Excellent selection of items, super nice staff, and very clean restroom!

Beware! Yesterday September 27, 2022 I went into cash a paper lottery ticket at 8 o’clock in the morning and an older Asian woman intentionally took my lottery winnings. I contacted the Denver Police Department as well as the Colorado lottery because not only did she steal money from me she is out of compliance with the state Because she intentionally camouflages the prize winning display. This woman is evil because she pride herself on calling out thieves by printing their pictures on the front door of her business yet she is stealing somebody who came in and treated her with respect and I smiled at her and she took for me.  I’ve already been told by the Colorado lottery that my winnings will be mailed to me and they will be dealing with this but I’m telling you folks, I get the feeling that this happens all the time and we never hear about it and the police never do anything about it. If you go into a store and there’s no self check to tell you how much you actually one don’t use them and report them.

We need more people in the world like the family that operates this Shell station. They are true professionals, kind, caring, and diligent in their service. Could not ask for a better local gas station & convenience store. Great selection of snacks, beer/liquor, tobacco, and everyday necessities.

P.S. to anyone complaining about their gas prices - they are located directly off a major interstate, so obviously they are going to charge a premium for their prime location & convenience factor. Turn your brain on.

Do not use the air pump machine at this gas station, went and used it and it said it was $1.50 the next day I got a “tip” added to the total of another $0.25. I’m not upset about the $0.25 it’s the point that if they do this every time someone is using the air pump they are gonna steal a lot of money from people just trying to put air in there tires. Will never return!

I’ve been coming to here for years now and the staff is always so friendly and helpful! They have a great selection of items as well.

*edit* The people here purchase SANTIAGOS burritos and only sell half to the public. The older men continue to hide the burritos under the papers in the warmer. When myself and other customers take those, he refuses to sell them and says “they aren’t for sale”. Absolutely ridiculous, buy them for yourselves then and keep them out of sight!!! I am absolutely sick of the ignorance and inadequate service here!! I gave them a second chance only to see them ripping SANTIAGOS off as well as their own customers. SAD PLACE!!!

People running this store are nice but extremely incompetent. Waited in a line of 13 people today.

Reasonable pricing. The guy that always works there is chill. Every time I'm in here its always a super fast trip.

Excellent convenience store! Their bathrooms are clean as is the storefront. They have the best fountain drinks south of Denver. It has the perfect consistency of syrup to carbonation ratio. And they have plenty of pumps with high clearance so there is always availability to gas up any size vehicle.

I'm a frequent customer there. Practically always friendly staff unless there is something going on, and then they are absolutely attentive/regarding to others. Lately this place has never been more clean, FIFO-ed, and organized. My only wish is that they have more deli/ready to eat products. Cheers guys!

Chick with heart tattoos on her hands has got some ego problems. Was very rude, she didn't tell me how much the charge was or how much change I was getting back then she also tried to short change me. I dont care if its gotta all be paid in pennies you don't short the customer..

My son went in to buy snacks and the man said they were closed and made him leave, but yet a few people walked in right after him and he allowed them to shop I guess it's based on the color of your skin with this store.

Count your change if you pay in cash, if you pay with a $20 they'll try to give you change for a $10. This place has thieves working the register, I'll never be back and I'll definitely be in touch with corporate.

Pumps and card readers are constantly broke. Staff is less than helpful. Can’t wait until the new gas station opens. Maybe the competition will give this place a much needed kick in the pants.

Not much to say, it's a gas station. Pump equipment is updated with secure card payments. The inside is clean and well stocked with typical convince store fare. Staff is friendly. My kids always beg me to go there and buy Icees.

I seem to always find Shell to have the lowest gas prices in the area and work with one of the higher quality gas stations in Erie.

Would rate a 0 if I could. Been coming here for a week and buying the same frozen drinks. Store clerk double charged me on my drink today. Wouldn't make a price change since this wasnt the first time I had purchased these and had been being charged wrong before. Instead started to argue with me and told me it wasnt his fault he wasnt the one who was miss charging me last week. Horrible customer service

This place ripped me off. This morning  i bought 2 monster for $7 something, is what I thought. Got home and now I have an almost $10 charge and another one for $15+. When I was paying the cashier scaned a different monster when I was paying. So I asked, weren't the buy one get one free. Which he said, they are buy 2 get 1 free. So I went and got my free one, but that cashier would've never said anything. Now I need to call my bank and try to get this figured out.

The pump did not stop when my tank was full. The gas poured out all over my car and the employee would not help me at all. My car reeks of gas and I simply asked for a car wash and he refused and just said “I don’t know.”

Using the fuel rewards program, I received an e-mail for 20 cents off a gallon, to be used on the 21st of August. When I  went to this location I  was told that they do not participate and that my card does not work at their location. Well, I will not be going here ever again! It's a shame because I have been coming here for years.

Car designers should consider a delivery/taxi/uber driver seat option with a port-a-potty resivior for the recent movement towards non-existent/restricted bathroom/toilet/defecation facilities in the Denver metro area from local gas stations and restaurants.

This is, by far, THE WORST gas station in the area. Unfortunately I live close and I've been several times. Never again, even if that means pushing my car by myself 8 miles uphill in a blizzard while being attacked by bees. Thank goodness the other stations arent that far, ha. The guys who get paid to 'work' here were so disrespectful and unhelpful it brought me to tears. This is not the first time theyve been terrible and demeaning to me. Today I had money, I was polite, I downloaded the app so I could pay through the app. I needed the store number. That's it! I went in just to get that and make sure I was doing it correctly. No line, nobody in the store but me and the 2 guys who work there. 30 seconds of kindness and/or the bare minimum in customer service skills are not found at this location.

Be careful here with their gas prices. Stopped in today to fill up gas and advertised same as every other gas station on the intersection. At the pump e85 was as advertised at $2.89 or so. Then 87 spiked up to $4.09. Never seen a gas station have that big of a difference, just pay attention to what price you’re actually paying at the pump. First photo is at shell, second is at a gas station across the street, same day. I won’t be stopping here anymore.

Extremely busy but fast paced, extensive selections of various items when stopping roadside on long trips for essentials.

Friendly staff most times, however as with any business this fast paced environment is potentially  sketchy there are bad apples hired that are extremely rude whether you are doing something warrenting that sort of dispicable, degrading behavior or not.

Tons of other businesses nearby that cater to NUMEROUS other needs, almost the perfect little town and a great business to be a part of this prolific community! 💕

The Burger King was fast and courteous. Food and fries hot and fast. A little better on the service and would have been real nice. The pumps were clean. Now the bathroom, let's just say it was having a bad day??? Nice little station.

Typical Shell gas station, great if you need a quick bite, there is a Burger King attached. If you need to use the bathroom- Avoid at all costs!

Decent gas station.
Most of the time there is water for washing windows and windshields.
Employees are nice enough...not overly but at least they are not rude.
Bathrooms are clean.

Shell provides excellent service as a gas station and shop. The refueling process is efficient, and the shop offers a diverse range of products. Staff is friendly, ensuring a positive experience. A convenient stop for both fuel and essentials on the go.

Don’t come here if your looking to get some snacks late at night. Though it’s 24/7 the owner doesn’t keep his doors open. Just go to 711 down the street at that point

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They stole my 30 dollars. I prepaid 40 dollars on my DEBIT card used my pin. They stopped my pump at 12.22. When I went in the man even said he stopped it and refused to start it. And tells me thay the money will be credited on my account the next day. Well it wasn't. And they will not give me back my refunded change. They basically stole from a single mother that is the only money I had for gas to get my kids to and from school. I will be bringing the police in later today tho

Coffee isnt fresh and taste more like flavored water. It is 5:30 a.m. by the way.
One of the coffee dispensers was out completely. You could tell nothing around the coffee area had been stocked or wiped down from the night realistically even the day before.
Needed to get air for the tire. The machine takes quarters only and we were 4 short. Even buying items inside he refused to give us the an accurate amount of change for the machine on their property.
Went back in to buy a couple other things and he shorted me on change. Too busy on the phone.

A very Dirty 7-11 questionable customers. Cops are oftentimes here and it's not to purchase anything. Not even they would get coffee or donuts here. 2023 shooting occurred. Small parking lot. Drug abusers and drunks shop here. Drug sales can be seen in parking lot and sidewalks entering store. Thefts from cars. Shop lifters paradise. Staff don't wash their hands before serving or making food. Customers take sink baths in the bathroom. ATM is not accessible if you are in a wheelchair or have issues with walking. This is where they store extra water by the case. Shady customers watch how much money you take out of the ATM. I would not leave children unattended in this store.

I tried to pay for gas at the pump and it wasn't working. I walked inside and asked the attendant why the gas wasn't working. She became hostile, rolled her eyes and said there are other customers she had to help. She told me to go somewhere else. This person does not know how to handle customers. She should be fired. Please spend your money elsewhere.

Hey yo, watch out the Shell on Wadsworth and 52nd is pricing gas at 3.69 and charging you 4.79 and straight stealing!! We went in told them hey y'all overcharge and they were like so...no resolution or fixing the problem isn't this illegal? False advertising?

This is the only gas station I go to in the area because Sonia and the gentleman who works at night. They're incredibly professional and get me back on my way super fast.

Had the cashier Asher charge me for $20 in gas and utterly refuse to turn the pump on stating I hadn't paid even when showing him my receipt. Go elsewhere.

Agree with other reviews, but compared to the other local gas stations this one is a gem. When the guys are working that store is spotless. Reminds me of the old days how much those guys give a damn. Also they got nostalgic snacks and good ice.

Stopped in to buy a beer. I handed the guy my ID and he tried to scan the barcode on my ID. It would not scan and he said he could not sell me beer with out scanning my ID. I told him to just read the date on the front but he would not do that and said he could only scan the ID and checking the date does not work. Every place I go I have never had someone say that with out scanning the ID they can’t sell beer.

Bad car wash for $15 car was just dusty, ran through the car wash and looked worse streaky and still dirty!

This place has become a dump! The previous owner and the one before that took great pride in their business. They had friendly staff, clean restrooms, and a well stocked store. Lately the place has been dirty, poorly stocked, the cashiers are sullen and unfriendly. They speak very little and very poor english. I don't know what happened to the previous staff but this store is now totally unacceptable! Take your business elsewhere, this station does not deserve it!

WOW, the car wash at this station is absolutely dreadful. I spent $13 on the "Top Dog" wash and my car looks like it got rained on and then dried in the sun. It actually might look WORSE than when I drove into it. The only difference I can notice from before hand is that my car smells like toxic candy now. Don't waste your money. I'm only giving 2 stars because the lady inside was very nice...

This is very horrible place to stop , the worker name fusum, old black man wearing glasses if you see him just be careful,  he have lots of anger problems he don’t care or respect customers , try to pick fight with customers talking very rude and unprofessional and also he say nobody is above him , he can do anything he want,  shell corporate can’t do nothing on him and also he don’t care customer complaint to shell. Lots of anger issues with this man if there is no camera in the store I don’t know what will happen so be careful if you stop there.

The vacuum ate my money and the attendant was extremely rude, almost to the point of yelling, when I informed him. I was perfectly calm and polite about things, but he kept raising his voice at me. This station needs a new attendant and if the vacuum is out of order and eating peoples’ money, at the very least put a sign on it.

Owner is super rude, gave me a loud "jesus christ!" When I asked gor quarters to use at his air pump, just go to circle K across the road

Car wash has eaten my money multiple times and absolutely no mercy shown from the attendant. Go across the street instead.

It really has to take a lot for me to give a bad review. Its irritating when public restrooms are closed because I drive 150 to 200mi a day. I really depend on public restrooms. Walked in this shell on August 10th 2020 10:45am had to ask three times for the restroom key because the lady cashier had the phone glued to her face.

Finally she said no and resumed talking on phone. Terribly managed and you could probably blame the owner for that. I will always from now on henceforth pass up this shell!!! I wish they had negative ratings cuz they would get a negative five!!!
