Ciditty Kiddie Corporation

The director and staff at Ciditty Kiddie have been a God send for my girls! I moved across NYC with 5 kids in toll and they made becoming accustomed nothing short of helpful. The administrator Tiffany does her job and genuinely enjoys doing it. I can call them 10 times a day and each time they will answer with the understanding and compassion necessary to allow me to feel safe with my children being there! Iris, the director has made sure to implement rules and regulations that will do nothing less than benefit the children they serve. I’m 100% sure that the previous negative review was from some parent who Didn’t want to be involved with their child’s education or wellbeing— one thing this preschool does not stand for. They expect active parents. They expect parents to be in the know and WANT to engage with their children and their child’s educational community. It is true that they have some employees who reside locally which is great because these girls can relate to the children that they care for! I wouldn’t trade having my kids in this center for anything and am pretty saddened to watch my four year old age out. Overall, nothing but positive experinces. If you’re looking for a place where you can drop your kid off for 10 hours, not expect homework or phone calls
Regarding your child’s development and basically
Use this center based service as a babysitting club this is NOT the place for you. If you are looking for a center that is going to teach, fees, nourish and nurture your child in all aspects of their development I would definitely recommend visiting CK, at the very minimum.

To the previous review seems very bitter. Personally speaking I have been around the owner of Citty and she has been nothing but wonderful and respectful, never seen her out of character with her staff or kids, parent etc ! Unfortunately some people come into business and don’t know how to act, and conduct there self in a professional invirement! But I think the stuff and kids can speak for themself 💛

The principal or supervisor are really rude and incompetent to run a school.staff/teachers are not experienced and all are hired from the neighborhood we live in. There’s nothing but female workers and no male workers there which I feel are biased. DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE!!!!

Body & Brain Yoga Tai Chi

I discovered this wonderful yoga studio shortly after retiring, and it has truly become a cherished part of my routine. The atmosphere here is incredibly warm and inviting, fostering both spiritual growth and physical strength.

Attending classes at this studio has been a transformative experience for me. I've noticed a remarkable improvement in both my inner strength and physical wellness since I began practicing here. The instructors are not only knowledgeable but also incredibly supportive, guiding us through each session with expertise and encouragement.

What I value most about this studio is the sense of community it offers. I've had the pleasure of meeting like-minded individuals who share a passion for yoga and well-being. The camaraderie among fellow practitioners adds a beautiful dimension to my practice, creating a supportive network that extends beyond the studio walls.

I recently had an amazing experience at Bronx Body & Brain Yoga, and I wanted to share my positive review, especially regarding the instructor, Leo. I had been dealing with ankle discomfort, which left me limping for a couple of days. Leo went above and beyond to assist me by introducing simple and easy stretches.The stretches were not only effective but also practical to incorporate into my daily routine. The person who teaches yoga here his name is Leo. I've had the privilege of working alongside Leo for the past two years at another worksite but I can't speak highly enough of his honest and magnetic personality, welcoming energy and approachable nature. Leo creates an environment where you can be yourself.

Beyond his professional excellence, Leo has extended his kindness by sharing valuable insights. His guidance on relieving neck stiffness and suggestions for addressing insomnia, like the Chamomile Lavender Tea with honey, have significantly improved my well-being.

I’m so happy that I found Body & Brain Yoga and Tai-Chi. The instructor Tatiana helped me with my anxiety and my constant shoulder pain. She showed me simple exercises that really helped me and I do them every day. The center feels so relaxing and the people there are so friendly. I highly recommend to come to the Bronx Body & Brain Yoga, you’ll love it.

As a mother of two boys, juggling two jobs and school, I often feel overwhelmed and fatigued. However, the person, who teaches classes here, recently showed me some incredible stretches and techniques that have helped me alleviate stress and increase my energy levels. I used to experience tense pain in my upper shoulder, but after trying these stretches, my body felt as if it were finally releasing all the tension. Initially, I was skeptical, but I was surprised by how effective they were. Now, whenever I feel stressed or need a quick energy boost, I perform these stretches. I even taught my mother how to do them, and she was amazed by how much they helped her too. These stretches have been a game-changer for me, enabling me to relieve stress, eliminate headaches, and feel more relaxed and energized. My mental health got better.

British Swim School of LA Fitness Howard Beach

Wow 👌 best swimming school in queens ! Staff, coach , equipment are all A+  . This location has the cleanest pool and no mugginess in pool area. The best thing is the ease of scheduling and making up missed classes without any penalties thus the reason many parents bring their kids here. It's perfect....monthly automatic payments. don't forget to download their app...it's so sophisticated and easy and I love it.

My daughter loves  swimming lessons. I love the late hours and they’re accommodating and work with me and my schedule. The pool area sometimes gets crowded with parents waiting with limited seating availability. Only reason why I’m giving 4 stars is because The gym needs to do better with the pool maintenance  specifically in the summer time.

My 2 kids have been taking swim classes here since 10/2022. Overall I like the instructors and my kids enjoy swim classes. They are also progressing well with their aquatic skills. My 6 years old went from a child scared of the deep end and putting his face in water to a confident swimmer and adventurer at the beach diving through waves. The reason for my 4 star and not a 5 star review has to do with the facility at LA fitness. Kids have to change in tents, there is limited seating for parents and few places to hang jackets in winter time. The pool area is very hot--great for the swimmers but the parents are sweating on the sidelines. You are not allowed in the locker rooms to help your child change or use the bathroom. You have to go upstairs and use the single stall bathroom, which is often occupied. Also, most of the times, the soap, toilet paper and/or hand towel is empty. The location is very convenient and the instructors are good so I therefore tolerate the facilities at LA fitness.

Garci is one of the best instructors. I noticed so many improvements from my daughter’s performance while he was covering for other instructors  . He knows how to work with kids so well. Wish he can be her permanent instructor

We’ve been coming here to swim classes for my, at the time 17 month old, since November,2020. Owner is very hands on. Staff is friendly. My daughter loves it. They’re very understanding with rescheduling as well. Both locations we’ve taken class at has been clean and safe. I definitely recommend this swim school.

British Swim School at 24 Hour Fitness - Pelham

My niece took swimming at another school this summer. She did not enjoy it and felt
Scared most of the summer . Since attending British Swim School her whole attitude has changed. She looks forward to going to class every week. The instructor are kind and put the children at ease. The class size are perfect for beginners. After a few weeks my niece has become very comfortably in the water. I can truly state she loves and look forward to attending each week

From day one, the instructors have created a nurturing environment which has helped my daughter build confidence. Each lesson is engaging and I’ve witnessed my daughter learn to back float just within 2 lessons. I absolutely recommend going to this school. You will not be disappointed!!!

We highly recommend British swim school!! Our 2 yr old is becoming a confident swimmer  with each lesson. The teachers are amazing and Yen is extremely helpful and understanding. It’s been an extraordinary experience seeing our daughter learn about water safety in such a motivating  and nurturing environment!

British Swim School in Pelham is THE BEST school!!!! My daughter took lessons in different school and never made so much progress as at this one.
The program is great!!! Teaching all so important things first like safety in the water. My daughter loves the school and makes tremendous progress fast. Teachers are amazing, knowledgeable  attentive and discuss kids progress with parents after every class. The owner is Fantastic!!!! Thank you for all you do!!!

Your staff members have consistently demonstrated kindness, thoughtfulness and excellence in swimming instruction. I would recommend British Swim School to anyone interested in not only teaching their children how to swim but to also be safe in the water!

Kiddie Academy of Flushing

Kiddie Academy and their staff is amazing. The truly care about each and every student, the center is very clean. So grateful that my 3 year old loves her school, teachers and friends!

This is the best preschool ever!! I have 3 kids and two of my kids went to another school and I wish I haven’t wasted those two years elsewhere. Teachers so kind and always a smile on their faces. And so is all the staff that I’ve encountered with.

My child love this school pre-k experience was soo beautiful I can truly say my son was very shy in the beginning and this school made him feel so comfortable! The teachers are exceptional! The staff is wonderful! We are going to truly miss them! Next step kindergarten!

There was a monstrous change between the 7 years, 7 years ago, this place was a major hell for babies. They starve the poor children and leave them in heavy dehydration. Today, the service is very professional, and staffs and teachers give snacks to pre - k and 3k students! Recommended to come 2023!

The dedication, care and love of every single educator from it's director to the warm greetings at the front desk made me feel that Kiddie Academy is part of my extended family. My daughter loved the program from being in daycare to PreK I can say that the education received has helped her development as a child , thank you all teachers for the goodness and kindness expressed every day!

Love all of Kiddie Academy's projects, activities and events.  Their curriculum, in my opinion, has elevated my daughter educationally and socially; both equally important to any child's development.  The staff at their Whitestone location are some of the best I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with and they deeply care for their students.  Everyone there operates with integrity and that makes me sleep better at night. We even moved and there are other day care's available near us, but we refuse to move her.

The staff is incredible! Ms Judy and Ms Diane bring out the best in their staff with positive energy, professionalism and great communication. Kiddie Academy hours are great and the location is convenient and accessible. All of the classrooms are spacious and very clean. My daughter is learning here, playing, and gaining great social skills. She's learning to complete tasks, share, use good manners and they even helped us with potty training!! The Tadpole app keeps me connected throughout the day with pictures and videos of my daughter's daily activities. We have had a tremendous experienc and we're now entering our second year. We look forward to keeping our daughterat the Kiddie Academy for UPK and anticipate lots of learning, growing and fun! Did I mention that the staff is INCREDIBLE?! Dennis

Kiddie Academy is not just a daycare. It is a second time for my baby. He can’t wait to get out of the car in the morning to go inside to greet his friends. When I arrive to pick him up he doesn’t want to leave. As a first time parent this comforts me that my child is happy here. There is constant parent-teacher communication. As a teacher myself, I realize this is essential for academic and social emotional well being of a child.

School of Rock

Really just an amazing place to let your hair down and learn music. Ryan is an incredibly gifted instructor that teaches with an individual's experience and personality in mind. There are no cookie cutter lessons here. Ari is incredibly patient and kind and it's just a joy to learn from him. Let's not forget Sean, he'll tell you like it is and encourage your strengths while giving clear direction on areas in need of improvement. Chris  is the great "orchestra conductor" that makes everything happen. Bravo to Jeff for putting together such a great team!!!!!

Great teachers! Quality instruction…and a performance-based approach to learning. It is a very friendly and welcoming environment!!!

Chris (my son's original drum teacher now turned music director) and Brian (my son's current teacher) are both amazing.  Their excitement about drums and love of music makes my son feel the same. I think the comradery of the band is really great, it
is nice for my son to meet other kids of different ages outside of his school; making his
world bigger. performing as a band is also way less intimidating than a solo
recital performance, like most other music lessons

My son has been a student at School of Rock for almost 2 years. He takes private drum lessons and band lessons every week, and participates in their seasonal concerts. I can’t say enough wonderful things about his instructors. They are patient, knowledgeable and really bring out the best in the children. The school is well run and a lot of fun. We are grateful to have our son attend.

I will never find the words strong enough to describe what it was like witnessing my son own the stage, singing and playing the guitar, so fearlessly, and most importantly so happily with his band. I am forever grateful for this experience he has been afforded, because the gains go so far beyond the music.  Music has been a savior, and the School of Rock gave him a home in which he could grow.  My son is his best self when he’s in the music, playing, singing, listening, watching…I am your biggest fan mom, and thank you for giving my boy a platform to grow.  The confidence and happiness my son has gained from this experience is so special.  I look forward to what the future holds, and know this is just the beginning of something very special. I would recommend Body & Brain for anyone who prefers feeling good about themselves, their lives, and the world around them. Each practice offered by Body & Brain has helped me shift more profoundly into alignment with a certain flow that I am just getting acquainted with.

The Masters have a lot of knowledge and are extremely generous with sharing what they know, yet also encourage you to be accountable in your growth. I am extremely grateful for all that I have experienced so far, such as the Finding True Self workshop and AM & PM Meditation sessions, and am looking forward to discovering more as I continue my practice.

The studio at White Plain is a perfect place for  private sessions for Tai Chi, Qigong and energy healing. It is a very calm, clean and beautiful  studio....perfect for private one-on-one training.
I work with Master Susan Toms there. She has taught me to think in terms of "not what I can't do, but how I can do things differently". This positive spin and tailored Tai Chi has made the recovery from my knee replacement fantastic. I am less stressed, more independent and happier.
I highly recommend participating there.

Susan is really a gem to work with!  I've had several energy healing and Qi Gong sessions with Susan and look forward to many more!  I was dealing with a very difficult time in my life, with a recent divorce and being the primary caregiver of an ill parent, and Susan's sessions left me feeling a whole lot lighter, completely relaxed, and in a more positive state of mind. Susan is such a kind soul and compassionate healer. I highly recommend seeing Susan especially if you are going through a stressful period or have experienced emotional trauma and/or heartbreak in your life.  I had such a positive and uplifting experience with Susan. It was definitely worth it for me!

The Body and Brain Yoga Tai Chi Masters are knowledgeable with the physical and emotional  human body. They explain what each exercise will help and why. I have been going for almost ten years and can say that as a woman over 60, I have little pain and can move easily. I attribute this to the classes I participate in.
Healing sessions are also available that help align the body to what it needs. The Masters are excellent at what they do

About 2 weeks after starting yoga and taking finding true self workshop I had decided to take 10 healing session from master Bama and I am a new person now. She is a true healer unlike any other. I felt my heart opened up after the healing sessions and felt ready for new challenges. Highly recommend her.

My child has been attending school of Rock in Bayside for several months now, and likes the experience School of Rock provides. My child also said the staff and other students are really nice. Overall, it’s been a good experience for them and they really enjoy playing the drums.

Instructor is good , I felt improvement in my tempo.faster and more accurate He is like my metronome. I can follow him better. Learning new stuff little by little.”

Under new management (Monica Rubin) as of late 2022 and music school made a turn for the worse. Beware, she owns franchises in LI too so best to look into Bklyn options.
Unprofessional management staff, poor communication with customers, the worst customer service and also had existing staff on edge in fear of being fired.
School would cancel classes without notice, wasting customers time after already traveling to the school for a lesson, would not pro rate classes cancelled and only offered make up clases one other option in the week (which for most families with busy schedules is very hard to make)
Music Teachers, however, were brilliant and passionate. The summer program was also great for young budding musicians.  It’s unfortunate music instructors have to work with new management. Nick, Elijah, and other music instructors are wonderful.

Queens School of Rock is just amazing 🤩 My daughter has been with them for the last 2-3 years and we just LOVE IT! The staff is just sooooooo talented and she had learned SO much in such a short time. Their programs and special events are just so much fun and the kids always have a BLAST! I myself joined the adult band to further my musical education and We are looking forward to what the future holds with the school and recommend them to anyone who wants to learn to be a musician!
