Great Gym, Excellent instructors. Music choices are my favorite! Stephan helps me alter the workout due to an injury. Neil make sure you are always doing the exercises correctly and plays the best music! Monica’s classes will work you to the bone and Janice keeps you in your toes through the whole workout!

A great workout and community! The total body classes have been a great for strength building. The coaches are all knowledgable and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about Fitness in the City!

Wow! I’ve been to many gyms over the years and this one is fantastic! I love the trainers, the classes, the facility! It’s super clean. They really care about their members. I also love the option to take 4 classes at the River (Five Points), with the monthly membership. The price is right! I have some back and shoulder pain, and they always modify when I need it. All the members are friendly too! An inclusive and supportive gym! Parking is never an issue. Thank you all!!

Fitness in the City is awesome! The classes are hard, creative and leave plenty of room for modifications when you need them. You get a great workout even at very different fitness levels! Definitely recommend!

Love this fitness gym! As a new member, the trainers and members have been very welcoming and motivating, and I always leave feeling that I got a great workout! Their workouts have been just what I need to help me feel grounded and stronger in all of my other fitness activities.

Planet Fitness

A super clean club but smaller than most other Planet Fitness gyms and now testing a 12.99 a month price for just a basic membership instead of the usual 10 bucks albeit adding nothing new to justify its new pricing test.

Add in the fresh $49 annual fee and you’re looking at over $205 a year for a gym that you most likely have in your apartment building. We don't recommended.

It's nice and clean here. The staff is on so far that I've seen and it's one of the cleanest PF. The showers have doors and are a nice size compared to the ones with 🚿 curtains their fairly small. There are lots of machines that are rarely used though

This location is great! The staff is always friendly, not in a generic way, but seem happy and authentic. The space itself is always clean to the max. I love the diversity and nobody treated me weird when I had my ankle monitor on. 10/10 will always recommend

I’ve been going here for almost 5 years. It’s clean, convenient, and the staff are very friendly. They have all of the equipment you could need, and it’s never overly crowded.

Typical corporate gym.

I can't bring in my own jump rope because that's a "safety hazard".

They don't have a squat rack because they're scared someone will get hurt using it.

They don't have a punching bag because it's "a judgment-free zone", whatever that means.

What over-sanitized garbage.

Altitude Movement Gym

We had a blast here!  From ages 7-18, our family highly recommends trying this gym out.  The coaches were very friendly and helpful and my kids didn't want to leave!

Altitude has been amazing for our 5 year old son. He always looks forward to his Saturday morning class and they do a good job of wearing your kiddo out. His confidence has grown since we started coming and I see that transferred over to our everyday lives as well. The coaches are positive, awesome, and push your kids to stretch their boundaries. We are moving states this upcoming week and will really miss this place. I highly recommend this gym for kids of all ages.

Altitude did a great job with our little girl.  Helped her gain confidence in the process of learning Ninja.   The staff is very nice and attentive as well.  It was a great experience.

Altitude Ninja Gym is an amazing partner and host for The Rocky Mountain State Games. They are easy to work with and have a wonderful facility that truly changes lives of our local community of all ages!

We visited an open gym time as a family while visiting Colorado Springs! We all had a blast! The owner/coach was wonderful with engaging kids in the various obstacles/activities! Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Highly recommend this facility as a great, active activity for families!

Level Up Fitness

The coaches are phenomenal and incredibly talented at programming. Not only have I experienced significant changes in strength, mobility and flexibility, but the community at Sloan's Lake CrossFit is encouraging and welcoming to say the least! It can be intimidating to walk into a new box and not know anyone or be uncertain of your workout performance, but from day 1 I felt like I was a part of the family. I'm so grateful for SLC, and for the knowledgeable coaches who push me in a safe and healthy way.

Hands down the warmest and most welcoming gym atmosphere I've ever encountered. Haven is an incredible coach/owner/motivator/friend, and he's successfully built a team of instructors that go above and beyond what should ever be expected.

Although initially skeptical of crossfit (in general), the approach and attitude of the coaches, as well as the other gym members, made this one of the easiest and most rewarding choices of my life. Highlights include ample 1:1 coaching, extensive practice dedicated to each exercise, strict attention to safe movements, a welcoming environment for people of EVERY level and background, and a laundry list of classes to choose from everyday.

The other reviews are spot on when they say that SLCF is a family. It has been an absolute treat to be a part of it.

There are 3 things you should look for in any gym:

1. Great facilities/equipment
2. Great coaching
3. Great community

SLCF has all of those things and the best of each. The moment you step into the gym you feel welcome and supported through every challenge. The people offer a community like no other gym and they start to feel like family. The facilities and equipment are top notch and allow you to focus on fitness, not trying to find working equipment or space to get fit. The coaches, Haven, Ben, Dana, and Kate are incredible.

I have been coached by Haven in athletics and lifting for the better part of 12 years and his knowledge and methodology is like no other. I have never found another coach that drives me to be better or improves my skillset more than Haven. He leads a team of incredible coaches and will help you accomplish whatever your goal may be.

Bottom line is if you want to feel like a bald eagle on the Fourth of July, this is the gym for you.

Joined this gym after being out of fitness for far too long due to a broken arm. Haven has been very helpful in tailoring each exercise to my capabilities and pushing me to my limits. The gym has a wonderful family atmosphere and everyone pushes you to improve and become better. Best decision I have made all year was joining Sloans Lake CrossFit. Cheers to health!

I have visited a lot of gyms and been exposed to a vast range of coaching over the years.  I am also one that is a bit reserved when it comes to trusting programming and coaching in the crossfit world.  I can say without hesitate that the SLCF coaches are phenomenal and incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to programming. Simply put; they walk the walk.

Since day one I felt at home and part of a great family.  I have felt at home, but not comfortable. :) These coaches are not going to let me get comfortable, which I love!  They were quickly in-tune to my strengths + weaknesses and will not let me just coast during a workout.

I am looking forward to the day that I can call SLCF my home gym full time. My current schedule has hindered me from getting into this gym as much as I would like, but that does not take away from the experience I have each time I enter those doors.  I am so grateful for these coaches and for this instant family!

The River Yoga - Golden Triangle

The river yoga is such a welcoming place to get your flow on! All the teachers have their own style which really keeps each class fresh. Plus they have a couple different studios which have their own vibe. Some teachers even do other classes like sound healing etc. the membership is well worth it!

I LOVE THE RIVER! I can't get enough of this yoga community. The studios are welcoming, calming, and clean. The instructors are top-notch and foster a happy and healthy space. I couldn't recommend The River Yoga studios more :)

I'm doing my 200 hr at the river and it has been a wonderful experience!! The people are welcoming and warm. Every class is a unique experience and I always walk out feeling more grounded than when I came in. I highly recommend the River to anyone looking for a new place to practice

I love the River! Such a welcoming place to get your flow on. I've been a member for a little over a year now but have been going to the River for at least 5 years through ClassPass. The space is fantastic and the people are even better - shout out to Kendall, Garry, Andy, Lisa and Alex!! My most frequent instructors. I have the Metta Membership which allows me to use their building partner gym, Fitness in the City. Also a fantastic place. Keep doin' what you're doin'!

this studio helped me to fall in love with yoga and we’ve been going strong since 2016! gorgeous spaces, nice variety of classes, each teacher has their own flair, all around 10/10.

CorePower Yoga

CorePower like all yoga studios is about the teachers. And in my personal opinion Julia Archer is an amazing teacher and anytime you can get in her class I highly recommend it. The CorePower yoga studio is clean and well maintained. The merchandise area is great if you're a woman. As a man who likes yoga as their main exercise I do wish they had more me items for sale.

The studio is clean. The instructors are all well-trained and lead safe classes. Each instructor has a different approach to class, and I like the variety. Yoga Sculpt is a full-body workout, low-impact, with the freedom to adapt for yourself.

I love Corepower all year round, but especially at the Holidays. I have been taking fantastic CP2 classes with Colin, who makes yoga even more fun than it already is. Today, my daughter and I took a CoreRestore at Garden of the Gods, and since we were the only ones there, she tailored the whole class to our specific needs. Such a gift!

Love the Hot Yoga classes! The studio is clean and beautiful.  I recently signed up for the Live and On Demand classes and I am so grateful to be able to take a class from anywhere at any time!  The instructors are all top notch!

I go every Saturday at the same time. Mia is an awesome instructor!  The classes always have a different flow sequence so I always feel challenged. The facilities are also nice and clean.

Barre Forte Colorado Springs

I've attended over 150 classes over the last 18 months. I initially joined to get in shape to hike to the top of Pikes Peak. Consistent workouts here help me accomplish that goal. This place is the awesome and the vibes are always positive. Each workout is unique and different. The studio is welcoming and inclusive to everyone. Best of all the instructors are amazing people!

Wow! I have never been so impressed by a workout place! The exercises are hard enough to get results but not hard enough to make you regret it the next day! The staff is VERY sweet and the location is amazing! Couldn’t recommend a better place!

Barre forte COLORADO SPRINGS…. This is for you *crowd cheers*

I’ll start off by saying I recently moved to the area and was looking for a great fitness community/class to be part of my daily routine. I did extensive research on the nearby options and their approach with prenatal workouts and I couldn’t be more pleased with the response I got from Shilo. I called to see what they offer for pregnant women and how they cater the experience. Though I am only able to take a few classes due to the modifications, I am beyond impressed with the level of attention and care I was given by Shilo, Valerie, and Lauren.

I cannot recommend this place more to anyone looking to explore the fitness options they have to offer! The staff are incredibly friendly and even remember your name! What?? The location is also very clean and follows protocol closely (locking doors during classes so your stuff is secure!).

Thank you Barre Forte team for exceeding expectations in so many ways. I can’t wait to try the other classes once baby arrives but for now I will leave you with this. This location really knows how to brand the company well and leaves a great impression.

The barre workouts at Barre Forte are helping me tone up and redefine muscles I didn't know I had!  I am really appreciating things firming up on me and know I would not exercise this hard on my own.  All the instructors are so friendly and the classes are pretty varied depending on the individual instructors.  All the instructors are concentrating on your form and work out versus getting in their own.  The exercise space is well designed and pleasant with plenty of mirrors to give you feedback on your form.  Definitely recommend it!

I haven't been back in a few years, but plan too. I went regularly when I was pregnant with my 2nd child, and loved it. The workouts are great, the staff extremely welcoming. It was one of the few workout places I felt like I was part of the community and welcomed whole heartedly.

The River Yoga Sunnyside

This studio made me fall in love with yoga and the community around it.

The teachers/instructors helped me learn from ground zero, and in the best way possible. I have never felt more safe in a workout/movement environment.

No matter your skill level or background, the studio genuinely has the perfect class and teacher for you.

I highly recommend trying a class from Lisa, Lindsey, Marisa K and Krystal. :)

I love this space. I joined the River at the recommendation of a friend just over a year ago. The community has multiple locations in Denver, but Sunnyside is the location I go to most often. Everyone is so welcoming and the space reflects that.

It hosts two large studios, one with garage doors for open air classes during nice weather. The space is clean, feels safe, the heated class are wonderful during cold months and teachers are fabulous.

One of my favorite things about the River classes are that every class can be adapted to what you need. There is no judgment on your movement or what you personally need from the space any given day. Check it out!

Longtime ClassPass user, but ended up just recently getting a membership to River Yoga because I love it here so much. The instructors are amazing and there is always a class that works with my schedule. The studio is very clean and welcoming. Sunnyside has a great atmosphere that always keeps me coming back. Shout out to Carolyn B., Jess Y., and Krystal M., who I practice with the most. Love your classes!

Most of the classes offered are heated (that's fine), with loud music and the instructor YELLING over all the noise to guide the class. Not my ideal class, personally. One of the instructors was incredible and I really liked his classes. Their cancellation policy is absurd, especially for an organization that regularly cancels classes. I probably won't go back.

I love The River :') all three of the locations are beautiful. Every single teacher, every class, and every flow is so, so good. I always look forward to coming in to the studio, because I know I'll leave feeling even better.
After a hot yoga class at the Sunnyside location, I accidentally grabbed the wrong pair of boots on my way out, and the person whose boots I stole took mine home with them. The River staff went above and beyond to reconnect me with my boots, and I'm so grateful.
No matter how long you've been doing yoga, what your comfort level or experience is, there is a home for your practice here. I'd highly recommend The River.

Burn Boot Camp

Burn Boot Camp has changed the game for me in the way that I exercise! It takes me back to high school sports and the way we conditioned back then which I loved! I am at a place in my fitness journey where I don’t want to make up my own work outs, I just want to show up and have someone else tell me what to do. Being with friends makes it that much more fun and keeps me accountable!

I joined Burn in September 2023 after attending two of their popup camps in the Springfield, MO, area during the summer. In two camps I could tell that the trainers and staff were fully focused on seeing their members become their best. As someone who has struggled with finding a commitment to fitness over the course of my adult life, knowing that Burn would push me to be my best while I was surrounded by a group of people cheering me on made ALL the difference.

I've come to nearly every camp offered at Burn since they opened their doors, and the energy, support, and enthusiasm has only grown since day one. I've made many friends during camp who celebrate achievements with me, encourage me to do something I don't think I can do, and support me as I discover a side of my own fitness I didn't realize I had. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate and respect the owners and their staff — they are caring, compassionate, and fun to be around!

I joined Burn as someone who had never participated in a group exercise setting before, but I am hooked on this format and I can't imagine spending my mornings anywhere else. Thank you, Cami and Karlee, for bringing Burn to our community!!

This is a gym like no other! You feel welcome from the second you walk through the door. The workouts are challenging but with the trainers you feel like you’re getting one on one training! Add in an amazing facility and child watch included - can’t recommend highly enough!

StretchLab

I cannot say enough about this place and the people here that would justify the great experience I have at stretch lab loHi.
I've stretched with 4 different employees here, and although they each have their own techniques, all of the stretches have been good if not great!
My interactions with Marci and all of the employees here have been positive adding to the greatness of this place.
The stretches have significantly improved my overall pain. If you can afford to consistently stretch here, it is well worth the investment!

Marci is so friendly, and Katie P. is an angel. She immediately knew what my body needed. She is also very bubbly, energetic, and strong. It was 50 minutes of pure muscle/stress release. StretchLab got me for the next 3 months and I'm super excited about that!!

Love Marci and her crew! Such a great atmosphere and good energy. Every stretchologist has their own unique style and flow that is super productive. They listen to your needs and tailor a stretch to help you. I have seen such progress in my flexibility, tone and mood coming here. Also, feel such a difference in my workouts coming here 1x week.

All of the instructors are wonderful! I really enjoy Emily for  certain areas that I feel an injury coming on. And I love Andres as he really knows how to push you to improve your flexibility when you think you’re at your max!

Marci the owner, is the sweetest. Makes an effort to get to know anyone and runs a very organized facility. Also she loves dogs 🥰and welcomes Harden (my pup) which is nice to bring him along too! 🙂

Katie - at the Denver facility in LoHi, was my Professional Stretch Assistant.  And  Fabulous is how I would describe my experience!  Having heard wonderful things about STRETCH LAB from my son who uses them frequently, I decided to give it a try. Especially, after receiving a gift card from my husband with my son’s recommendation. I’m a very active over 65 female - I play Tennis competitively, run and workout several times a week and enjoy and like to keep myself physically fit.  The Stretch Lab Professional Assistant experience is great in helping maintain a healthy balance between my physical workouts that I do on my own and doing the proper and necessary muscle, ligament and tendon workouts an Assistant provides, to keep doing what I enjoy!  Living life!  Good for all ages and activity levels!  Bonus - it just feels so good!

StrechLab has been a great addition to my routine. Staying limber is key to balancing athletic/inactive times and avoiding injuries/aches between. Having a trained professional lead the stretching is so much more effective than attempting to stretch on your own. Definitely would recommend StretchLab to anyone that is considering it.
