Drybar - River North

Car worked absolute magic on my hair! I came in with a couple of inspo pictures for my updo and she did even better than I could’ve hoped and was really personable, too :) The updo looked this good AFTER a full night of dancing at a wedding!

I’m close to tears, honestly. I have an important event here in Chicago on Monday, and went in for a blow dry today, after having my hair cut and colored (and styled straight) in my hometown on Thursday. Last photo shows my hair on Saturday night. I literally asked for the same look at the DryBar on Sunday morning, just fresh. Explained that my hair is naturally wavy/curly but I need it straight and smooth for an outdoor event, and that usually a salon style lasts me a few days. Paid extra for “liquid glass”. I got a blow dry close to what I could have done myself, and by 4 PM it was just gone. My hair is a mess, my event is early enough tomorrow that I won’t even have time to wash and dry into my natural style. And it was over $70… I hate to sound like a Karen here, but I just don’t have money to throw away on stuff like this and only did it for the event. If you have thick, wavy or curly hair — this may not be the pace to style it.

This Drybar location is great. I always make it a point to visit when I am in Chicago. Their stylists do a great job with the wash, the dry, and the styling.  All stylists are great, but a special shout-out to Betsy is deserved as she works wonders with my hair.  The owner, Joy, is also fabulous. She went out of her way to help me with a barfly membership issue. Can’t recommend this location enough!

Shoutout to this location and its wonderful staff. I was lucky enough to get paired with the manager, Kay, and she gave me a BANGING blowout!! The place was clean, professional, and just a generally great atmosphere. Recommend to anyone looking for a killer blowout and great girl talk! Thanks again, Kay! (Also, add the scalp massage you won’t regret it)

I’ve had many great experiences at other Drybar locations but this one was the absolute worst due to the rudeness of the front desk staff member. We were 12 min late to our 9:30am appointment and were told that we need to have a dry style because we were more than 10 min late (I checked my confirmation emails and this policy is not listed there). I asked to speak to a manager and was told to wait to speak to them. At 10am, I was finally seen by the stylist who told me the manager isn’t even there. After all that, we still had to wait 30+ minutes for our appointment because no one was available. From 10am to 10:13am, the same stylist did 2 of our dry styles. For $35, that was not worth it. What a bad experience.

Bare Waxing Studio

My brows have never looked better! Dani is amazing! She is so sweet and makes you feel super comfortable. I’ll be sending all my friends here!

I always used to thread my brows because I would get painful breakouts from waxing, but I went to Dani and never broke out after my wax session. I loved the shape and tint she gave me. I am very picky about what products go on my face, and I love knowing she uses products that cause me no irritation!

if you get a wax from anyone but Dani - you are doing it wrong.  Dani could write a book on tĥe world of waxing.  Whether it be salon environment, conversation, precision or flexibility of appts - Dani is 10 stars.  Thanks!

Amazing! I was nervous just because I have been going to the same lady for waxing for 5 years so changing just made me nervous. Dani talked to me the whole time and made it easy to get through the waxing! Highly recommend!

Dani is very professional and I loved my brows! It’s a very comfortable chill atmosphere. I highly recommend!

Drybar - Milwaukee

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Drybar! For my birthday this year I decided to finally commit to the Barfly Double and I have been extremely satisfied with my experience. Carson Kubsch is the reason I finally decided to make the leap from just coming every once in awhile to committing to the Double. Carson makes me feel very comfortable as a client and is extremely knowledgeable in all products. As she is walking me through each product she uses, she is also educating me on what my hair needs, as all hair is different. I feel like I am the only person in the salon when I come and getting my hair done is such a special treat throughout the month. I also love the Hallmark partnership and enjoy my entire experience from start to finish, each and every time I step foot in the salon. Thank you Carson and Drybar for existing/being you and making my life just that much sweeter throughout the month. Can't wait to come back again at least twice again in December! Peace. Love. I absolutely love drybar 😍. The environment is so peaceful. The stylist  are absolutely amazing! They have never disappointed me. I recommend to everyone looking for a salon home. They’re open 7 days a week which is so convenient, especially on Sundays and have membership discounts. What’s not to love?! 💛

CHARLES was a delight. A friendly, professional, and highly skilled hair stylist. I couldn't be happier with how my hair turned out for my sister's wedding. It even took less time than I expected, and the person behind the front desk (didn't get a name) made sure I was able to plug in my phone so I could practice my maid of honor speech during the appointment without my phone dying. What a great place!

I always have a great experience at Drybar and have been coming here for years. You get to enjoy a movie and a beverage while they style your hair, what’s not to love about that?! Each hair stylist has their own unique abilities. As the day goes your hair does settle, but it still looks incredible! I love that the next day my hair will still look salon fresh:)

Visited Milwaukee for a long weekend and Carson went ABOVE and beyond!! She was absolutely amazing, professional, and has a passion for leadership. She spoke so highly of her team. She was so easy to talk to and I would recommend her for anyone considering trying out Drybar. I wish I could have her do my hair weekly.

Love the atmosphere here! Allure has an amazing variety of great stylists, each with their own private studio. I enjoy that personal feel when getting my haircut!

Beyond the Shears by Shelby is located here and she is my go to hair lady! Love the outcome every time I leave her chair.

Salon Revive and Executive Aesthetics are both located here and provide excellent spa services!!

Cedric does an amazing job. I have very long, very curly, very "mind of its own" hair. Blow-dry, left it, shiny, soft, manageable, and lasted a long time.

Also did a spectacular up-do for a special event.

Highly recommend, beautiful facility, and a REALLY nice guy. Kind, patient, and really listens to you.

Dry and Fly is amazing! You can tell Cedric loves what he does and has a commitment to making you feel as beautiful as you can. You’ll never want to do your own hair again!

WOW, after my deep conditioning treatment, haircut, and blow out my hair was amazing. No frizz, just perfectly smooth and flawless, it lasted with NO touchups for 4-5days!!!

Hair in the Winds(Adrian Clement)

I can't say enough about Adrian! She was amazing and patient with my daughter and took the time to wash her hair. My daughter couldn't stop talking about her experience and how much she loved Adrian. I also had a great experience. She was so informative about different cuts for different types of hair and helped me feel confident in what I was having done. I'll definitely recommend her to everyone.

Adrian has a gorgeous salon, and got us right in to get my 9 year old daughters hair cut. Not only did she take the time to wash and condition it, but she cut it, dried it and styled it as well. She made my daughter feel so special, and I will be booking with her soon to get mine cut and coloured! She’s a wonderful, extremely professional stylist and we are so grateful to have found her!!

What a lovely welcoming place. Adrian asked the right questions to ensure I got my desired look. She took a nice amount of time cutting and styling. I did not feel rushed. Not only is the cut to my satisfaction but the blow dry style was as if I did it myself. All to often I go right home after my hair is styled to touch it up. Not today. I went from the salon and ran errands feeling great.

Adrian got me in at the last minute and styled my hair gorgeously! She made my thin, smooth hair look thick and beautiful like something out of a fairy tale. She was also great to chat with. Thanks so much, Adrian. I highly recommend you and will be calling you for all my hair needs from now on.

I went to Shaylee for a pregnancy massage. She’s amazing and so sweet. I feel the best I’ve felt all pregnancy. Her space is so cute and relaxing. All the other girls who offer services there are so great too:)

Caitlin is wonderful at what she does! I have gone to her several times for coloring my hair and Brazilian hair treatments. I always leave the salon feeling confident about my hair. I also recently got eye lash extensions, and I love them! I highly recommend Caitlin. She makes you feel at home and is great at doing hair!! 😊

I have been receiving lymphatic drainage massages (also known as post surgical lymphatic massage) from Shaylee at 307 Roots. Shaylee is VERY knowledgeable in this area. It is 100% painless and you leave feeling like you've had a full body massage! My surgeon has been very happy with the results of the lymphatic drainage massages. I highly recommend Shaylee for this procedure!

I absolutely love it here! She is amazing with hair! She is honest and cares so much about the health of your hair. I trust Caitlin 100% and highly recommend going to her for all your hair needs and wants!

Gina did a great job adding a mixture of low lights and highlights and a shadow root to my hair. Just the perfect glow for the Summer!

I'm fully gray headed and Jayden always gets my gray completely covered and my new highlights look so pretty. Love this Salon and the atmosphere. Very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend! Love also the convenience of booking online.

It’s not a “snooty” type place,  but that’s what I like about it.  Janie did my low lights and toner, and she did a great job.  She took her time and made sure it was done with care.  Thanks Janie 😊

I went in for an all over blonde color. She gives me foil packs and doesn't touch the rest of my hair. I ask her what color was she going to put on the rest and she said none it's going to blend. Mad 😡😡. I tell her I want my hair layered and fly backs she cuts around the bottom of my hair and doesn't begin to work on my bangs she literally took her scissors and cut the tips of my hair . I've had bad haircuts bad haircuts before but this was awful. She said do you want me to style your hair... NO I WANT YOUR TO CUT IT. I left with color stains all over my face.
