Petes Pizza and Bakehouse

We had slice cheese pizza which was okay. The size was perfect for dinner. We also had chicken calzones which was really good, specially the marinara sauce. Cheese fries was okay. Service was great too. Food is worth the money and it’s cheaper too.

Had a great time here. Came with a large group and service was fast and excellent. Pizza is great, both the thin crust and the stuffed, and they have slices as big as your head. What more could you want!?

WOW, I could not have imagined 2 locations of the same pizza place being so different in quality. I tried out the Granville location last night as we just moved closer to that neighborhood and was honestly incredibly disappointed. The pizza was semi cold upon arrival, and I feel like it wasn't cooked all the way as it was still soft/chewy on the bottom for how thin it was. Also, since when has a medium pizza been less than a foot? Our pizza was around 11'' after measuring. Their version of a 'margherita pizza' were just thin cold slices of large tomatoes on top. It was quite bland and overall I am just bummed out that I paid $30+ when I have truly had better $8 frozen pizzas.

The young man who works there is very rude. I remember one time I ordered a chicken parmigiana. I brought it back because they added bread to make it look like a sandwich instead of a dinner entire. I told the young man, and he turned around and walked away with an attitude. And I've seen him act nasty in other instances too. The restaurant management needs to teach these college kids how to be respectful to customers.

We have been coming to Pete's for years but have recently been quite disappointed in the changes in quality and price. This is the family sized pizza we ordered for take out. No toppings or cheese on any of the outer slices. Over $30. They apparently now charge an extra fee for paying with a credit card. Not impressed at all.

What amazing bakery this is! I visited 2 times in my 1 week stay in Chicago. First time the server was awesome! Everything was warmed well and given. Second time the server was not good, everything came cold. They have a great collection and location is great too! My favourite was almond croissant and bun filled with curried potatoes!

My wife and I were in town for a concert and decided we needed something sweet. We decided on Paris Baguette and were pretty happy with that decision.
As she was getting ready for the show, I went down and when I walked in, I saw it was a serve yourself place. You get a tray with wax paper and some tongs and go to town choosing what you want out of their cases.
I got a slew of pastries for us to eat, both for the evening snack and for the morning's breakfast. We got a strawberry and pastry cream filled croissant, a fruit and cream pastry, and a slice of chocolate and cream filled cake.
They were all delicious! The croissant and pastry had the same pastry cream and it was tasty! The cake was light with thinly sliced strawberries and Chantilly cream in between each layer.
Overall, if we were to be in the area, we would definitely be back for desserts!

This is decent French patisserie and bakery. In our first visit we tried 4 items from the bakery section and we enjoyed them. If I could, I would rate this place 4.5✨️

First time going to this bakery cafe and I am in love! There were so many delicious looking baked goods! I wish I can eat all of them! They have asian inspired and classic baked goodies! They also have savoury items. Their black tea was so good! The atmosphere and decor of the bakery is bright and inviting! Love ❤️ I would have given it a 5 star review but the cash register person added an extra baked good charge on my bill. Good thing I caught the display and noticed the extra charge. Be sure to get a receipt and check your bill. I know a lot of people don’t want to get the receipt but this is the 2nd time in Chicago that I was charged extra. Anyways, other than that, it was a great place to enjoy a tea and baked goods!

The pastries are absolutely amazing here! The croissants, the Danish pastries, the cheese twist and so much more. The price is a bit high as you will pay about $4 per pastry and if you get 2 breads and coffee that's about $13 with taxes but the flavors are so well balanced. Definitely not too sweet which is the right way of doing desserts. Give this place a try and you will love it.

Royal Tea – Boba and Poké

I have never had boba tea and I can see all the hype behind this! The tea is one flavor and the boba is a burst of another that flatters the tea so its very delicious! Their salads are very filling and I am not a salad person but it was quite deliecious and filling for a late evening out.
The ice cream is made on the spot and I loved it!

I ordered a poke bowl and drink combo. The pokebowl was delicious! I asked for a recommendation for the drink and they recommended the taro strawberry. It was also just as amazing. The staff was very friendly and service was quick! The place was also nice and clean.

We ordered the Matcha Boba Milk Tea , Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea and the Chocolate Ice Cream Milk Tea and the chocolate ice cream milk tea stole the show!! The other milk tea's flavor wasn't strong and Boba wasn't sweet, they were ok. I will definitely try something else next time and some food!

It was just me and then another lady and we had to wait like 15 minutes. Boba is easy to make and shouldn't take that long

Boba was good tho, tapioca was soft and not hard like when we tried it at the dyer location at crave. That's why I was hesitant to come here.

Stopped in for the first time and really enjoyed the variety they have to offer. Ordered a few different items and everything was great. The place was very clean and the staff was nice.

POKE-MAN

The food is amazing. I strongly recommend trying their ramen if you're looking for delicious authentic ramen close to home! I typically eat here at least once a month. Would highly recommend. Hibachi is delicious and all the Boba is awesome too.

This place is absolutely the best I've had. It's not only fresh but delicious. My daughter and I were crunched for time. But when we took a little bite our knees got weak and we had to take a seat and finish it. The smoothies were out of this world good! The service was absolutely amazing. The prices seem high, but if you think about it.... it's really not. If you. It one sushi roll anywhere else you are going to pay almost $10. And that's about 3 1/2 rolls worth they put in the bowl. So you are coming out a lot better. It was so clean and nice.
I would totally recommend, whether it's for lunch or even for a meal. It's very conveniently located for those of you who may short on time.
And before I forget, it's not premade. You get to pick and choose each and every item.

I'm so glad I stopped here.  Wanted to try a new place and the owners were so very friendly and desirous to make the costumers happy and have  genuine enjoyment in making the delicious food  and serving it happily to the costumers.  One of the best Experiences I've had in any restaurant   actually and the hibachi steak with rice and veggies is TOP NOTCH (As are there milk tees😋!!!)!!!!

I hope to be back again soon!!!

Their Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea is by far the best drink to me I've had ( Matcha ,Taro, Oolong etc) but the flavor wasn't strong and prices went up some. My daughter likes their fruit teas and slushies. When I want something simple I like their plain fried rice for about $5 also it's not on the menu but you can order it and it comes with a cup of yum-yum sauce. I add extra scallions and eggs to my rice. It has a peppery flavor to me . I had the chicken hibachi and it was flavorful .

Thoroughly impressed!

On this particular cold, dreadful Valentine's evening, we decided to treat ourselves to Poke-Man for the first time.

We ordered a salmon and fried rice hibachi, tonkatsu ramen, three different teas, and a smoothie.  All of it was simply gorgeous.   Generous portions came freshly prepared and packed with care.  The drinks were almost too pretty to drink!  I really appreciate the cups they come in.  They're just the perfect way to transport such drinks.  No lie, we ordered bubble tea from one of the other places once and it arrived in a totally flimsy cup which had exploded in the bag, apparently.

The salmon was perfectly cooked, the fried rice was on point.  Don't even get me started on the yum-yum sauce.  My sister said she enjoyed her ramen.

Definitely the best bubble tea in town that I've found for sure.  We will definitely be back here, and I wish I could shove more food in my gullet because I can't wait to try the poke bowls!

McDonald's

If I could give 0 stars I would. And that would only be from the horrible and rude service we got today. My family came in and ordered and when we got our food, some things were missing and we didn’t have sauce. That’s okay we had a big group, we went up to the counter and showed our receipt and told the manager what we were missing. She proceeded to have an attitude with us saying we were lying about missing food and made us PAY AGAIN TO GET IT. She also griped at us for asking for more KETCHUP???  I have never in my many years of customer service seen such a terrible worker. Do not go here if this lady is working and I hope the higher ups see this! Photo attached.

The staff were friendly and efficient. They were out of Honey Mustard and they don’t fill up the fries container. I thought they might have fallen into the bag, but no!

Drove thru to get a quick lunch for 4 of us. Person handing us our food was not happy with life. When I said we didn't need a drink carrier, she said she had to for multiple drinks. When I tried to hand the carrier back so she could reuse it instead of me directly putting it in the trash, she was super rude and visibly rolled her eyes at me. (Thanks lady with side of your head shaved with long bread. You gave my family a great laugh for the day with how sad you must be.) The food order was incorrect as well. We had 1 drink wrong, dipping sauce was different than what we asked, and got fries we didn't order. This location needs help.

Worse service in any McDonalds I’ve ever been.
Cook staff were extremely slow and had poor attitudes. Servers were running around handing out wrong orders. We stood there and waited forever while they took care of all their friends getting them right out in no time flat. McDonald’s needs to step in and straighten this place out or shut it down.

Open at 5, placed order at 520, still has the lights off and they ran and hid, you see them head to the back. No one answer at the drive thru call on the phone and they said our system is down. Can't cancel our order. $25 food . So scre w this McDonalds.
Hire people that work. So tired of businesses operating like this.

The Parlour Waffle and Coffee House

This business is now called The Parlour and they're redoing it inside and out with a black and white modern theme. Ice cream was yummy and prices were great! $2 for a single scoop on a cup! Definitely more flavors than Blue Bunny has in the grocery store. With our party of 5 we tried Pirate's Treasure, Mango, Rainbow sherbet, Raspberry sherbet, Lemon bar, Chocolate, and Peanut butter cookies and cream.

The coffee and ice cream selection is just amazing! I would definitely recommend it! 10/10!❤️❤️❤️

Zen Poké

Zen Poké is a hidden gem in the Purdue Memorial Union. They have Poké bowls with various options for Protein, including Tofu for vegans/vegetarians. Some of the best toppings you can get are Kimchi, Green onion, Edamame beans, corn and seaweed. The sauces they have are delicious as well. One bowl will fill you up for a long time, because the serving size is pretty good. Moving on, the Boba drinks they offer are yumm. The Brown sugar treasure and Strawberry dirty milk are some of the best Boba I have had! If you're looking for a filling and delicious meal, do make your way here (They accept Meal swipes as well) and you'll leave with a full stomach.

I purchased the same Sriracha tofu bowl for months from you guys without any issue. It was always very good. Unfortunately, after buying and consuming yesterday, I became very sick yesterday with stomach cramps and other "less beautiful" symptoms. It was the only meal I had for the day so I'm quite certain about the cause. It is also the first time in five years I became this sick with fast food. I don't know what went wrong. You might want to check on the food quality, storage and handling. It's only veggies, rice and tofu, I should not have become sick with this 😭

While in town attending a class on campus for the FDA, we didn't have transportation to take us off campus to eat so we ventured into this little on-campus food hall. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had poke options and ordered my go-to poke choices. OMG. So, so good. Everything was fresh, well portioned, outstanding.

They have a very limited menu, but you can get boba here with Purdue dining dollars! The brown sugar milk tea was very sweet even with 25% sugar, but delicious.

This is a hidden gem of sorts.  It’s tucked away in the union building at Purdue.  It’s strictly counter service that employs Purdue students.  I ordered the classic Hawaiian Tuna Poke bowl.  The rice was warm and the toppings were cold and generous. The sauce was strong and flavorful.  I wish that I would have taken a picture as portions were quite large.  2 people shared the bowl making the cost of 12.95 reasonable or enough to put away for another meal.  The mango drink I ordered was tasty it had lots of mango chunks with a reusable cup, although a little pricey.  I asked for half sweet and it was still too sweet.  I had a very difficult time understanding the students that were working as they spoke very broken/limited English.  I wish Lafayette/west Lafayette had more places like this outside of Purdue as it’s not convenient unless it’s someone that is on campus and near or in the union building.

Pokémoto

I was excited to try this new place and it did not disappoint! It is different for sure but that is what I love. I enjoyed the [healthy] filling salad I was able to order. Between my husband and I we tried the salmon, tuna, and shrimp and a lot of toppings. Everything was fresh and it was nice to try new flavors! We had some samples of boba tea and it was really good too! The little boba bubbles(?) were fun. I will be back! (I actually finished eating before thinking to take a picture, so that was a friends bowl... and I want to go back and get it too.)

Generous portions and helpful staff. My wife and I can easily make two meals out of a large bowl. It's rare that a restaurant hits all three of my dining criteria; tasty, healthy and relatively cheap. Johnathan was especially helpful.

I got the tuna bowl with pretty much everything including the hot mix of three suggested sauces, mango, radishes, edamame, masago & tobiko - it was one of the best things I've eaten in a while!!! I am not sure why I would eat another sushi roll when I can eat this!  I wish they would add more vinegar & sugar to the sushi rice as it was a bit dry and of course I skipped the fake crab, but I will definitely be back!

I was so excited to try Pokémoto, especially after the Hawaiian Poké place I used to frequent regularly closed. However, I am severely disappointed, and can't believe how much it cost for a build your own salad and a build your own poké bowl. We ordered larges and neither bowl was full, it was half of the bowl if even.
They use pickle tongs to pick up the ingredients, which meant I found maybe two pieces of mango in my poké bowl. They barely put any of the dressing on, and to be honest I didn't even see any of the tempura flakes on my bowl. The salad had barely any dressing as well, and barely any chicken. I'm not exaggerating there was probably a soda bottle lid worth of chicken. The girl who took our order kept saying we wanted three poké bowls, despite stating multiple times we wanted a salad and a poké bowl.
The order had to be repeated multiple times before it was understood what we were ordering. The manager even came up, and asked what we were getting, and didn't say a thing about how little food we had or the non existent toppings. By time it was all said and done, it was not worth the hassle of saying anything to them. I really hope that Pokémoto works out their issues, because their food was actually not bad and they have real potential. However, I can go anywhere else in town and get more food for a lot less money.
I will say their bubble tea is actually good however, I do think $5 is a little pricy for a small bubble tea. You can get bubble tea at Noodle Bowl for $3.50 and it's really good! I can't remember if it's the same size or larger, but I recommend it.

So delicious! Everything is so fresh and the colors make a beautiful dish! The portions were big and the flavors were so good. There are so many  protein, toppings and crunch options to choose from. I love that you can custom design your meal and the options are unlimited. Im so excited Oxford has a poke option in town.
Even my picky eaters created bowls they loved ~ kid friendly is a win!
The Boba teas are amazing too. If you haven’t tried Boba, you have to try it!!

Rocky Mountain Cafe

Love this cute little coffee shop. Been a repeat customer for years. The owner is very friendly and works hard. He recommended the iced cinnamon roll latte to me, and now i can’t order anything else! There are also arcade games to play while you wait for your order. The sandwiches here are also delicious.

I absolutely love this locally owed coffee shop! It’s my go to place! Great place to sit down and talk, or if you’re in a hurry grab a quick coffee through the drive threw!

This was my first time visiting and I am impressed by the food and service. I like the cozy atmosphere of seeing board games and video games to play and a comfy couch to sit on to relax . This is definitely my new go to spot for coffee and breakfast.

This is such a cool place! Ordered a toffee nut coffee and the service was so great. The barista was very helpful with my questions and even walked the drink out to me. Great service.
