I’ve been going to the Jordan Creek location for almost a year now. I’ve done over 120 classes. The staff/instructors are amazing and are always striving to help you improve. They are always so kind and up beat. Pilates has changed my fitness journey completely. It is true that you will see and feel a difference after 30 some classes. 10/10 recommend!

I’m almost at 100 classes, and this is one of the best decisions I have made for my health and wellness. The classes are effective, and I actually enjoy working out when it’s Pilates. I have a majority of classes with Emily, who is wonderful. Selena, Teresa, and Chong. All of the teachers are equally amazing, so helpful and sweet.

Emily is great! She has a knack for making movements slower to really focus on using correct form. She gives clear instructions, which make it easy for follow and move from one thing to the next.
I also very much enjoy Theresa’s classes. She always gives a challenging class and very clear instructions.

Emily is one of my favorite instructors!! I will seek out her classes if I’m available. She Provides fun but also challenging  variety of work outs. I also love how she explains the transitions and is so kind

I have several favorite instructors at CP Jordan Creek, depending on the class. I love every single one of them! I just now got finished with Cardio Sculpt with Chong. She takes care to learn our names and give us personal encouragement throughout the class. She makes us work and she makes us laugh, which is why I keep coming back. I can see how her classes are always packed!!

DONT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE A KID! I was trying to buy a Miami nights gfuel can for my 16 year ild son. He is 16 he can handle it but when we went to check out they did not let me buy it. Apparently of you buy anything with caffine in it and you have a person under 18 with you, you can't buy it. Do not come here if ypu have a kid.

The store is ok kinda not like the gnc I go to in my city missing alot of products.That being said the employees that work here are not that nice the guy actually didn't help me with anything I asked him simple questions and basically seemed like he could care less then he decides to say he's taking a lunch break while I was still shopping for a certain supplement.Better hire better employees and a new manager for this location I told my gym buddies to stay clear of this store.If you don't like your job quit find a job you can do correctly.

The staff, though new people, was great. Shelves were very empty and the product I needed was out of stock. The software on their point of sale has been upgraded recently to a "downgrade" and staff can no longer check other stores for possible inventory for a needed product. EPIC FAIL on corporate

The staff wasn't very friendly or personable the few times I've been in the store, and they acted very put off by the fact that I didn't want to sign up for the rewards program at that time.
Recently, I had called to see if they had a product in stock (because the location I usually go to had run out). The first time I called,  no one answered so I called back over an hour later and the employee picked up the phone and hung it up. When I called back a moment later, they never answered- again. I'll just stick with the Valley West location.

Employee wasn't bad at all. But GNC isn't at all what people used to love. The employees are trying and am not bashing them at all, but the company has def gone back to old selling ways and agenda based selling. Plus ALL my usual guys and females are no longer there anymore... coincidence or poor decision from up above making their top earners leave? I know answer but I do believe others will come... they will be what bring customers in with knowledge and 'every customer has different needs and wants attitude'. Sad to see a GNC lose their focus on what made them such a giant... I will still stop in from time to time but only to see employees and if find that one who exhibits old GNC ways or even new way that still holds to my standard even... but for now I'll support other companies that deserve business. Also, if shop their regular and buy same items every time, GNC apparently now offers products to be shipped to you directly instead of coming into store and get 10% off everytime it ships. They don't say if Buy One Get One or Buy two get one deals are currently going on anytime after you set that up... you are excluded from deal. So keep us out of store and don't give us promotions, what a crock. I usually bought more when went to store and I know usually people do so now we won't be physically in a GNC so literally taking your employees and saying good job on signing them up, but why are you selling more 'add ons' or additional product. Sorry but just was there few days ago and sat on commenting for awhile... but shame on you GNC and its pathetic directions been going.

Big House Gym & Nutrition

I really liked this gym.  It was a great place to lift weights and run.  The staff was friendly and helpful, and the place was clean and organized.  It does get a bit busy at times, however.

My only complaint is management.  I had to eventually cancel my membership, and the experience left a lot to be desired.  You need to provide 30 days notice, which is fine.  However, my cancellation was... cancelled for some reason.  I tried to communicate with management, but I was left footing the bill for 2 extra months.  No communication from management.  (The staff was better.)  I'm still waiting to hear back.

This gym was very clean and very new looking. They had all types of merchandise and supplements for sale in the gym. There was plenty of space and it wasn’t too crowded. The staff was very nice as well. However, the one downfall is that the doors were locked, even during the staff hours. So, without a key card, it would be hard to go inside and get a pass.

Staff is awesome! It is a very clean gym and great atmosphere. You can’t beat that it’s 24 hours. Supps available, trainers, lockers available, showers, posing room, allow chalk, etc!!!! Membership cost is very nice and has multiple options as far as monthly, 3 month, 6 month, etc. Highly recommend Big House Gym!

Big House Gym is a great place to train. They have top notch equipment, a posing room, nutrition store and great staff. Highly recommended!

Stopped in today for a back session and got to meet the owner Scott. Super nice dude and was very accommodating as he was the only staff present at the time. Love this gym and I love all the banners hanging up inside, especially the Lions Not Sheep, huge fan. Will definitely be coming back as this gym offers a great environment and has badass equipment. Might even make the jump to calling this my home gym. The 45 minute drive would be well worth it.

Balance Autism

I can not begin to tell you how absolutely amazing this place is. My son has autism and he went here for therapy for two years. He started shortly before he was 3 years old and graduated shortly before his 5th birthday. All of the staff here are very caring, compassionate, attentive, kind, patient, and professional. They really care about all the kids that come there. The therapy they provide helps immensely. My son's BCBA, Brandon, and the teammates who worked with my son are phenomenal.

This store is supposed to be open until seven yet it’s closed at 4:30.

Love this store! The gentleman there has always been so nice and helpful with all my questions. There are so many options and he takes the time to get to know what your health goals are and help to pick out products you might be interested in.

Is this location closed? I've tried multiple days well within operating hours posted and no one is here.

Great place!   Hard to find minerals and vitamin packs and muscle building supplements can be.gotten here.   Clean, easy to maneuver store.

Vine Street Child Care

We have had wonderful experience at Vine Street and can’t say enough positive things about the center! The teachers have provided exceptional education and care for our family. They create a fun and safe learning environment. Our daughter started kindergarten last week and center has prepared her well for her transition to kindergarten. Mandy and Holli have created a center that focuses on childcare for working families and bring activities and services to the center as well as a positive work environment for staff. Highly recommend Vine Street.

Our club rented the space for a fencing tournament over the weekend and the facility was great! We were allowed to tape the gym floor which is huge for us) and have food and drinks. Restrooms and the rest of the space was clean and ready to use. As a club this was the PERFECT space for us! And we are so thankful for being able to rent the space.

My daughter is going for about a year to Vine Street Child care.
She liked it very much. Staffs are also very good and taking care.
Mandy and Hollie are very good, kind and responsive. Even though we see a lot changes in her teachers, they tried to make kids engaging with lot of fun activities. Definitely would recommend for anyone who is looking for Day care in West Des Moines.

We LOVE Vine Street Childcare for so many reasons, but most of all, the people.

Owners Mandy & Hollie are easygoing, organized, attentive, kind, compassionate, and loving. They have always worked with us when we’ve had to adjust anything from our schedule to nutrition changes.

The staff is amazing. We started at Vine Street in 2015 and have been in every room from infant to 4yo. I  I have never worried about her there. I believe that the providers at each stage truly loved my daughter (special shoutout to Kim & Angelica!).

The new building is beautiful, clean, and updated. My daughter especially loves the huge gym!

I am so thankful that I was referred to Vine Street by two different friends. I cannot believe how lucky I was to strike gold on my first attempt. I rarely write reviews but as we close out our time at Vine Street, I wanted to pay it forward and refer someone else.

When we were looking for a daycare in West Des Moines, the thing that stood out about Vine Street is that EVERYONE looked like they genuinely enjoyed their job. Since we enrolled our daughter that has remained absolutely true! We asked every question in the book even before we started, and the owners have been patient every step of the way. It’s obviously hard leaving your child, but it makes it so much easier knowing she’s happy there. Every morning when we drop her off she has the biggest smile for Miss Sarah!

The Legacy Golf Club

Awesome, well maintained greens and fairways.  Electric GPS carts, Bluetooth for music, touchscreen yardage.  Good pace, 4 hour round.  No waiting on groups to tee off.  Nice and smooth.  What more could you ask for?

I live above the 10 green and look out over the beautiful course everyday.  I watch how they mow the fairways, the rough and the greens. They roll the greens and mow the greens everyday.  I also play the course alot. It's like playing on a country club. The manning take much pride on how the course plays and how it looks. It's one of the best privately owned but public courses around.

First time playing this course.  Very enjoyable layout and the houses are not right on top of the course.  Greens were very slow and some construction on 15 was the only reason I'd give it 4 stars.

The Legacy has been my home course since its opening. The course is challenging and exceptionally maintained. The course and Matt, Trevis, Angie and all the staff at The Legacy are what make it the best around.

Hands down the best public course in the area. Course is always in great shape and you get down in under 4 and a half hours. If you're slow or not willing to pick up your ball on a bad hole then maybe not come. They have a strict 4 hour 15 min play time and plenty of Marshall's to enforce. I personally love this aspect and appreciate not having to dedicate 6 hours for a round of golf.
