I came to buy some things for my house, I'm paying at the first checkout, and in front of me is a black man named Harrinson, he saw that I paid, and even so when I left he asked me for my ticket, I kindly gave it to him, but he He stayed outside watching for a while and he only asked me for the ticket. After a long time and many people leaving without asking him for the ticket, he asked another white boy for it, but even more people came out and he didn't ask them for the ticket. Even seeing that they pay... then he continues doing the same thing, only asking some whites or Latinos for their ticket, discrimination in this state is the order of the day.  In this case I don't know if it is discrimination or racism.  I tried to talk to a manager, but there was no one, they called a person to talk to and he never came, they called him twice and no, no one came.  Either you ask everyone for the ticket or you don't ask anyone!

It’s impossible to find the simplest items on this store. Or they don’t carry it. It’s so frustrating to walk in circles while there are 15+ employees walking around and they are so unapproachable! No one likes to be there - especially the staff! In the half dozen times I’ve unsuccessfully been I’ve never seen bags and half of the self checkouts are not working. The employees will point out they are broken and then get back on their phones. They should close this store and save everyone the headache.

I found that the food was fresh & hot, the price wasn't even too bad & service was fast & the employees were extremely nice & polite. I would come again. I do recommend. Thanks to you all & you all did a great job, McDonald's family!

I don’t come to this walmart often, I only stop by when I’m nearby. This store is unbelievable. Today I was in self checkout, and a man working here was hovering over me and watching my every move at self checkout. There was a man (older than me) in front of me who the man working didn’t even question. This happened a few months ago, a lady working there stopped me as I was walking out, and asked for my receipt as I was holding it in my hand with the item I bought.

Was accused of theft with not only being watched at self checkout the whole time but gave the lady the receipt with the time and date. Obviously, she watched me she should have already known. I was kind and understanding when she wanted to see the receipt as it's their job, it was after the fact of the accusing.  Had to return to retrieve a birthday card I had paid for and forgot, so I made sure to bring the receipt back in with me, and she came right back at me about rather I paid for my big item again, she wouldn't give me the card until I told her it was harassment and I'd take another step, she gave it to me and said have a nice day
I was not happy. So many ppl get accused because of how walmart wants to self checkout. 🙄  that was uncomfortable and unnecessary and made me feel very awkward.  I own my own business, so had a customer of mine saw that and it looks as though I was stealing. It really doesn't look great at all. So absolutely not a good place and sad that ppl gwt treated that way. I blame walmart for poor training .

Huge, well stocked Walmart with friendly staff and amazing skyline views. I visited here to get a few essentials and quickly discovered this store had a great selection of everything. It was so big I needed to ask for help a few times to locate things and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Checkout was quick and easy. Best of all, though, was the view from the spacious parking lot. Great place to get supplies and watch the sunset!

Great  Company, and enjoy the  work . Give them a call if you're  property needs an upgrade  Great  group of people.

Gas is the best price I've seen in years... I have on occasion timed my fillups to coincide with trips to Auburn (an hour from home) for this reason. It can be chaotic and a longer wait time at various times throughout the day, but it's a controlled chaos that most other patrons understand. As for the actual store, it's always pretty busy but I can't fault them for that. Regarding my visits, the store has been clean, well-stocked and staff are helpful and friendly. Automotive department is amazing!!

This location has a great variety of items to fulfill your everyday needs, grocery needs, clothing needs, baby needs and entertainment needs. Most of the staff is pleasant to be around, with a few exceptions. Some employees like to hover even though you're a good citizen who doesn't cause mischief. The management is seemingly nonexistent and rarely deals with problems directly. But, I can usually make it in and out of this location rather quickly and when you order ahead, they do a good job of having it ready ahead of time and getting it out to your vehicle in a reasonable amount of time. The store is clean. It can be rather crowded at times, but it's usually not the kind of crowded that tends to be too stressful. Wheelchair accessible. Van parking for wheelchair lifts. Plenty of parking overall. Positive experiences, about 8 of every 10 visits. (80%)

Target

This is one of the nicest targets I’ve been to. The parking lot was very large and  clean. There are lots of order pickup spots on the side. The store was very clean and well stocked. There were no lines up front. This was such a beautiful store.

I want to love the fact that Auburn has its own Target, finally!   However, because they seemingly wanted to save some money on the build out.  The floors and lighting seem to be original to the K-mart, which just makes the whole store more dingy and feels rundown even though everything else is just like Target.

Taget is over-priced! I mean it always was, but this is ridiculous! A thin men's sweater was $25 and the plus size section has hardly any merchandise. They wanted $25 for a canle too! Get real. There was one cashier on the weekend, and only 1 person working the coffee shop, which had about 15 people in line. Felt sorry for the barista!

Why does this target feel so different than others I have been in? I feel the store lacks merchandise. The shelves from day 1 of opening have been pretty slim. I have been in several times and they never seem to have what I am looking for, always out of stock! Direct reflection of someone not doing their job right! Come on you can do better.

I've never had a negative experience here, other than the fact that I end up leaving with $100+ worth of stuff whenever I go for just 1 thing lmao.

Excellent treatment by the staff, however on my last visit I no longer saw or have as much variety in products as in previous years. I attribute it to the pandemic and I hope that their sales improve and thus increase their inventory

Clothes, medicine, fun items, basic needs.  That sums up target.  This one was clean and when doing a evening Sunday run for some quick items to start my week, I found friendly staff, a human cashier, and so many choices.  Much bigger than the target I’m used to.

Have been calling Target for several days to check on a particular Seasonal candy but the phone just keeps ringing and never gets picked up. Several times over 3 days I tried calling non-stop for about 30 minutes each time for either the Front Desk or Food Department but couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. I had checked the website and it said the candy was in-stock and listed the aisle. Finally just drove over there and the spot on the shelf is empty. Was told that they hadn't gotten around to putting that candy on the shelf. Talked to the "manager" at the Front Desk about nobody answering the phone and was told that the phone hadn't rang for her entire shift. Seriously?!? The phone didn't ring for hours and she doesn't think that's strange??? Tried calling the South Portland Target a few times today and they don't answer the phones either. Incredibly pathetic customer service...

I am completely an utterly appalled. I cannot fathom why the Starbucks employees within target are not allowed to receive tips. Not only are these corporations under paying people and literally watching them suffer. They’re also telling them they cannot accept a tip. how does this accomplish anything and who the hell is in charge?
Deliberately, tearing down our economy, stupid. Whoever decided this should be charged with the falling of the United States.

This is absolutely the worst Target I have ever been to. There is always an extremely long line to check out with self checkout and 1 or no workers working the other registers. When I place orders for pick-up they are never ready on time and they do NOT answer their phones, none of them! It is impossible to get ahold of a human being at this store.

Answer your phone Target. Horrible. South Portland Target is so much better. Too bad they didn't have what we need In stock. Have South Portland train these people in topsham. I've called 5 separate times and rang for over 5 minutes. Wonderful.

Very neat store. Shelves were nicely restocked. Associates making sure aisles were looking nice and clean.
Found everything I needed at unbeatable prices, as always.
Their Puerto Rican bread is really good! Right next to the roast chicken by the main entrance. Check it out 👍🏻

I came in this morning for black Friday shopping and to start off: I have some issues socially, I ended up leaving a survey online that wasn't totally correct, I was upset this morning over a different issue and took it out on them. The Customer Service desk ladies handled everything very well, and were excellent today. I apologize to them, and hope that everyone enjoys their day 😊

Great Walmart great location and great employees. They are always nice and the greeters are the greatest. Minus one star due to lack of checkout lines open. I personally hate self checkout so that's a negative in my book.

An item wrong up wrong, the woman in self checkout cane over and corrected no questions asked. The store was clean and well stocked. It is honestly my favorite Walmart to got to in my area.

I posted recently to my experience with Walmart plus delivery service. Was doubled charged for a purchase on the 26th.  I canceled the order and received one of the charges back. I have spoke to 7 different representatives about this and most 9f them said something different each time. They explained it was on my bank side for the problem and they explained it was in Walmart side. Spoke to two different supervisors one telling me she found the problem and the money would be returned to me in 48 hours. The second told me the first supervisor was wrong and it could be up to ten days. Now I have to dispute it with my bank. The customer service is not knowledgeable when it comes to these matters. Was told my incident would be escalated but still no money returned. I received a comment from Walmart on my last post which directed me to do the exact same thing as before. Not to mention almost all the reps I spoke to basically said I did not understand what was going on!

Lowe's Home Improvement

Not totally isolated to this store... as a contractor I have run into issues at Lowe's where both their online database and their in-store  database do not actually represent what the store has.  I recently needed a cabinet part that only Lowe's sells.  It was unavailable at the Auburn store, so I was directed to the Brunswick store since every database showed it was in stock.   After arriving there I was told, no, they really don't stock this product and that I need to order it online.  When I quizzed the associate as to why they show it in stock, I was told the usual "don't know, we are short staffed, this is the Holidays, and people aren't doing their job" series of excuses.  Then was once again told to order online in the future in which she even chastised me for not calling ahead first.  Wait a second... the point for these stores to have online databases is so I don't have to call on the phone, sit on hold, and waist hours as an inept associate tries to find something they have no idea how to find.  In fact, I have had the scenario happen of calling and being told the store does not have the product (even though they do), but the associate was too lazy to go put his (or her) hands on it, and just wanted to get me off the phone by saying they don't have the product.

In this case I spoke to Ben, the store manager on duty, to complain.  He was nice enough but was absolutely unhelpful, and pretty much reiterated the same statements and sentiments the original associate I had dealt with told me.

2 stars is only because someone was kind enough to offer me help unprompted, and because of the curbside pickup option, otherwise it'd be one star. I showed up for a refrigerator water filter, after being pointed to the right direction, I checked the small display of about 30 filters in the appliance section and did not see what I needed. Rung the bell for assistance and the man the showed up said all they have is what's on display, he looked over the selection and gave up, handing me a card saying that I could order one online and pick it up from the store in three days. When I got to my car I checked the website and it showed that the part number I wanted was available right now, in the store. Not wanting to go back and forth with an employee again, I ordered it for curbside pickup and three hours later it was in my hand. Would've been nice to get it on the first trip and not waste an entire afternoon over it.

Great store hard too find good help.  They really need to hire more great employees like they had 2 year ago when you walked through the door and there was plenty of help.

Veterans Beware
On July 8th, my wife and I traveled 45 minutes from our home to attempt to find a countertop for our recently fabricated island. I have an account with Lowe’s as they provide service and a discount for those of us that served. As of today, they are not and I hope that my story will open your eyes to the complete lack of service, care, or compassion from this store and its leaders.

My wife and I went to Home Depot to comparison shop. We found something that we liked and asked about their lead time for fabrication and installation?  4 weeks to measure and 4 more weeks to final installation, so 2 months. My wife had called Lowe’s prior to our shopping experience and we were told that their lead time for measurements was 1 week and 4 to install, so 5 weeks total. The quote and time-frame would put that completion beyond that date.
When we arrived at Lowe’s we went back to the kitchen and counter-top design center and found the EXACT same countertop we wanted! Then, we hunted down an associate to get our order placed!  As she was putting in the information we asked her our two most important questions:
Q:What is your lead time and how long would this take? A:You will be contacted and your countertops will be measured within one week from 7/8/23.
Q:Will my military discount apply as the quote from Home Depot was less than their quote, but would be about the same once the discount was applied? A: Your military discount will be applied once they have a final total as this is not the final price due to the exactness of the measurements.
By 7/17/23, I had not received a phone call from Lowe’s to set up my appointment. At that time, I was told that the time-frame was NOT 1 week, but 4 weeks. I explained this was not what I was told on two occasions. The next day, I got the phone call from Granite Design. I stated that if it was going to be 4 weeks from that date, now we are actually at 6 weeks post purchase, not 4.

On 7/22/23, I went into the Lowe’s store. The customer service rep escalated the conversation to their Assistant Store Manager, Nick. I explained my situation to Nick and was curtly told he would do nothing further and good luck to me. Not one single apology, no compassion, nor empathy from Nick for the associate’s failure to provide me with good information. I again asked if there was anything they could do to keep my business and this order and he said no and walked off.  Joanne has been the ONLY Lowe’s associate who has gotten anything accomplished in a positive manner.

It was during the call with Reuben on 8/2/23 that I brought up the purchase price and application of the military discount to which Reuben informed me that the military discount did not apply.  I told him that I wanted to speak with a manager IMMEDIATELY.  I asked him who his boss was and he told me it was Chris Patterson. I was told that he was not available.  I then asked for the name of Chris’s boss, who is Ken, but that he was also not available.  I told Reuben that I wanted a leader to call me by the end of the business day.  I have yet to receive that call.
I called back on 8/8.  I explained that I had requested a call back from a store manager and had not received one to date.  Joanna explained that Chris was in the store and I requested a call back from him that day in attempt to resolve my situation.  No phone call from Chris.

At this time, I would advise ALL veterans to consider shopping elsewhere.  It is very evident throughout this entire process that I am just a number and that Lowe’s has no desire to keep my business. I cannot understand why a manager could not pick up the phone and call me, at least with an apology?  I also happen to be an officer of a veteran’s organization.  I will be discussing this interaction with ALL of my associates.  I also procure equipment for my staff that can be purchased at a big box home improvement store.  Where do you think I will be taking that business? It will take a LOT of convincing for me to ever step foot in a Lowe’s ever again.

Great customer service!  Employees actually know where items are and help to guide you.  It's also a pet friendly store.

Me and my son enjoy our target trips very much. We always look foward to going. I always find something when I go. My son absolutely loves the toy section. They do have a very big selection of toys. Their home decor and candles always get my attention when I go. They are a little over priced with their bedding and sheets/blankets. But everything else is fairly priced.

The curb side pick up is at their discretion and may be “closed” when you arrive and you will have to go inside to get your items. Make sure to always inspect all your items before you leave as well if you is the pick up service. I received and item with two tamper seals clearly ripped open, and part of the contents in the clear container was missing 🤦🏻‍♀️

Update: I was advised when the weather is “dangerous”, curb side is closed to protect employees ((but they can still collect carts))

We love our Target store in Augusta and the personnel are always helpful and friendly...my only thought was I was surprised that many shelves were empty and tons of boxes to be put away blocked the aisles...It was not a problem, per say, but I was surprised that on a Friday so much was still waiting to be put on shelves.  We were there a week ago or so on  Monday and the shelves were quite empty so I decided Monday's were not the right day to shop.....but we do love our Target...

Target Pharmacy in Augusta has the best staff that we have ever encountered!!  Leah is the sweetest, most competent pharmacist we have encountered all across this country! She listens!  And Nicole is also consistently helpful and polite.  Thank you for everything!

I love target but twice on my last visits only self checkout and yesterday only one checkout open.  Made me think they are turning into Walmart . Not happy.

A great location that has almost everything for your day to day needs. This store is always clean and it's pretty easy to find an associate to help you out if you need it. And so far, every associate that I've met has been really kind and helpful. A pretty good spot to shop.

I ordered delivery from Walmart and only received less than half my order. Yet they charged me ridiculous fees that I did not ask for. MY order was about 45 dollars so I was not to be charged for delivery so I did click for 3 hour for 5 dollars. I was charged 14.95 because they said my order was under 35 I believe. However, if they had sent my order as I ordered it would of been over that amount. I was also charged 6.99 and 4 dollars for tip. I didn't have an option to click that one but didn't mind. I called and talked to 2 different people and no one would help me they kept saying your order was under the amount for free. Yet I ordered enough for it to be if they had delivered the whole order. I feel very cheated. Most companies would of waived those fees due to the mistake. No more business from me I feel very cheated.

Not bad... usually quite busy, but a very large Walmart with elbow room. Stays well stocked with products. Hope you came for the self check out, because cashiers here are nearly extinct.

A decent Walmart,  but the store layout was dissimilar to other stores I have visited.  It felt as if you were funneled around the store and the isle markers seemed a bit crowded or different  from others I have seen. They did have what we were looking for. Or a similar product that was almost what we were looking for. One of the staff was very new and took time with the heldheld to find what he was looking for and never really did find it.  So we thanked him and asked someone else.

Was checking out and their machine gave an error, associate comes over and accuses me of putting stuff in my bag without ringing it up. I told her i scanned everything and to go back to the main page. What do you know, everything i scanned was on the list. She continued to give me an attitude and when i called her out for accusing me of stealing, she said she hadnt. I tried to talk to a manager but they just gave me a dumb look so i left my $500 christmas shopping on the register and walked out.

Maybe instead of accusing me of stealing you should hire some employees to work the register.
