Dye Hards

I love Dye Hards! Great local gym with all the equipment you need. Love that they have lots of free weights and multiple racks. Not just machines. The owner John is awesome too.

They have a lot of equipment, but it is very crowded. To get to the treadmills you have to squeeze between ellipticals and other machines. They have 3+ areas for dumbells, but hardly a spot to deadlift. It is also very dirty. Many machines and benches have stains on them. Many areas of the gym smell like cigarettes because there has been sweat soaking in the rubber mats for so long. I heard it was staffed from 4-6 and I thought it meant 4 am to 6 pm, but I was wrong. A 24 hour gym requires more than 2 hours with a staff member. If there are more hours staffed hours, it would not be so dirty and the rules would be more enforced. There are also weights left EVERYWHERE. More staffed hours would keep weights where they belong. I also do not understand why a 12 month contract is necessary. I am going to college in August and I am going to have to pay a cancelation fee. While these negatives are present they can be fixed.
The first thing I would do is take out some machines. I have yet to see a time when the gym is filled to the brim, let alone every single machine being used. You could sell some machines and improve other things with the money brought in. You could also keep some of the machines as backups in case one goes out.
Almost every free weight, bench, and machine could be rearranged to make the place more comfortable and have more space.
The main problem is staffed hours. It needs at least 6-8 staffed hours to keep everything clean and organized.
$20 a month is not bad though.
Lots of potential.

My girlfriend and I recently joined joined this gym.. Dye Hard's gym has has all the equipment we need for a great workout and with that hometown feeling.

Great gym, right in the heart of Pea Ridge. Excellent variety of equipment, and the equipment is in pretty good shape. Prices are competitive.  The equipment is regularly being upgraded. Plenty of options for cardio, weight machines, and free weights.

It's a good gym. There are no fake weights as far as I can tell. There are some ego lifters but not to much. Staff doesn't talk to you witch I like. It's very small.

Yoga Bliss Studio CS

It is hard to find excuses for not showing up at Yoga Bliss Studio for practice. "Project Me" is the most important homework each one of us has with no deadline. Yoga Bliss Studio keeps me on the track and pushes for better - by offering different yoga practices at different levels, unique teaching styles, in combination with inspiring music.
Each practice ends with me being fulfilled and motivated to carry on with my own personal journey. Accept the challenges, widen experiences and look toward unknown.

Teachers are wonderful. I am always learning new things even though I have been coming over a year. The pop up classes are always amazing!

I have been attending classes at Yoga Bliss for about a month now. I’m so glad I found this studio. All the instructors I’ve had (Carol, Adey, Debbie, Brianna and Jean), have been wonderful and there is a culture of warmth and welcoming from both instructors and others attending classes. The space itself is clean, comfortable and peaceful. Very grateful I’ve found this studio to help me in my practice!

Yoga Bliss is an authentic yoga experience where you feel comfortable in your practice even if you are just starting out like me.

I love the vibe at Yoga Bliss! Everyone is so welcoming and encouraging. I'm super new to yoga, but the beginner classes have been a perfect blend of instructional and challenging. Carol, Gina and Adey are all wonderful yoga teachers!

Bikram Yoga Mile High

The new team of instructors at Bikram Yoga Mile High is delivering a top Bikram class experience in a clean, spacious space. They stick to the dialogue, but also read the room and give effective adjustment cues. The heat and humidity has been spot on every time. I’m so grateful to be practicing at Bikram Yoga Mile High! This style of yoga has changed my life!

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of course, but I have been coming around this place long enough to know that the studio owner has a solid education and background and most definitely understands the philosophical concepts of yoga. That said, she doesn't treat anyone with kid gloves or waste energy being inauthentic for anyone else's comfort. Bikram is an inherently structured and disciplined style of yoga and anyone who practices is expected to respect that, period. Finally, this is a small business (key word, business) and as such there are boundaries in place with regard to things that are provided complimentary and those which are not. Mat spray is not included.

I've been coming to this studio for years, Samantha and her instructors are excellent. This yoga studio provides an amazing and traditional practice of the 26 postures. The studio is consistently hot and humid, and there is no better feeling than after working hard for 90 minutes in that room. If you love hot yoga and are up for the challenge, I highly recommend it!

I like this studio and the management.  I like that they practice strict "Bikram" style yoga - it is a very well developed regime that works good if you follow the protocol.  It can heal your body in profound ways. No exercise I have done has been more healing for my body than this yoga.  It can heal injuries and lead to profound and otherwise out of reach changes to your spine and physical/ mental health.  I think the people who wrote the bad reviews are too sensitive and negative.

This is a great studio to practice Bikram yoga. I've taken classes with many of the instructors. Samantha does a wonderful job with the studio end it is a welcoming place for first timers. Try it out. It's an independent small business that brings an important practice to the community.  You'll never know what is possible until you give this a good try.

Powerhouse Gym Thornton

Do not sign a contract with them or you will end up in collections. I contacted them multiple times over phone and e-mail could never get a response of my actual payoff amount to cancel the membership, months later a collection agency reaches out. I ended up with late fees and months of not knowing I was getting charged.  After asking multiple times they will just quit responding. It seems they handle things very unprofessionally here and from looking at others comments they have had the same issue. Every gym in the Denver metro area is a better choice in my opinion. Only perk to this gym is being open 24/7 and that’s all they have going for them. Not sure it will be open much longer being ran this way!

I had a gym membership for a year. I called in when I was out of town to cancel my membership in JULY to which I was advised it was. Looks like the last few months, they have been charging me for my gym membership. When I called in again in NOVEMBER to figure out why that was, she told me they had nothing on file for me and that was that. The gym is a waste of your time. Go somewhere else and save the hassle of dealing with these places that can’t seem to figure it out!!

It’s so nice finding your people when you’re traveling to other cities. This gym has everything you need and the staff are so cool. I know where I’m training when I’m back in Denver.

This is by far the best gym I have been to.  The staff is very supportive and they have all the products you need to help achieve your goals. The owners are always on point and easily obtainable for any questions you may have.
The other members are very friendly and helpful also, just a great environment!!

Recently had to cancel my membership due to moving. This was by far the best gym I've been to in the area while I lived around there. It's a smaller gym, but really has everything you need. The staff is supportive and helpful. 24 hr access as well, so it's easy to go during off peak hours. Even during peak hours, I never had to wait for equipment to open up. Highly recommend.

Orangetheory Fitness

So far the experience has been good at OT, Bentonville. I get messages from the coach if I did not register for classes for a week and I appreciate the staff checking on me. My only feedback - sometimes I see more people than working equipment and the staff needs to intervene in the middle of the class to manage the class. Rest, I love the coaches and sessions here.

Overall, I love Orange Theory but the Bentonville location is BY FAR! The best location there is in NWA. I originally started out at the Bentonville location and within the first week I was always greeted by my name. All of the staff at this location are very friendly (Coach Ginger is the best coach) and they make you feel welcome and motivated! While some may think the pricing is a little high, it is definitely worth it if you go on a consistent schedule and get the unlimited classes… get your moneys worth! Orange theory really helped me get back into working out and lower my body fat percentage which is most peoples goal. The facility is really nice and only a few years old. They have showers and everything you need in case you forget anything. Also, the other members at this location are great as well! Most of the regulars are really friendly and will spark conversations with you so it’s a great place to make friends and meet new people too! very thankful for the Bentonville location for doing such a great job. Ginger, Dante,Nicole,Josh,Jack, Shelby and Olivia really do a great job. Thank you guys! 🧡

Dante and the front desk staff were amazing! I was welcomed in and check in immediately. Coach Dante was informative and and pushed us to our limits. Good music, upbeat and kind staff. I’ll be back!

I would have given this rating a 5 star for if it was only to the coaches and group sessions. I do workout at OTF Bentonville almost all days in the evenings. And of course the facility also had helped me rescheduling classes in the 8 hour window when I’m stuck in any last minute meetings or errands. However, particularly today that I’m sick and I’m not in a position to workout, I called up multiple times and they denied rescheduling my class. The person in the front desk mentioned this was because of the management changes and reinforced that she cannot reschedule the class. If this was the policy of OTF Bentonville, then why did they entertain rescheduling peviously and stop it all of the sudden without notifying its customers. Being someone who goes to the workout sessions regularly, this change in attitude of front desk employee is very hurting and I feel this is not gonna workout if it is not flexible for its customers. Hard days can come for anyone. But in a business, you should give some credibility of understanding your customer situations and leveraging this kind of things that would land un-notified.

My daughter loves it! Unfortunately this morning around 7 am her car windows and hood were destroyed by a group breaking in all the cars in the OT parking lot and stealing everything out of her car. Not sure why no one say this happening on the cameras. Too bad you can be safe while parked right in front of the building while you go in to exercise. Also found out that patrons cars are regularly getting broken into during the early morning classes. Orange Theory needs to do something about this.

Pure Barre

I recently moved to Palmer Lake and feel so lucky to have found the Purre Barre studio at Northgate. Everyone there is super friendly & chill. The classes are amazing! The instructors (so far Jenna & Maddie) take the time to explain movements and give feedback on form. The support staff has been available to answer all my questions … they are so sweet.   The class pace is good & the atmosphere is inviting. The music is great and I can hear the instructor directions while it’s playing.  (I mention this because other studios play the music really loudly & you can’t hear the instructor) I’m hooked! I feel like I can accomplish my fitness goals in this environment with these caring ladies ❤️

I have been attending Pure Barre in Colorado Springs for a little less than a year.  I am feeling better physically as my body strengthens and changes positively due to the workouts, leaving me feeling better overall.  Love the Staff/Instructors who have made such a difference in their guidance through workouts and encouragement!  Pure Barre gets results, with a bonus of wonderful supportive staff.

Pure Barre Colorado Springs has been the best decision I've ever made for my physical and mental health since moving to Colorado. The teachers and staff are so welcoming, friendly and truly make you feel at home when you walk in the door. If you want a low-impact, hard workout where you leave feeling accomplished, but want to keep coming back for more, this is the place to go.

I am so happy I found Pure Barre! The low to no impact, high-intensity workout is perfect for me. The classes are challenging and empower me to reach fitness, strength and flexibility goals. The women that teach the classes are exceptional. They are very knowledgeable and professional. They are always encouraging and inspirational. The studio and equipment are always impeccably clean.
I have found a wonderful community of supportive women to workout with and I look forward to starting most days at Pure Barre Northgate! I’ve been a member for just over a year and I can hardly believe how far I have come with my strength and fitness.
The owner works very hard to provide safe in-studio classes, and is amazingly creative about livestream classes so that her members continue to have access to a high quality workout during this very challenging time!

I love Pure Barre and the Colorado Springs studios are great. The staff is always super friendly and the teachers are amazing. Every class is fun yet challenging in its own way. The community is great too. I highly recommend trying out a class!

Colorado Victory MMA

Victory MMA is an exceptional gym, and I highly recommend it. Gilbert Smith is a fantastic coach with deep knowledge and experience in mixed martial arts. His innovative methods of training are effective and tailored to each individual's needs, making Victory MMA the perfect place for anyone serious about fitness.

Great gym. I've been going for a full 4 weeks now and every class I've learned a lot and been able to improve physically and technique wise. The coaches are very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do and the students are great to work with. I'd recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new gym to just improve their fitness or to pursue martial arts as a hobby, beginner, or high level martial artist.

I’ve learned a lot of skills from this gym that I practice on my own. I’ve been coming to this gym for approximately a month and I’ve been acquainted with many of the fighters here.

Victory has helped me boost my confidence in the sense that I have the slight upper hand in a self defense situation.

Awesome gym, the coach is very disciplined and he actually spars with his students.

Victory MMA is awesome! I I go to acro yoga and a handstand class there, but I have a few friends who do MMA there as well. Nothing but good things to say!!! What a great space to accomplish personal goals! 💪🏻

Great gym and phenomenal staff. As a woman I always feel safe when I train and everyone is willing to help when I have questions. This was not the case at other facilities. But i definitely recommend Victory to anyone wanting to learn how to defend themselves and just have fun with a group of friendly people!

Universal Kempo Karate (Briargate)

We love Universal Kempo Karate! Brandon and Dom are so wonderful working with kids and my son can’t get enough of coming here. He’s learning discipline, getting stronger and having th best time. Highly recommend this for kids and adults!

We absolutely love this karate school! We’ve been coming for almost three years and in that time have really seen our introverted daughter’s confidence soar. The Johnson family is wonderful and truly cares about each and every kid and adult that comes in these doors.

My daughter has been coming here for over a year now and we love it. My daughter has never once hesitated about coming and absolutely loves Coach Brandon and Coach Dom.

I had my doubts because I visited other karate places but this place was very welcoming, family oriented, and best of all fun for the kiddos. This is a family -owned veteran business, my daughter has been doing this since June and she has five of her friends class recruited, you will be very impressed by all the instructors and everyone who goes here it is very family-oriented

These guys are very talented. I would say this is the most helpful, useful Martial arts school in the springs. I highly recommend this school.

Mind the Body Pilates

Lisa is incredible! I had no prior experience with Pilates and had not done much exercise in awhile. I especially wanted to work on my posture before my wedding. Lisa found ways to help with my confidence, targeting my overall strength and fitness, and targeting the specific things I wanted to focus on. She is the best!

Lisa and I have been working together for six months and I am so much stronger than when I started. She has thoughtfully and carefully guided me every session. She’s extremely knowledgeable about Pilates and she keeps the class varied and always challenging.

I've been working with Lisa at Mind the Body Pilates for a few years now, and my sessions are a highlight of my week. I have chronic pain and Lisa is very careful about the adjustments we make to compensate, allowing me to get stronger without flaring things up, and I've found that working with Lisa has helped reduce my overall pain. She carefully crafts our sessions so that no 2 are the same, bringing variety and focus to areas that need it. Highly recommended!

Lisa is very knowledgeable in mindfulness and pilates - the perfect combination for mental and physical wellness! I've been working with Lisa for the past couple years to manage my scoliosis with pilates. She provides great exercises and coaching to for a gentle but effective work out. This practice has also helped with my posture and meditation outside of the studio! Highly recommend!

Lisa is an excellent instructor.  She understands the human body very well, and is an expert at her craft.  I highly recommend Lisa for all individuals seeking private pilates lessons!

Coppock's Kenpo Karate Academy - formerly American Kenpo Karate School

I signed my 5 kids up at American Kenpo Karate and am so pleased with it! The instructor, a sixth degree black belt, David Coppock, is an absolutely amazing instructor and great with the kids. I can't imagine there is a more qualified instructor in Colorado Springs.  All of my kids were reluctant to try Karate and all of them were sold after the first lesson. They get in their exercise, learn discipline and self-defense, and are making new friends. In addition to learning how to defend one's self in real-life situations, Mr. Coppock encourages his students to make good grades, obey their parents, and make healthy choices at the end of every class. This is proving to be an excellent investment in my children. And it's very affordable for my big family! We are extremely happy here and expect to be here for a very long time.

Amazing info, and what an amazing school to learn Kenpo! Mr. Coppock is a world champion, how could you go wrong 💪🏻❤️💪🏻

I have my 4 yr old son signed up for their little dragons class and he loves it! Looks forward to it every week. I have been grateful for it also as they have a great structure and really encourage self control and discipline and my son has really needed that lately. Mr. Coppock is so patient with the kids and is very kind.  As long as we're in Colorado, my son will be a part of his karate class.

This school has been exactly what my 9 year old needed. Her self esteem and self discipline have both improved.  She's more respectful and is really having a great time. She asks me every single day if she can go to karate. Mr Coppock is so great with the kids. Definitely a 5 star experience!

Mr. Coppock's school has been a fantastic learning environment for my child. Over the last five years this has been so much more than just learning kenpo as it has added discipline to all areas of my son's life. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff are wonderful. Would recommend to all adults and children.
