We were involved in a single vehicle mishap on our way home at 2am-ish after vending at the Boone Co. Fairgrounds,  flea show 3pm to midnight. We parked at this Shell station after realizing we couldn't drive back home to Hanover Park because of flat tires. The station opened at 5am. My husband and I slept in the car, on the lot for 3 hours. At 5am my Mister, Dennis, approached the attendant,

Can't buy a car wash at the pump - need to buy gas, then go inside to buy car wash.

The car wash itself looked very dirty and old. My car got cleaned, so it did the job. But I was kinda grossed out.

OMG...the manager at this location is awful! Her and the cashier were swearing and talking about the customers in such a derogatory manner that I left my stuff on a display and walked out. There were 5 people in line and these 2 employees were just ranting and raving about a woman at the pump. Who treats their customers that way? It's such a shame that my company has an account with them. I will go out of my way to never stop at this location again.

The guy helping the customers around 620 pm have to be remove or retrained i ask him if have to put my number in the machine to get the discount  he tell me to shut up very rude he have to know how to respect  ill never go again inside  if he is going to be that rude to me to avoid problems...

Wish I could give 0 stars as a rewards member and part of a company thats uses Shell Fleet Fuel I have NEVER been more disappointed and treated ao disrespectfully. Try to enter my rewards number and the pump continued to bring me back to the start when I selected no wash not even coming to a scanning card option. When trying to explain to the cashier he was extremely rude cutting me off and stated its not that hard. This location has lost my company's business which in being someone who averages $300 in a month on my own in gas it was a big mistake to hire someone like him.

I worked there one day or two  days last year in beginning like February and I quit to dirty.  everything is broke not fix don't drink coffee or anything from Here or food .He didn't even pay me the day I did work I'm posting this cause it's the truth.  not cause he didn't just not pay me but employees are treat horrible if there from here America  . while Indian people that own there are feeling entitled to much of this going on in our country

Im traveling cross state currently, I had the gps on and needed to stop to get gas, punched in shell so i can save something on a gallon because of the hard times, And brought me here, great snack selection, and great customer service, the gentlemen running the register was outstanding, with also helping me find things i couldn't find, defenently stopping on my way back to California.

Very nice well stocked.convenience store with plenty of snacks and cold beverages. Pumps are relatively new and fast, featuring Shell top tier fuel. Gas prices are not great, but consistent for the area. Easy to get in and out of the lot onto the highway. Courteous staff.

Not impressed. The store has an unpleasant odor about it. I stoped on a road trip specifically because it advertised hot foods. It has no prepared food and the shelves were sparsely filled with the exception of alcohol. While they didn’t do anything wrong specifically it was an overall underwhelming experience.

Typical fuel pump and convenience store.  Appears well run and clean.  Has a public rest room and close by parking.

I was passing through town and decided to top off my tank and get some snacks for the hour-long ride that was left. I got two things of Keebler’s crackers and they were both expired! One expired in JULY of 2020 and the other expired in JANUARY of THIS YEAR! I had already opened the package of the 7/2020 expired food and was in Yorkville by the time I opened it. Shell has higher standards than this!

Place is a dump. If you're about to run out of gas and this is the ONLY gas station nearby, then stop. Otherwise keep on trucking along.

Everytime I come here... I always feel so welcome. The ladies cashiers and so friendly, sweet and helpful. The vibe from these two are always great and makes me want to keep coming here. The place is always clean and easy to find what you're looking for.

I usually don't rate gas stations, but I want to give a shout out to the very friendly staff. We had the nicest cashier when we stopped by recently. The facility was clean and gas prices were good.

Cashier was unnecessarily rude. As I entered, she yelled out, "Going to the restroom!"  She was in the restroom for a few minutes, and there was quite a long line when she came out. I was 2nd in line, there was a gentleman in front of me who had stepped out of line only a few seconds before she returned. She stepped behind the counter and shouted again to everyone that she'd been in the restroom. I looked over my shoulder to see if the gentleman who was first was nearby, and she snapped rudely at me to "hurry up!" Mind you, this "delay" I caused by looking over my shoulder was maybe 2 seconds. I gave her a look, and her tone changed to fake nice, and she said she was "just trying to help" me since I was first. I told her I was only looking for the gentleman who had been ahead of me in line. Rude tone again as she snapped that 'no, there wasn't no man ahead of me, there was only me and one other lady in the store when she went to the bathroom, and didn't I hear her yell out that she was using the restroom'? I said that I did hear her just like I saw the gentleman who was first in line. Fake nice again as she shorted me $5 in change and said, "Have a blessed day!"

nice enough employees, worst ownership in town. no reason to sell gas for less than 8 hours a day, might as well close. sell the place to someone that can actually manage a gas station, especially one right off the highway. half the pumps are broken when they even are open.
edited to add, its 7:45pm. all of the lights are on, and no covers on the pumps. leading the public to believe its open. saw about 20 cars come & go since being across the street waiting for food. think youd be able to afford more employees if you stayed open longer, make sacrifices for the greater good. ridiculous

One of the few places that is not enforcing the mask mandate.  The ladies that work here rarely wear a mask and when they do, it usually is just hanging off of one ear.  Probably less than 1/3 of the customers actually wear one as well.  Most of the customers just walk in without a mask on and no one reminds them to put one on.  Mask up people, it's pretty simple.

Convenient, with extremely attentive staff.
Stopped at a busy time of day, yet staff handled the crush easily, and was cheerful  while doing so !

OVER 20  minutes to fill my truck you have got to be kidding this has got to be the slowest gas station in history!!!

New owners as of about two years ago, looks like they're trying to bring it out of the eighties. Sucks they have negative reviews from previous owners.

We won 150 dollars at tje video poker mashine inside shell and could not cash it in ,because tje cash mashine was out of order .
The clerk couldn t cash it in either shetold us that she dont have enough money to cash it in.
We should ve been made aware of this problem ,before starting to play at this location.
Thete was no sign and the clerk did not tell us, even that she said she knew that it was broken and she been cashing them all day, bit now she is oit of money.
It shoild ve been closed up as soon as she knew she cant cash out no more.
Now it will cost us extra mo ey i n order to come back tomorrow or when we get time .we are not from this area and will ha e to pay for extra gas .
This is a waste of time and money and should not be happening .

Sold a E-Cig that was broken to me and argued about giving me my money back. Then when I got my money back they rounded down to the nearest dollar because they aren't giving change back apparently? On top of that, gas is cheaper if you drive to sycamore. Will not be going back.

Anti gun establishment with no guns allowed in store or concealed carry allowed. Way out in the country and they put this up lol. Everyone I know won’t go here!  Take your liberal gas station back to Chicago.

Saw something that said there is water in the gas lines where we just filled up.. No one answered the phone when I called to make sure the problem was rectified.

Nicest people run this place and their restrooms are very clean! Will stop here often now!

I always prefer Shell, but this is one I'll definitely avoid. Sign on the door states no cell phone usage is permitted inside the store. But, I understand why now. When I got to my car I began drinking the Muscle Milk that I purchased. After I finished I realized the bottle had a sell by date of JAN 07 19. It's currently MAR 21 19. The cashier rang everything I bought as "Soda" and I bought four items so that sketches me out even more.

Been here a few times and the pumps run slower than sh!+ in 5 mins I’ve only pumped 1 gallon

The people that are running this establishment have good hearts and an incredible moral compass. My class ring was found at their store, and they reached out to my school, and are mailing it to me. Good people exist everywhere. Thank you!!

The pump wouldn't stay locked down so I didn't bother filling up. The bathroom was clean

About a month ago, I stopped here on my way thru Chicagoland. Filled up on fuel and then used one of the squeegees on-site to clean all the bugs off my windshield. That 2nd action would prove to be a costly mistake. You see, in using that squeegee I would come to realize later that I had carved up my windshield. Maybe there was something that was embedded in the squeegee? Either way, $1,000 for the windshield replacement/ $500 of which came out of my pocket. Long story short, I wouldn't use the squeegees provided by this gas station - or probably any gas station at this point....

they ok when their pumps are working lol go out every month. the manager/assistant manager  that work their are SEXY!!

This station always has some of the best prices in the Shreveport/Bossier area.

Open 24-hours.  Friendly clerks.  Decent restrooms.
