eventually didn't qualify for it. Then soon after that, one day my wife gets a call to go down to the OCS office where they took my daughter out of school, and to not tell me and arrive by herself. I was still at work. Long story short they said my daughter was playing with stuff animals in a sexual way and apparently when they pointed to her lower area she said Daddy ouch. To our knowledge she has never done or said this to anyone else even with many people and many attempts to recreate that scenario. We get random pics and video clips from her school daily. To my knowledge none of these allegations have been recorded or video taped. My daughter was pulled out of school without either parent knowing and went threw numerous tests. Of course they all came back good. I have heard where people that have gone threw similar situations and it doesn't matter once an investigation is open like that even if it comes out as nothing happened or inconclusive it can still shows up on your record as a sexual investigation involving a minor. If this can happen to me it can happen to anyone. I wish I would of saw a post like this before enrolling her in this school. This doesn't only affect me, my wife, it affects my daughter the most and for that I will never forgive them.

Excellent and creative staff. My kids love going to school everyday!
