I wish I got her name, we were there at twelve thirty we sat in the front on the south side at the back. It was the best service I have had in all my life and I didn’t get her name. I never had to ask for a thing. I can’t thank you enough for the best meal ever served!

Great area with many stores to buy stuff you don't need. Many restaurants and stripmall stores. Traffic is horrible in this area, so be careful.

Who doesn't like unlimited soup and salad. The food and atmosphere was awesome.  We'll be back again soon.

Always great shops for everyone in the family! Good restaurants to eat at! Highly recommend!

Shoe Carnival

My daughter and I came to get her a plain black pair of Crocs, but they wanted 59.99!
We just came from the mall & I thought $39 was a lot at Journeys, but journey's had a cute lil chain on them, at least.
Their Sketchers were $54 to $89.99! Men's sketchers were $90!
They had several sandal options, at full price still- in November. But didn't have many sneakers that were in style. They tend to have the same exact styles every single year.  Does their buyer get out in public to actually look at what people/teens are currently wearing?!  I would do that for them lol
I imagine if you were getting shoes for your family the BOGO option would be the way to go, but I have to wonder if they have higher prices on a single pair to compensate for the BOGO deals they run.
The employees left us alone, which I like since you can get your own shoes.

My family is super picky when it comes to shoes. We are almost always able to find something for each of them and good prices. Also have good sales.

My family visited the store due to my wife and daughter needing shoes. We had to do an exchange for my daughter because we picked up a size too big for her and my wife was hoping to purchase boots because of a BOGO sale. We were instantly greeted by staff, we were helped by friendly staff when we requested it, and the manager, Cayenne, was extremely nice to our family. My family is very appreciative of her because she was even able to help us out with a discount for my wife's shoes. My first time to the store and I was really impressed. My family has agreed that this will be our new shoe store from now on. Thank you, Cayenne, and for the rest of the friendly staff!

Harvest Roasting Distribution Center

My husband and I will seek out Sccoter’s for your coffee, tea, smoothies,  and not least of all the pleasant service we receive.    Unlike your drinks which are individually crafted and served with a smile, your breakfast sandwiches taste and are served like mass produced items. There is little or no care when serving them.  Frequently when they are served the bread has slid from the the eggs, cheese, it sticks to the paper wrapping creating a very unappealing item. Your beverages are worth 5 stars, your food items 2.  That is why I can only rate Scooter’s a 3. Thank you

Went to 78 and Dodge.  I was served a cold cup of coffee. After I informed the lady it was cold she said they don’t serve coffee this late in the day. 430pm. It was like I was either supposed to Take a cold cup of coffee or none at all. I have a feeling the girl was to lazy to make fresh coffee so she’s making stuff up to get out of it. After I questioned a coffee shop not making coffee she told me to get my coffee elsewhere with all of the nastiness she could muster mind you. If you want coffee after four go to Starbucks.

I am a huge Scooters Coffee fan. They have a fantastic selection of sugar-free flavors. The sugar free mocha is my favorite. The employees are friendly. I gave it 3 stars because the food is awful, expect the oatmeal. The cinnamon roll is passable. Every time I order the egg items, there is no flavor.
I want Scooters to improve their food offerings. I want to be able to give 5 stars. I’ll be glad to help.

I worked at a scooters location. The manager was the most unprofessional, rude, and off color person i have ever worked with. I was scheduled alone many times having to run the entire store by myself (i’m an 18 y/o girl). She insisted that she got to collect tips everyday, even if she didn’t help. The one time I didn’t give her tips i got in trouble and had to give her mine. She vaped in customers drinks, told me to lie to customers about what drinks we can make, and then give them something they didn’t ask for. I was not allowed to be sick, i had to come in even when i had a fever and was throwing up. Once I was throwing up blood at work, she wouldn’t let me leave because she had the more important matter of putting rocks in her yard that day. She made me quit my other two jobs to work full time for her, i worked full time for a while, then she hired a couple people her age. They bonded over having been in jail and being off color. One of them called a disabled person the R word under their breath after serving them. She gave them my hours and only had me working 25 hours a week, while she knew i fully supported myself and was saving up for college. The turnover rate is extremely high, I had been working there the longest and i had only been there for 6 months. She doesn’t train new employees (literally no set training process?) and fires them when they don’t catch on. She made many promises she never fulfilled. She is the scariest narcissist i’ve ever met. I hope the owner finds another manager soon, I feel awful for the kids that are still there. I know there have been many complaints made about her, i hope to see something be done about it soon. I love the scooters company, and i loved my job. That manager made it unbearable.

Went to a Scooters coffee shop that stops brewing coffee at 12 noon but closes at 8pm
Called corporate to inquire if that’s corporate policy.
The person said it might be up to each franchise….really???

Wild Bird Habitat Store

The owner is very knowledgeable, great place to learn about local birds

My son had so much fun picking and mixing his own bird seed. The owner was so helpful and educated us on birds. We even got a beautiful hummingbird feeder. They have a kids section too with books and gifts. Great service and better than Lowes, Menards, etc. Good prices, healthy seed, and great service.

Owners are so friendly and knowledgeable. Everything you need to attract birds to your yard is at this store. I was hoping to see a Flicker at our feeders, instead of just hearing them.  The owners mixed up a special mix and a few days later a Flicker was here! The seed at this store attracts a lot more birds  and a larger variety than the big box store seed.

Very knowledgeable, a great place to buy seed in bulk. Custom mixes for birds and different times of the year. I highly recommend.

I love chatting birds with LuAnn and Bing.  Wonderful owners, always have great bird advice (and music). ❤️

Kiddie Academy of Elkhorn

I cannot attest to the actual childcare at this facility and I assume it must be phenomenal because it is impossible to get in here. I put my son on the waitlist right when we found out we were pregnant. I didn’t need childcare until he was 4 months old (so later than most families) and they said they couldn’t guarantee a spot at that time but could most likely for a few months later. Then I followed up just recently and now they reported they don’t have a spot for him until he will be over 1 year old. I understand prioritizing internal families but I’m not sure how any new family could possibly get in. I also feel like even internal families should be required to notify them of their needs with a new child at a reasonable point (12 weeks of pregnancy) so the rest of us aren’t being strung along. If you are a new family and looking for infant care just move on and find another center.

Mu husband and I are relocating here from California, and I was hoping to enroll my son into this facility. I understand that there is a wait list, but neither Courtney nor Ashley was very helpful in suggesting other places to take my child. They were not even knowledgeable about other facilities around the town of Elkhorn.. unfortunately, even if they had room, I don't think we would send my son there after being treated with disrespect.

We transferred from a different daycare that we were not satisfied with at all. Our son has thrived here the past few years and the teachers and staff are all amazing. We cannot be more thankful to have a place we trust and a wonderful curriculum.

Kiddie Academy takes a hands on approach to individualizing to each students needs within a classroom setting. Our core classroom teachers were great with our child and really helped them open up and thrive. When we speak to our friends with kids at other centers, it’s always a clear reminder why we chose Kiddie Academy. The Director at our center, Jessica, was very hands on and extremely knowledgeable in her field. She is a wonderful asset to Kiddie Acadamy.

We have been super happy with our experience since transitioning our son to KA less than a year ago. He just turned two and has already learned how to count from 1-10, his ABCs, colors, and shapes. We can tell that they really work hard with the kids and teach them different things throughout the year. Every day he’s coming home and surprising us with having learned something new. He also LOVES going there and even asks to go to “school” on the weekends to see his friends.

Wax Omaha

Leah is amazing! Never had an issue making an appointment since she has fairly open availability. I did my first Brazilian here and I won’t be getting them anywhere else! Prices are very reasonable also.

I've been here a couple times in the last month and they are always able to get me in on the same day and so nice! Ive been getting my eyebrows waxed for 15 years now and I have never had anyone take as much time and care into shaping them and making me look my best! They are always so professional and keep great conversation throughout my time there. I don't think I will be going anywhere else! Also I would really recommend any of their other services and LOVE how inexpensive it is to have my eyebrows tinted. So glad I found this place!

Got my eyebrows waxed on the same day I called, I didn’t even need to make an appointment. Once I got to there, I didn’t have to wait at all, they took me straight back. The facility was very clean and nice looking. The girl who waxed me was very nice, conversational, and professional. She did a great job on my eyebrows! She took her time to make sure that every stray hair was plucked and my eyebrows were shaped perfectly. I will be coming here every time for all my waxing needs! It was worth the drive from downtown!

Always the best when i go in there. Low wait time. (Pre covid) now apt based. This place never skips a beat. Everyone is nice, and they know what they are doing.

Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza

Service here is always friendly and workers are quick and consistant in quality of their work.
I wasn't overly thrilled with the pizza as I paid 50 bucks for 3 which is about at least double what I would have paid at my normal pizza places.
But part of it could have been my fault as we had bought them a day ahead of when we needed as we had to work the following day. Probably should have frozen them to keep them optimal?
They just were kind of bland and soggy after baking. Didn't think one day would make that much difference bit maybe it does.

First time ever buying Papa Murphy's take and bake.
Their XLNY is absolutely humongous. Well, it was plenty huge for two people.
Not a fault of Papa Murphy's, but had I known how huge the pizza would be, I probably would have gotten two small ones. It wouldn't fit in my convection oven so I had to cut it in fourths.
Still tasted amazing!
And their cheesy garlic bread with some of the best I've ever had in my life.

Customer service is lacking- It was fine if you don't mind being rushed and feeling like you are a bother by asking a question. The people making the pizza were fast.
Other locations I have been to in Ks and elsewhere the staff were friendly, helpful, and nice. Maybe just caught this location on an off day idk...

Very fast and efficient. We ordered a couple calzones (which are AMAZING by the way) on the way to the restaurant. The website told us to expect them to be ready in half an hour, and we showed up 13 minutes after placing the order and it was already put together and ready. They were intending fast and it made our dinner that much more convenient. Not to mention while baking the calzones, they smelled amazing! Highly recommend!

Their pizzas taste great and I love how you can cook them at home so they come out of the oven hot and fresh!!

StretchLab

Hello! My flexologist was CJ. He was very knowledgeable and gave me a great stretch. I liked how he educated me with what he noticed I had going on and what he would suggest to help me out. I will definitely be returning.

Have been to Ali and CJ. Both awesome to get my stretch on!! Really helps to stretch after having sciatica earlier this year.  Try it—you’ll love it!

Wonderful first stretch!  Stacy was great at explaining everything, the why and what she’s doing.  I can really tell I’ve been stretched and can feel it.  Would recommend Stacy.

My main flexologist is Chris and he is absolutely fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable and able to communicate that to me as his client in a way that is understandable. I’m addition to improving mobility through my scheduled stretches, Chris provides homework for me to do when I’m not there and this has significantly helped me to stay healthy and prevent injury. I do the 50 minute stretches due to the amount of work I needed done and this is a good amount of time. There are 25 minute stretches available if you need something quicker or more affordable. All in all, I’ve enjoyed my time at Stretchlab and would recommend people to try it out.

My daughter just turned 8 and is a gymnast, dancer, swimmer and tumbler. But her biggest struggle has been flexibility because it just doesn’t come naturally. So, we came across stretchlab. I thought we have tried everything, from paying hundreds of $ for private lessons, to me trying to help to YouTube videos.
Anyway, we started just over 1 month ago for 1x a week for 25minutes. Since then she has gained a better left (good leg) split, got her right (bad leg) leg split, and gained a lot on her middle splits. Her hips have gained more mobility as per the scan. She loves coming, it never hurts, she raves and has been literally begging me to leave a 5⭐️ review. We have had a few different flexologist and they have all been great, friendly and helpful! 10/10 recommend.

Sylvan Learning of Omaha

I do not have enough words to express how wonderful this Sullivan learning center is. I was told my son was falling behind and I choose to take a step I will NEVER regret. They have taken my son's confidence from "I can't read" to "I love school" and proficiently reading at his grade level and excelling. For anyone considering getting their child special help outside of school this is the ONLY place that will give you what they promise. It was worth every single penny! You are NOT falling into a lie or money scam. The family at Sullivan is so loving and supportive. Britney does a great job running a very professional and caring staff. I wish I could give 10 stars! Again I am beyond impressed in the success this has opened for my son.

Beyond great experience we have had with our son on his reading. He was struggling to keep up with classmates and now feels very comfortable and we can see a drastic improvement (so can his teacher). The staff is very transparent and helpful. Scheduling is also very flexible and easy to move around. Definitely worth the money to invest in our son's education here.

Working with Sylvan has been nothing less than amazing. The staff is very knowledgeable, patient and friendly. My sons confidence and reading is soaring and I am forever grateful for Brittney as she helped us through the process advised of all types of payment plans and eventually my son and I submitted an essay and he was selected as this years full ride scholar recipient. I will always recommend Sylvan Learning Center

The teachers are amazing! They do a great job of keeping my son motivated and looking forward to class. The prize selection keeps him wanting to achieve his goals every day. He truly loves spending time with his classmates and teachers. I’m so thankful for the knowledgeable staff who make this a positive experience! We continue to see improvement so I can’t say thank you enough to Sylvan of Omaha for all the additional support.

Update 11/1/23- my daughters both come here for homework help. It was mainly for my oldest daughter, who is very hesitant to let anybody help her with her homework. They are so patient understanding and kind. They established a relationship with her super quick and she lets them help her out! I never knew homework help existed until I found them and I am so glad. I highly recommend them! The teachers and the owner are great!

Great program and everyone is so helpful!!!
