Fit w/Vic

I have worked out with Vic for several years and absolutely love every minute of it!! She is such a caring and wonderful instructor! She is passionate about her job, but also about everyone she works with! Over the years, she has made me more aware of making healthy choices in food and portion sizes! After working out with her, I feel like a new woman! I have met some really great people here as well. I love having someone that works you out hard, but also gets the time in knowing you so she can make help you reach whatever goal it is, whether it is losing weight, making healthy food choice or both! I wouldn't want to go anywhere else!

I am 50, overweight and not an athlete.  I have always thought Boot Camp was not something for me but I was wrong.  Fit w/Vic is for everyone.  Vicki shows different intensity levels in all of the exercises.  I recently had neck surgery and Vicki alters the exercise so I can still get a great workout in spite of my limitations.  There are morning and evening classes with the evening classes being for women only.  I have participated in both groups and have felt comfortable at all times.  Everyone is very encouraging and friendly.  I feel very blessed to have Vicki as my trainer.

I love the evening boot camps.  I was not new to exercising, but I was looking for something different to add to my workout routine and this definitely added what I was missing.  Each class is different and challenging and can be modified to fit each individuals health concerns. I like the fact that you get a lot of "bang for your buck".  The price is not based on a monthly basis but on a set number of sessions, which helps when you cannot attend every session every week.  I definitely have gained strength and muscle tone.  Vicki is also a great motivator!

If you are looking for a fitness program that has it all, join Fit w/Vic.  She is very encouraging, informative and will help you meet your fitness goal.  I like that she has morning, evening and Saturday morning classes, so there are no excuses.  Also if you have a physical issue, for example I have neck issues, she will show you alternatives in order for you to get maximum results.  Vicki has some awesome nutritional advice, love her protein to carb ratio!  Come give it a try, what do you have to lose??!!

All bootcamp classes are awesome!! Vic is very passonate about what she does and it shows! She is very encouraging, gives many options from the very fit to not so fit during her workouts, and mixes it up so it is not the same workout each time! I also love that you can pay for mulitple weeks at a time or just pay a drop in rate.  I would recommend Fit w Vic to anyone and everyone!! If you do not train insane then you remain the same :)

Burn Boot Camp

Love this place. Love these people. Love these members. Best workout I’ve ever done  and I’m a seasoned gym veteran. Take the leap and check it out but be ready for the healthiest obsession you’ve ever had.

A place to feel comfortable strong and loved, while working out with the lights on. The trainers are so educated and love doing what they do.

Club Pilates Moore

Club Pilates - specifically the Moore and Norman locations - are everything you need in life. Taking regular Pilates classes has helped me in so many USEFUL ways… I’m so much stronger than I was (even pre-kids working out regularly at the Y). Pilates workouts are functional, and strengthen every day movements. The instructors here (and in Norman) are incredibly knowledgeable about the body, ways to modify, and help me get the most out of my workout. Owners and Instructors put lots of energy into planning fun challenges and are all very personable. They truly care about and love what they do! I burn far more calories in a Pilates class than I have ever burned in cardio, purely because of the strength and stamina gained/required to slow down the movements. If you can’t tell, I love this place. Come workout with us!!

I’ve tried too many gyms and studios all over the Midwest, but this is the first time I’ve ever honestly looked forward to “working out.” As a busy mom, business owner, and true neurodivergent, staying consistent has always been a challenge for me.  Fortunately since finding Club Pilates I have actually looked forward to each class and I love the variety.  Every session is different so I never get bored (shocker!) and I am happy to say I am staying consistent for the first time ever!  I have way more energy, and can tell I’m getting stronger every day.  Everyone is welcoming and positive, and I’ll absolutely be back!

I joined just after I retired. I wasn't sure what to expect, but they offer a FREE INTRO CLASS. I have never stuck with an exercise program for more than 4 months until now. I have now completed 300 classes. Each instructor offers modifications in a variety of ways. My balance, muscle tone, coordination and overall physical energy is amazing. I feel better mentally, physically and emotionally. The instructors are personable. I have been made to feel like a part of a dynamic TEAM!

I walked into my first group class ever, when a coworker signed me up, almost two years ago in an effort to manage stress and loose weight. Thanks Jennifer! In my late 40s I had no core strength and no consistent exercise routine. After regular effort I could feel a drastic difference in how I felt both physically and mentally. Now I'm addicted because of the way it makes me feel. The Moore location is amazing. Instructors are encouraging and supportive. 💕 With different levels of classes you are able to grow in strength. Just remember everyone has to start somewhere.

Within five months of going to Pilates, I have more stamina, strength, and a positive outlook on life! I’ve lost weight, made great new friends and worked through life challenges with this wonderful group. The instructors and owners are totally awesome and provide quiet but helpful assistance without embarrassment or judgement. There are free intro classes. Come try it! You will understand why it’s fun and healthy 💕🥰💕

CrossFit AVA

Nothing to complain about. I'm sure it's a great place. I was wanting to use the pool due to back surgeries but it's not a public pool. No worries though, plenty of pools in the area.

Camp Fitness

The best gym ever! It becomes family. They always keep your individual goals and safety in mind. Dustin is incredibly knowledgeable in regards to fitness routines, but encourages healthy eating habits as well. If I could give it TEN stars I would!!!!!

This place has actually changed my life in such a positive way.  The amount of encouragement, attention, kindness, and amazing results is tenfold.  Dustin Camp is so knowledgeable and fantastic at his job!!  I have been going to this place for over 7 years and I couldn't tell you enough good things.  Do yourself a favor and invite Camp Fitness into your life.

This gym is AMAZING! The workout classes are great, this is a no judgement zone welcome to all fitness levels and you can be guaranteed a good workout every time you walk in. It is also one of the cleanest gyms I have ever worked out in.  The owners are very personable and always helpful.

Great friendly knowledgeable staff, certified trainers and clean facilities. Various work out times available for group training! Private training also available. Fun fitness challenges throughout the year.

StretchLab

Read the contract carefully!   Anyone remember the misleading tanning contracts some of our daughters got into during college?  Putting up a credit card in advance is never a good idea when there's not a reasonable cancellation policy.

Nice people, the stretch was great, and I can see where it could benefit my back condition. With that being said, I just can't afford their rates. If they come up with a better pricing schedule, do away with their mandatory 3 month plan, and become more affordable, I would consider seeing them more regularly.

Walked in for an introductory a 30 minute session and was asked to pay $30.00 up front.  Clearly they wanted to go home and didn’t care for my business. Take your time and money elsewhere

I was greatly surprised how great I would feel after my first visit❣️Great service ❣️ Desiray does great work. The staff is friendly.

McKenna was very pleasant and personable for our first-timer assessment stretch.  My husband and I really enjoyed the stretches and had fun. I plan to be back.
Update: Been going these past couple of weeks with Carol and am loving it! I look forward to my stretch time and feel great afterwards.  Highly recommend!

Club Pilates

I have been attending the 6AM class (sometimes the 5AM) almost every weekday since July 2021, and I love it. This extrovert gets her daily dose of interaction in a safe, fun, and clean environment while also getting the benefits of exercise and strength. I can now do things that I couldn’t - keep up with my kids, pitching practice for girls fastpitch, climbing up on the counter to reach the top shelf (short people struggles), and just feel better with the way I look! I am not a morning person, but I have found a community with others here. I don’t want to miss out on seeing them, encouraging them, and them encouraging me. I have taken back my life and feel empowered! Thank you to the instructors that get up early too!

Recently, I was out for about three months from a rotator cuff surgery/repair and am slowly getting back into the grove. It is frustrating and amazing how quickly the body loses muscle strength and flexibility. I am not discouraged because even two weeks back at it, I am feeling the effects of exercise. I will get back to doing pull ups and not be winded when Debbie M. is teaching TRX!

If you are thinking about trying Pilates... do! Don’t let fear or shame be your barrier! I promise you won’t regret it... even if you are sore for a few days! 😂😜😉

I love Club Pilates! The instructors are amazing and very helpful. I have a serious injury and it’s been the best decision I’ve made for my recovery process. I have the unlimited plan and I love all the options of classes and hours. I’ve been coming for a couple months and I definitely prefer this over any gym. You won’t regret joining!

Club Pilates Norman, Oklahoma is my home away from home! I have been attending regularly for almost 4 years. Becoming an unlimited member is the best investment in my overall health that I have ever made.

I absolutely love this place...every instructor has their own unique way of teaching, so I learn something in every class and never get bored. They challenge us, encourage us, help us modify where needed, and make it fun. I have been going 3-5 days per week since mid March, can tell a difference in my posture and muscle composition, and my previous problem areas (knees and shoulders) are noticeably stronger with very little modification needed now. I'm hooked...you guys are awesome!

I absolutely love Club Pilates in Norman, OK! I know it sounds funny, but I felt taller after just the intro class!  My body feels so good from all the different movements and I was surprised to find my mind feels rested and my mood lifted by the time the class is over. I am new to Pilates, so I felt unsure going to my first class, but the staff and other attendees have been so welcoming and helpful as I learn the movements. I’m so grateful to learn it is never too late to start!

The Gravette Gym

Left work early to be here at a 6pm appointment. Called twice, 2nd time the lady said she would come right out. I saw 3 people come, but never here.
When I called back for the 3rd time I asked if there was a better time to come by. Not only did she argue with me saying I wasn't there, but hung up on me once I caught her in her lies.
Huge let down

An awesome smaller gym! I go to the classes on Saturday mornings which always kick my butt. The equipment is up to date and clean and the owners are awesome. Also everyone I've met there has been uplifting and encouraging. Awesome small-town gym!

Havnt been able to visit yet. But family has. Not impressed so far. 11 yo told her tank top and sports bra was against dress code however told by owners its not. Alittle upset by single employee confronting my daughter in the manor she did.

They will happily take your money, but good luck trying to cancel. My sister who is currently in the ICU and critically ill has a membership and they refused to cancel her membership without making us jump through a bunch of hoops. Completely unethical.

Angela helped me learn all about how to properly heal and balance my muscles and body. I genuinely appreciate the information and stretch. Highly recommend! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

I look forward to my StretchLab appointment every week. All the team members are awesome and my favorite is Tayrn. It’s always a fun conversation and she has a great routine for my specific situation. Check this place out!

Alicia is fantastic. She always alleviates tightness and tension by warming up with muscle gun. The relief throughout after a stretch session with her is amazing. She has a great energy!
Angela is another one of my favorites. She is very attentive and has been very helpful in my progress. I definitely leave walking taller and feeling better.
I highly recommend StretchLAB, assisted stretching t's been a true benefit!
