Our experience with Ed (Re/max) was as a potential buyer on one of his listings. Ed provided the sellers’ counter offer to us on a Saturday with a contract date for us to reply on Tuesday. He surprised our agent the next day on Sunday wanting our answer, while we were on a long distance road trip, but the seller did not request this. We tried to recover Monday morning. We obtained the sellers comp on the property, and our agent (not with Re/max) confirmed with him that we were coming in higher.  Despite the seller asking Ed multiple times if he had heard from us, Ed instead presented another Re/max buyer to the seller whose offer was less than the sellers’ comp.

Ed did not stick to dates to get competitive bids for his seller from non-Re/max buyers. The house sold for additional Re/max profit in a form of dual/designated agency but at the sellers loss.

I recently (June 2017) represented a trust sale in Hermosa Beach. Although I had previous real estate experience, I had no knowledge of the value or the real estate market in this area. I interviewed the top brokers in the area and prior to listing the property, Ed brought an offer so favorable the estate accepted it. Ed represented both sides of the transaction and proved to be an experienced, professional, knowledgeable, honest, true to his word and friendly individual. The entire transaction went extremely smooth and we were very fortunate to have Ed as an agent. I would highly recommend Ed to anyone with real estate needs in the communities he represents.

Ed did a fantastic job for my brother and I selling a property in Hermosa Beach.  It was almost before we could blink that he presented us with multiple offers.  From there on he was on top of everything.  He was always ready to answer even our most basic questions pleasantly and quickly.  Ed will be my first call to be my real-estate agent if I ever return to the South Bay.  I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Ed's a pro.  He's dialed into the community and always has 'pocket listings' that aren't available on the MLS.  In today's competitive buying market - you need an edge.  If anyone can find you that perfect home - it's Ed and his team.

My experience with Century 21 is A+ !! I wish all my clients had Pete Costello’s experience and integrity. Easy to deal with and honest. Pete Costello makes every project worth being a part of . I have been trying to contact a realtor about a property for days now and have called multiple times and sent an email: no response. Called the main office to speak with the office manager and guess what: no response. Shame. You should never have to chase any business like this especially in a commission based industry. Not good customer service at all! If a house is under contract, give a simple courtesy call, but don’t completely ignore calls/follow-ups. Will take my efforts elsewhere.

I have had the privilege of being a team member with this office since October 2020.  The level of professionalism / customer service is beyond measure.  Coupled with the growth potential extended to me, it is no wonder that this Downtown location RANKS amongst the highest in the state of Maryland. Trying to get a call back from a listing agent is impossible Gina Gargeu. The staff is rude. Real estate agent are a dime a dozen. The real estate business is a service oriented business which your agents and company have failed to realize. I'll contact the owner directly to tell them why they need to cancel their listing agreement with Century 21. Then I'll write my own contract to purchase the property.
