Drybar - Grapevine

This was my 2nd visit to this location before I provided a review. I booked for a Saturday during their busy hours for a special occasion. Immediately welcomed by the reception ladies and they always over a variety of drinks for your visit. I did not have to wait as my stylist Cassidy was ready within minutes of my arrival. She was very personable, thorough, and took her time. She asked me for my preferences with even the little things like my part instead of just going off what the style typically calls for.  She also recommended and explained the product she was using for my hair. My hair is thick and to the end of my back and my appointment took about an hour with washing and styling. Realistically that is good timing!
This location is always very well maintained and I’ve never had any issues with the staff. The only frustration I have is the parking- it’s hit or miss as the parking lot is small.

Went for my first time. First stylist couldn't get it right. Curled my whole head and then said it didn't hold and restarted curling it with a straightener. My hair holds a curl well. It looked awful. Then she got another stylist to come and do it. It was much better but had so much product in my hair at that point that it went limp 1 hour after. Had a photo shoot 2 hours after my appt time and looked bad. Waste of money and unsatisfied.

Appointment didn't start until 25 mins after scheduled time. I offered to reschedule because they were busy but the receptionist insisted my stylist was ready now. I had added a scalp massage unfortunately it genuinely seemed like she had never done one before. My hair wasn't brushed and was left in tangles. I did not to want to continue the appointment at this point because I didn't feel comfortable with their experience and didn't want to let them use heating tools on me. I went to the front desk and explained. I offered to pay for the scalp massage portion but the receptionist declined. If you have a special occasion, HIGHLY recommend going anywhere else, I'm thankful I didn't have anywhere to be afterward because that would have really ruined my day.

This is a nice treat, and the style does last a few days. It’s a bit of a challenge to get an appointment, though, and the appointment center is a separate office, not very polite or helpful. My appointment has been “lost” a couple of times when I had made an appointment to look my best for a special event, I showed up and they said they would “work me in.” After sitting for almost an hour I gave it up. Not sure I’d recommend. In the future, I’m going with my regular stylist.

Horrible experience. Starting out with my stylist, being rude, and with a bit of an attitude when I told her what I was looking to do, I guess it was too troubling to throw in a braid. I have pretty short hair so it’s not like a big lengthy thing. She tried to tell me it would be an extra $30 for the braid that I wanted so I picked one from the book reluctantly that she told me it would count as “one braid“She did one side and then couldn’t complete the other side apparently and had to get help. Needless to say my hair didn’t look good at the end I also had to wait about 10 minutes so Be careful if you have something booked afterwards you might be late. When I went to check out, I saw that my bill was close to $90 and they had charged me for two Two braids at $15 each which is such a joke if you could see how short my hair is and how short the braids were. I told The cashier I had been told it would just be $15 so she removed one of the charges And with attitude. I will never go to a Drybar again.

Blo Blow Dry Bar

I am very disappointed with my granddaughters hair. The told my daughter they could do curly hair. The stylist was adamant and assured my daughter that she knew what she was doing and could do the job. They DID NOT complete her hair and sent her out stating that her time was up and had to have another appointment to finish but his was on top of charging my daughter 120.00 for that unfinished work. Further, the 20.00 was for a tip that was not authorized, stating it was a required amount for tip, requesting, "do you wish to leave a tip?" My daughter clearly stated that she was not leaving a tip for a unfinished service. I have tried to speak with the manager several times and they said that the manager would call me back. I even requested the owners info, which I was told they could not give me that info. Below are a few picture of what her hair looked like when they sent her out. In the 1st photo, they attempted to blow out the small portion in the back. The top and front portion was worse than when she went in. It was detailed when she went in. Before washing my daughter tried to offer a better way to wash (wash it in  portions). The stylist again assured my daughter that she knew what she was doing. Why in HELL would you send a customer out looking like they did. Pictures are worth a 1000 words. Take a look.

I will continue to follow up until her money is returned.

Love the concept of Blow Dry Bar, but experience can vary from 5 stars (most stylist) to 3 stars (occasional stylist). I try to rebook w those I like but not always an option. Still, the convenience is awesome 4 stars overall.

Quick and hair feels refreshed! Love a good blowout that is then not weighed down with product, much appreciated.  Will be back!

Crystal did my hair for my rehearsal dinner and she did amazing. She made sure I was happy with my look and took her time. I highly recommend her ! 💗

Love this location! Amazing staff, professional, and fun! I called last minute to get in and they were able to get me and my daughter in 15 min later! Hair  looks  amazing and feels so  soft!

I had an 11:15 appointment for lashes and by 2 pm my lashes were sitting on my desk as they had fell off my face! I immediately called the store whom blew me off entirely saying we are very busy and that I could come back! Why would I return if one I made an appointment and my time is valuable as well I had other engagements I didn’t have time to go back across town and secondly they were rude so I’m definitely not returning. They added insult to injury w no remorse as a business! With stained eyeliner on my lid this wasn’t my first appointment with them but def my last!

Very impressed and so pleased! This was my first time coming here, I needed get both hair and makeup done for family photos. I have long hair and I struggle to have it hold a curl. Ivy did a fantastic job making sure my curls would hold all through the day and I appreciate how efficient she was working with my long hair. Reyna did my makeup and it came out beautifully! She listened to the look I was going for and made to sure to deliver on what I wanted. I also appreciate that they did my hair and makeup at the same time, that was a huge time saver! I definitely plan to come back to have these ladies work their magic again!

I’ve been a blo dry bar membership for little over 6-8 months and I have the membership for 2 blow outs per monthly charge.

I recently had my hand tied extensions removed so last time I came in they let me know I had a free mask credit available since I never got my monthly add on in any month…. So I thought I would use my free mask on this blow out. First when I arrived they were too busy so a new person had to wash my hair which she totally had no idea how to wash my hair took 30 + mins, my hair didn’t feel clean but I instead got a leave in conditioner that still didn’t do the trick it just felt like it wasn’t clean…. But any how went along with my service then it came to pay and I know I had 2 credits available as I was charged the day before for my monthly membership…. The total came out to $108 no discount for being a membership and they charged me over $45 for a mask. Very unfortunate and would like to speak to someone about my experience at this location..

This was my first time at this location (I frequent the Addison location) and loved it. All of the staff was very nice and welcoming. My stylist did an amazing job. She made me feel confident and I received so many compliments on my hair. My curls looked great for the next two days. Their products smell amazing as well. I will definitely be back!

Jesia took such great care of me! I came in for a blow out for my baby shower and she was so accommodating, professional and talented.  She made my hair look incredible and now I feel on top of world and ready for a big weekend.  Can’t wait to see her again on my next visit!

We were late to our appt and Jesia and crew still accommodated us. Jesia stayed after her shift to make sure our hair looked good for a wedding. Even when my friend was ok with her hair she told her that it needed to be fixed a little and she stayed and did hers too. She’s amazing at her job and has a heart of gold!! Highly recommend

Tori Henning is a highly talented stylist. My color always turns out looking just how I envisioned. I also have very thick hair, so I ask for her to trim it and layer it in a way that helps take out the bulkiness without having to flat iron it everyday - and she always delivers!

Asked for level 9/10 lift (my hair was healthy enough to withstand the bleach)and got brassy instead. Worst 230+ I’ve ever spent.

I very clearly spoke to the stylist (Tori) about my hair. She stated it would lighten up. So I took her word for it and left. I pride myself in privacy and will not be revealing my info online.

This was my first time getting my hair done in Fargo ND. I’ve always had it done in either Grand Forks or North Carolina. I booked my appt with Tori! She was absolutely amazing, conversations came so natural and we talked about all the things! She is also super talented! I really appreciate the beautiful work she did on my hair.

Great waxing and thorough! No bleeding or bumps afterwards. Anne is so nice and professional. Her place is extremely clean.

I go to Anna about twice a month to get my brows waxed/threaded, tinted and a facial wax. She is very personable and makes sure that I’m pleased with the service.

I just had my first visit with Anna. She was wonderful! I came in for an eyebrow wax and she added on some threading for no extra charge because she only had a few little spots to do. It brought my brows to LIFE! A friend told me about her shop and I'm so glad I tried it out.

Got individual Custer Lashes,which one side was leaning down before I left the shop. I pointed it out and she attempted to fix it by time I went home Same side started leaning again. Unfortunately me leaving for a cruise I had no time to go back to the shop to clearly get that end redone. Went on my cruise and the lashes didn’t even last the full 6 days. Total waste money. Will not be returning.

Horrible service. The girl- who was NOT who I booked- was on her phone for 10 minutes before she got up to help us. And was very rude when doing my eyebrows. Not only did she make them VERY uneven, she missed spots. First time going, never again. Very disappointing for a place with such high ratings 😕

Drybar - Dallas - Northpark

Don’t go here for updos, my totals was $143, they can’t even do a messy bun right… I even showed a detailed video of how to do it step by step. What ever my stylist did, the bun was so tight on me I looked like a ballerina. The hair bangs she curled went straight right after I left. I would give a 0 star if possible

I really appreciated how easy it was to book my service. Loved how gentle they were with my curly hair. Definitely going to return next time I’m in the city.

Joann did an amazing job on my hair!!!! So recommend asking for her. She took the time and made sure my hair looked great by even fixing parts she said were out of place! So sweet!!

Drybar Northpark gives excellent service from front desk to stylist.  I request Thanya as my stylist.   I consistently love how she treats and styles my hair.  It comes out perfectly every time.  Thanya is the best!

I went in super hopeful. Especially considering all the good reviews about them being able to do natural hair. Let me be clear. No they do not! (Or maybe it was just my stylist) my roots were untouched even after she spent an hour and a half JUST on washing and blowing. My hair is 3A so it is VERY manageable and easy to work with. When she actually did pick up the flat iron she STILL did not get to the roots but went over the strands 3x. Their customer service is extremely lacking and they did nothing to even empathize nor try to remedy it.Around TWO HOURS and they still didn’t get to curling my hair. Do yourself a favor (if you are African American and go to Pressed Roots. It’s $20 more but they will make sure you leave happy and your roots actually straight.
