I loved it, everything was very comfortable, super clean, and the managers were very friendly. I highly recommend it and I give it 5 stars. We went this weekend and we would book with them again for when we go again.

Highly recommended, air-conditioned and with internet. Not to mention the price, which is very cheap for what it includes.

Finca El Caminante

Eduardo’s place is awesome. La Finca is very homey and pretty. The employees are so helpful and nice. It is a little tiny further from the crag than other places to stay, but you can either use the bikes to get to the crag, walk with a view, hitchhike, or get a ride with one of the employees if they happen to be going somewhere. But…. Further from the crag also means closer to the markets in Hidalgo.

My wife and I spent 2 wonderful weeks at Finca and can't say enough about it.  Eduardo was an exceptional host.  He's created a comfortable, affordable and tasteful environment with a wide variety of accommodation to suit any need.  He was very helpful in attending to any of our needs and made our stay extremely pleasant and comfortable.  I can't wait to return for another visit.

Such a magical place. Immediately loved the cool artsy, bohemian vibe. Then found out it was all constructed with recycled material. Also cool.
But the best part were the people and the hospitality- it was a feeling of instant community. Eduardo felt like having a family member there- he is so easy-going and always available for you no matter what you need.
In our case we had an unforeseen situation occur where we suddenly found ourselves in need of help: rides, a different room accommodation, information/communication support etc. Eduardo made us feel that we were not alone and helped and checked in with us along the way. And the community at Finca were also there in solidarity and support. The openness and generosity Eduardo shows sets the tone for the community who stays there- and it’s incredible. If you want to feel safe and supported with cool vibes and a variety of accommodation options. This is the spot. It’s also at a great location between the park and the town. Highly recommend. All the stars.

Can’t wait to plan my next trip here! Such a Beautiful, inspiring space and I’m excited to see how it keeps growing. The location is nice and central for both walking/biking into the canyon and into town. There were also a few shared bikes available to use at Finca. Thanks Eduardo and crew!

An amazing location - Eduardo was extremely helpful throughout our stay, the pool was magical, the place has an absolute vibe to it that many of the other locations seem to lack, and it's really nicely situated between climbing and town (where you'll find the best food - the taco stands in town beat the expensive touristy spots near the crag hands down).

Our friend broke her ankle and Eduardo was a huge help organising transit and everything else we needed.

The area felt very safe, too, close to town but also in its own little touristy rock climbing zone.

La Posada en El Potrero Chico

Everyone was very friendly, and all the places were very clean and well kept. The kitchen could get a bit smelly when food was stuck in the drain for a day or two. The toilets could also be difficult to flush. However, for the price, very nice. The views from the pool were incredible!! Felt very lucky to help them finish out their season.

As a climber I’m pretty used to “roughing”it. I’ve stayed here for 3 weeks now and I think it’s important to share my experience.

In my entire time here the woman’s bathroom has not had hot water and management has taken little interest in addressing it.

The bathrooms are filthy most of the time. There is poop on the walls and curtains at the time of this review and the common cooking area is always shambles.

Speaking with other climbers who have been here longer they also mentioned the cleanliness, lack of hot water. Management has showed a complete lack of interest.

After moving to El Sendero the difference in cleanliness could not be more obvious.

If you care about having hot water after a long day of climbing or showering with poop on the bathroom floor and curtains don’t stay here.

I did not stay there but went multiple times to eat over the course of a week. In short, avoid this place for food, you have much better options in the area. It's overpriced, inconsistent, and doesn't taste great most of the time. They have sick margaritas though, so props for that. And the people are nice.

Great friendly staff and cool community: they have shared common kitchen and a lot of hang out areas. The restaurant is a bit limited and don’t always have lunch to go options. Accommodation is great. But the share bathroom can be renovated or be kept a bit cleaner. Highly recommended.

I think this is place to stay at EPC. Great options whether you’re parking, camping or want a room. Fantastic food and very kind & helpful staff. They’ve been listening to guests for decades and implemented many things that climbers have asked for, including great Wifi! They put together a care package for a guest at La Posada while I was in the states. They even do an amazing job with special requests, on short notice! You can find lodging closer to the Park, but I think it’s worth the extra hiking time for the atmosphere and all of the services. It’s nice to have so many other climbers in the compound! Meet people from all over the world, swap beta while cooking your own dinner, find a partner, etc. I can’t wait to visit again.

VISTA POTRERO // hotel & camping

As close as Potrero Chico as you can get! Service was excellent and very accommodating. We had a great breakfast every morning. Room was also clean.

Wonderful setting and super close to climbing. Hosts went way out of their way to make us comfortable. New lounge area was modern and enjoyable. Will definitely come again!

Lemuria used to be the luxury hotel from what we heard. But upon arrival, we discovered it was falling apart, poorly maintained, not cleaned (trash from previous guests still in the room),  mold on the walls, and full of bugs( not kidding maybe 100 mosquitos on the walls) . The beds didn't even have a sheet, just a mattress pad.... and it was obvious that it hadn't been cleaned in a while (there was hair on the sheets from previous guests).

We requested a refund since the room was not what was advertised. the management and owner refused to give any reimbursement. They tried showing us another room with the same problems, a dirty, ill-maintained room with a bug problem. They also snuck in a 6% upcharge for using a credit card, which was never mentioned in the booking advertisement or the website, and only upon arrival did we discover the extra charge.
The wifi is only available outside the main office.
Take your money elsewhere. The rest of the accommodations in the canyon are better value and cheaper.
The only upside is the proximity to the canyon. Which in my opinion is not worth it. When there are significantly better options 5 minutes walk away.

While the view was beautiful the hotel was not. The only thing that seemed clean there was the pool. Yuck-hair and stains on the sheets. Rubble and garbage on the grounds-the room had a mirror that had not even been taken out of packaging or hung on well. Overall gross do not recommend.

There are no words for how highly I recommend this hotel. We got married here and the night was described as magical and as "the best wedding ever" by everyone who attended. I cannot thank Jorge, Liz, Maria, Maria, and the rest of the staff enough. Wonderful, wonderful people who make it their mission to make your stay incredible. Thank you everyone! We can't wait to see you again.

Meson de los milagros

It is a comfortable place that is away from the hustle and bustle of the city. In fact, its facilities are more focused on meditating and doing yoga. It is best to go in groups because if very few go, the attention is scarce.

Beautiful place.....! Great experience participating in the temazcal and very comfortable and pleasant rooms, very friendly people, ideal for relaxing or getting away for the weekend.

Hotel Boutique María Bonita

Deplorable state of the rooms, humidity, leaks, the heating does not work, they warned that they would remove the water due to a leak, high cost, no restaurant, no food service. For the same cost you can access more attractive options, unfortunately many events that saturated the most central hotels

It is a very nice hotel, the rooms are very clean, comfortable, with all the services, very good service, and very economical.

I loved the hotel, excellent treatment at reception, my beautiful room, good Netflix service. The awesome watering can.

I would definitely return.

It's very nice, the bad thing is that they don't have internet so the children can watch TV for a while while you rest.

Antique Hotel Boutique Garcia

This place was great! It’s in a quiet area. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms are modern and well designed. Bring your own towel though.
The breakfast in the morning is delicious. The staff does a great job

I didn't like that they only welcome you until 10 at night. It has no restaurant, no elevator. The quality-price ratio is what makes it attractive.

My experience is super unpleasant because I arrived to occupy my supposed reservation and it was already closed because after 9pm there is no one to attend... it is true that they were sending me emails but I was driving from the Monterrey airport to Garcia and I could not review them And it finally arrived and nothing. I found a closed gate and when I was able to contact someone by phone I was informed that nothing could be done. I came from a trip with several difficulties but this was the worst and taking into account that it is not a place with many hotels. I really recommend it ZERO.

The place is abandoned or at least it seems that way, the truth is we turned around again and again looking for the entrance, on one side there was an entrance with broken glass and we never saw any advertisement with the name of the hotel, we called the phone number without receiving a response We better look for another option nearby.

The two days I stayed, the power went out from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. The heat was unbearable, and it was evident that it was common, since neighbors turned on generators. And to finish it off, on the last day we suffered a cockroach attack and no electricity... it was chaos... anyway. I hope I don't have to return

I thank you for your service, it was very useful for me to stay with you. I highly recommend it. It is very close to a large shopping plaza that has all the services, the place is very comfortable and quiet, the wifi is spectacular, very well located. The SRE office is super close.

The most horrible and abusive hotel. I came to the Tecate north event. They welcomed me and the next day they told me that my stay would cost $5500 PER NIGHT!!!! It seems to me to be one of the lowest and most abusive. Since one comes to Monterrey to enjoy, not to make fun of the situation.

The food was terrible, they sold me a vile maruchan as "ramen" a RIDDLE

More than 1 hour to give a room, there are only 3 chambermaids, they cannot cope if there is a room available, what there is not is chambermaids to clean quickly, otherwise everything is very good

NO It offers security, yesterday 3 guys entered the room, the cleaning people let them in, they knocked on the door asking us to let them in, they identified themselves as ministerial, the truth is we thought between assault, kidnapping, etc. a horrible experience. In the end they only came in to look for someone, which did not cause a big scare for which the hotel did not call the room to give us an apology. IT IS NOT A SAFE PLACE I will not go again.
