Country Kids Day Care of Olathe

Over the past two wonderful years, we’ve had the pleasure being a part of Country Kids, family, and every moment has been a joy. Our decision to switch from another daycare was driven by our belief that our daughter needed more in terms of brain, stimulation, and education. Upon touring, Country Kids , we were captivated from their dedicated teachers to the cute animals, we knew it was a perfect fit for our daughter.

Her growth during this time has been remarkable. From being initially shy, she blossomed with a few months at Country Kids. She has enjoyed every class, cherished every teacher, and developed a genuine love for learning.

As we approach our last year at Country Kids due to moving onto kindergarten, we are grateful for the preparation she’s received here. We’re confident that she is well equipped to embark on her new journey “big kid school”.

Reflecting on the past year, we’ve witnessed her singing songs, learning to read, enthusiastically, sharing her day, discussing her lunches, and even starting to write her name. Everything she needs for kindergarten readiness, Country Kids has provided.

If anyone were to seek our recommendation for a childcare center, we wouldn’t hesitate to wholeheartedly Kids. The entire experience has been invaluable for our family, and we are deeply appreciative.

Country Kids has been the BIGGEST blessing for our little family. We had a terrible daycare experience prior to coming here and they have shown our family nothing but love. My daughter actively looks forward to coming each day. Everytime I come into the building we are greeted by multiple staff members who greet us by name and give my daughter so much love. This place has become second family and home. 🫠

We absolutely love Country Kids! Our kids feel totally comfortable there and have special relationships with each of their teachers so we know they are well cared for and loved! Snacks and meals are well rounded/healthy which is really nice. The outdoor space is such a big bonus, the kids really enjoy all of the play options and I love that they get quality outdoor time! Also really love that there is minimal TV time so I know their brains  are being used to gain new knowledge and information. Country Kids in Olathe really feels like home for our family, we love it there!

Country Kids of Olathe has been caring for my son just over a year now. We were at a different daycare and I just needed a change and Country Kids is close to our home, so it seemed like a good idea. Ever since we have been attending and part of the Country Kids family…we have never looked back. Every morning my son yells…” Good Morning Country Kids! “ as we pull into the parking lot and literally runs to the door! The owners and leadership team are incredible and hands on! Mandy, the director is phenomenal! Even when working through a rough three and a half year old patch, they have continued to problem solve and be a support for my son.
My son loves all the staff he comes into contact with even those he just gets to pass by in the hall with or visits with during the day! The HiMama app is also a great way to keep lines of communication open and it’s always great to get a smiling face of your child doing something fun and exciting! The additional opportunities they offer ( Stretch and Grow, Happy Feet, Mad Science) are amazing too! Their photographer…is also amazing - school photos in the fall and spring are great and a reminder of how fast the time goes! If you are considering joining the team as a staff member or a family…do not hesitate! Country Kids is AMAZING!

Oh wow, where do I start? We LOVE country kids for so many reasons. First, the school is big, clean, and the play ground is HUGE. I personally have never seen a playground this size at a daycare. There are live animals and a garden that the kids help out with too! Every single staff member knows both my kids name (this is super special to me) and truly take great care of my children. Some of the teachers even babysit for us! My oldest just went to kindergarten and his teacher said he is advanced academically which is a huge thanks to country kids. I would 1000% recommend sending your children here and I’ve sent multiple families over. It truly feels like home and gives me a peace of mind.

The UPS Store

Wyatt made sending some Christmas presents to several different addresses a total breeze! Everyone in the store was friendly and a couple associates knew repeat customers by name, which isn't something I'm used to seeing. Despite it being busy I never felt rushed and will absolutely come back to this store when I'm needing to ship things. Thanks so much!

Every single employee is very helpful!! The energy’s always great there! Very professional! They even print labels off before I get there! Very knowledgeable, love to see the teamwork. I appreciate you guys! Is there a 10 star option??

I'm a boxholder, a shipping customer, and, most recently, a print customer at this store. In each of these roles, this store has extended incredible service and gracious customer care. Especially in the more recent print job, they were patient with my questions and encouraging in their recommendations and practice prints. I'm incredibly pleased with the final products and was met with extra-mile care in the bundling of the prints for safe transport and the chivalrous offer to help me to my car with everything.

I'm extremely grateful for the excellent professional services with the added bonus of local hospitality and customer service that "feels like family" this store provides. I will continue to look to them for help with these services and will recommend them to my friends and business colleagues in the area!

The Big Biscuit

This is our first time at this location. Our food was good. Pricey, but anywhere is pricey. Oatmeal with cranberries n pecans and marble rye toast was $9.99. It was good though. My husband said the omelette was good. The grits were thick but he asked for hot water, put a little in, and Delicious. The staff are friendly, especially our server Kevin (Awesome!!!) Would definitely come again to this location.

It was a Sunday morning when we stop by for breakfast there was a 40 minute wait which was nothing compared to some of the other places we had checked. The host although he was being harassed by another customer stayed pleasant with them and when he got to us was super friendly like nothing had ever happened. Another worker had heard me say when walking down the steps to the entry that I sure needed to Kleenex and when I was got inside the the restaurant this gentleman went and got me several napkins and said he hoped that it would be okay but they were just napkins which made me feel seen and special before even set at a table. Since the restaurant was "The Big Biscuit" I tried a 1/4 order their biscuits and gravy ...delicious and what can only be called is a fried biscuit then covered with powdered sugar and served with a side of strawberries, it was mouth-watering even though I don't remember the name of the dish. Our server had a million things going on but she did a great job and the service throughout the restaurant could only be called excellent!! If you ever get a chance to.. go to The Big Biscuit!!!

Hands down the best breakfast food. I've ever had anywhere, our waitress did a fantastic job of serving us, and every employee was constantly doing a great job of taking care of all the other customers.
I wholeheartedly recommend any dish, but my favorite is the Titanic Omelette.

It was my first time coming here. It was some great food. The service was on-point. I had asked the change tables because there was a noticeable draft where we were sitting, and was accommodated with no issue.
Our server was Kaylee (not sure of the spelling), and she was very kind.
We received our food way quicker than I was expecting, so that was nice too. I had The Mayberry and was surprised by both the quantity and quality of the food.

Kababs Pak Mediterranean Cuisine

This is a nice & cleanest restaurant in this area. Although there are not much variety unlike any other Indian/pakistani dishes but the name justifies it , meaning if you are a KABAB fan this is the place. But irrespective of that whatever they have are absolutely great. I will give five star to freshly bakes naan and two star to chicken curry. Rest are between 4-5 stars. Hospitality is excellent (5 star ). Definitely recommend it.

Hidden gem! This place is amazing. The atmosphere is fun and the food is on point! You are truly missing out if you don't eat here. The first time I came for the lunch buffet and everything was so good I had to come back. This time it was for dinner. The service is great; servers are kind and helpful.

Food was OK. Recommend the plain naan which was fresh, beef samosas, chicken tikka masala, chicken shawarma sandwich, and onion pakora (more like onion fries). Atmosphere is clean and new, but music videos were loud and annoying. Servers are very helpful and friendly.

After years of Covid, and my favorite restaurant closing (yep you guessed it KC grill n Kabob), I decided to try this restaurant. Chose the buffet. My son and I were comparing it to our favorite restaurant. I liked it. They had a nice assortment. The food was good. I would go back again.
About the only thing I did not like was that the bread was fried.
08/27/23, 2nd time around. My favorite was the grilled chicken quarter pieces. It had great spice, moist, and flavorful. I think they should offer chai. They did offer 2 desserts. My son said the beef skewers were good. They seemed to have a little trouble keeping the buffet full. The waitress could have been more attentive. All she had to do was keep the drinks full. I would have loved to see some sports on the tv’s instead of the music videos.

Oh lovely place, the first when entered the restaurant was its smell that was really decent. 2nd impression was the in-house organization of seating arrangements, decor, lighting and the music, everything was fabulous. We had our anniversary dinner tonight at this place and simply we enjoyed it. Now the actual facts, we ordered chicken makhani and kabab platter. The kababs were good but the other dish was a disaster, i never had such poor taste of chicken makhani. Anyways, apart from that, also the naans were just so so. Other then that everything thing was fantastic, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would rank this place 4 out of 5 stars.

The employee in this place always looks like he just had a drunken weekend with wrinkly clothes and the worst attitude possible. This guy has the personality of something dead. God forbid he greet you when you walk in the door or not look at you stupid when you ask a question. Will not come in here again. Hire people that don’t have personality issues!

Gregg is the worst customer service rep ever! Do not go to the store!!! I regret it every time I forget to order stuff. He is slow in everything he does, he acts like he hates his life and everyone who walks into the store.

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. The employee completely ignored me when I walked in and didn’t say a word to me the whole time I was there. It was the most awkward encounter I’ve ever experienced. It took about 5 minutes for him to even check me out.

My experience was horrible. My friend had suggested a meal replacement shake and had shared a picture (should have been easy enough to show to a sales associate and have them point me in the right direction to find it) but no... We walked in and the sales associate was with the one other customer in the store. My friend and I made three laps around the store looking for the right shake and not once did the sales associate acknowledge that we were present, not a hi, hey, or hello. I made a comment to my friend "well, since we haven't been helped here maybe we should go somewhere else" and started walking toward the door. Only then did the associate say "Can I help you find anything" while standing right next to the guy he had been helping. I said no and walked out. Ridiculous service. As a former retail associate I was surprised not to be greeted upon entering the store. This occurred on June 21st at 8:30 p.m. Whoever the sales associate was, you drove out what could have been an easy sell. Will not be returning to this store.

Don't appreciate when I return a product and get a lecture on how to use it. If I don't like a product and bring it back with a receipt for a return I don't need you to try and convince me to keep it. I also don't appreciate the attitude because I refuse to keep the product because your opinion didn't change my mind.

MOLLY MAID of Johnson County

I really needed help to get everything clean at once for a big event.  Molly Maid was able to fit me in within 10 days of my event.  They sent 3 ladies, who were thorough, polite and respectful of my husband and I both working at home while they did a whole house deep clean.  The stuck to their schedule and quoted price and have not pressured me to sign up for a regular service.

My wife booked an appointment for a 2 hour cleaning. We have never had our house cleaned before so we were not sure what to expect but we would not pay for this again. Upon returning home, there were multiple spots missed in the shower, entire shelves weren't dusted, a piece of our mirror frame broken off, and a rug had bleach spilled on it.

Makala and Luz did an amazing job cleaning our home today.  We’ve had other teams from Molly Maid too and each one has been friendly and makes sure our home looks great.  We have a golden retriever and Molly Maids vacuums do the trick, from our carpets to our furniture. Our house always looks good and smells great.
It's easy to get in touch with the office staff and rearrange my scheduled cleaning, when needed.  We have a set day and they get here within a half hour from their set cleaning time.  Very dependable.

The team is excellent! They go over and above to make things look fantastic, and they are unbelievably efficient, responsive, and professional. The first time they came to the house was for deep cleaning —transformational! — and their regular return keeps everything at their high standard. Definitely recommend!

AutoZone Auto Parts

Great place always friendly staff and generally have everything I need, except the engine air filter but that thing is just a pain to find anywhere. But yeah I walk in and my boy Rodney says “welcome to the autozone it’s the automatic zone where we take you to the bone zone like fro zone from incredible two zone, can I interested you in a back rub?” Gets me every time Rodney. You dawg. But I’m all seriousness this is a great place and generally my go to for the things I need for my vehicles.

Logan was awesome. He changed my battery and refused a tip. I will definitely be back for my auto parts needs. Really liked the St Jude voluntary donation offered at check out!!

Bought a new battery from this location almost two years ago. I have 2016 Accord and apparently they eat through batteries. The battery was still under warranty so they replaced it for free. The tech was kind enough to install it for me as well. Not a hard job but a relatively dirty one when you’re in work clothes. I appreciate their quickness and professionalism. Back on the road with no issues.

What a great place!  I came in with a sluggish battery and Jonathan tested it, it came back as bad, he sold me a battery and put it in within a few minutes.  The price was better than what I looked up online for my car.  It was so easy!

In January of 2023, I purchased a battery (group size 26) for my Subaru.  Fast forward to June and I start having issues.  Mechanic says the proper size is group 25.  I return to AutoZone where Logan helped me with a hassle free switch and install.

The other staff member was super helpful as well.  The store is clean and well-organized.

Of note - the story is VERY busy at 5-6p during the week.  Logan and his team did a wonderful job with everyone.

Cruise Holidays and Comfort Tours

We highly recommend Cruise Holidays of Kansas City if you would like help planning a cruise or other trip.  They have always been so helpful!  We had a fantastic time on our Avalon river cruise to Belgium and the Netherlands this past Spring to see tulips and windmills.  It was beautiful!

I contacted another travel agent and they were able to help me right away. I use these folks many years A. Go and stop using them to start using travel agents that give me benefits or cash refunds. I thought i'd give my chance. But there are other agencies out there better.

We have used Cruise Holidays for 2 different trips to Mexico.  Both times we were blown away with how nice the resorts were.  Mimi and the staff took care of everything.  It is so nice to be able to KNOW that the location of your weeks vacation will be perfect.  Can't recommend them enough!

Just got back from a trip to Marival Armony.  Undoubtedly,  the most beautiful resort that I have ever been too!  Can't thank the Cruise Holidays Team enough.  We had looked on line at another destination on Puerto Vallarta and it was over twice the price!!  We saw whales breaching several times from the beach.  I can not recommend any place more highly!!  We would never made it high with out using, the C.H. Team!!

Our family of 14 booked 7 balcony cabins, airfare, and travel insurance thru CHKC for a Norway cruise June 17-29, 2023. In addition to the "commissions" they received from Royal Caribbean, KLM, and Travel Guard Insurance--they charged me fees of $445. On five previous bookings we received complimentary fanny packs, Champaign, chocolate candies etc to thank us for our business. This cruise we received nothing and the agent just advised me that CHKC has made a decision that NO gifts right now.............

In our opinion CHKC has jacked up their fees and reduced services to the customer. Our next cruise will be booked thru a company where they charge no fees and actually give you freebies to thank you for your business. We are very disappointed ...........

Big O Tires

Edit: Appears the experience you have depends on whom is working. I had a front tire leak. They determined it was a cracked rim, but in the process, they destroyed my TPM. On the phone, they agreed to sell me a TPM that I would hand carry to the rim welding shop. When I arrived, I was told they don't do over the counter sales.

Previously: Great experience. I have a high-performance car that finding all season tires is difficult. Mark did a great job finding tires that were perfect and in stock at the warehouse. The crew was very careful with my low car (using a jack, not the lift) and with my wheels (they were unscathed).

Realized I had a flat on my X3 and needed to get the tire replaced because it was a run flat. Called Brennan and he was able to get the tires available within 24hrs. Spent a little under 2 hours and was drivable again. They offer fair pricing and are competitive with other tire shops in the area.

New update: Had to come back sooner than expected due to a flat. Thankfully, I purchased the warranty and they patched my tire for free! Will always come back here as long as I'm in the area! Great service and quality work.

Absolutely perfect. Now I have two trusted locations that I believe are honest. Danny saved my arse that day, I was minutes away from missing my Rx for mental illness RyDanny. You actually cared, if I miss those particular meds, might as well drive to nearest police station to protect me, from me.. I'm full blown viral on Google w 15 million views. My reviews always go to most relevant. They will say I did it because we know of each other. Nope, you got me back on the road in time. My pharmacy closes at 3pm. Thank you for the exceptional customer service. Not because I know and like you, because you literally got me out the door so quickly it saved me. Despite the way too long of time wasted by the tow gal, her first week and the blow out was in a tow drivers hell.

My Big-O Legacy tires only had 25k miles on them vs the 75k mileage warranty. I had to visit the shop twice and argue with them to honor the warranty. They tried to talk me into "Buy 2 get 2 free" which is only 50%--according to their warranty I should be getting 66% off. But ultimately they did the right thing, and had my tires ready by the end of the week. Total it took 3 visits and some back-and-forth, but ultimately I am happy. The old ones that only lasted 25k were made by Cooper, so I'm hoping the new ones made by Toyo last closer to 75k. Keep your paperwork!

My car broke down near this big O tire in Olathe around a 119th and black Bob. Everybody in there was super friendly. The prices were more than fair. I strongly recommend them!
