All the wood paneling and fishing gear on the wall gives it a really great Northern Woods feel.

I have both eaten in and taken out.  The staff is friendly, but the food is average at best.  The presentation is bland.  I switched from a fish platter to a hamburger platter, and it has never been cooked remotely to the doneness I request., so I have given up on the place, even though it is very convenient to my house. When I order a medium burger and am promised it will still be pink in the middle, it is dry as a bone, overdone and burned on the edges - no juice left whatsoever.  I've tried ordering medium rare, and it comes out totally raw. My daughter ordered a medium-well burger, and it was raw.  When you do carryout, you discover this when you get home and are ready to eat, then when you call, they want you to bring it back - not worth it.  It's pretty bad when a chef can't cook a burger.  The decor is dark and needs updating.  They raise their prices frequently, and it would be totally worth it if the food was better.

Lazy River is by far the most enjoyable restaurant I've been to. Their food is always excellent because great care is taken in the preparation.  Always fresh, cooked to perfection. The wait-staff is friendly, truly interested in the customer's needs. One in particular, Amanda, remember's who you are, what you like to eat, and is a genuinely kind person. Please take some time and visit Lazy River Grill. One review was very unkind and untruthful about the food and service. Sounds like a former employee that's holding a grudge.

Hooters

You go for the atmosphere! I didn't think I was going to enjoy myself but I did. Great place to watch the game and eat bar food.

Service: Servers are always friendly and attentive, even when busy. The staff seem to be happy and busy, so that is a good sign.

Food: standard bar food, but still tastes good. We enjoy the curly fries, fried pickles, tator tots and wings. Pleasantly tasty drinks. There is a full bar  as well and lots of seating options.

Surprised by the visit and a good spot to stop at the Mall of America.

I stopped in for a bite to ear and watched the first half of the MN Vikings game. The bar stools are a little sketchy. Most of them were wobbly and didn't feel really safe. But the bar service was great, the beer was cold and the food wasn't bad. The beef sliders were really good, but jerk bone-in wings I did care for, I didn't like the breading on them. If they had been just fried and seasoned right out of the fryer and no breading, I think they would have been better.

Wing quality wasn't there. Sauces weren't that hot. Had garlic habenero dry rub and spicy garlic. Service was great though

The atmosphere was great! Our server Vai was amazing, super friendly, super courteous, super respectful. I had a few teenagers, myself and my young lady daughter and it was our first experience at a hooters. Our server and the rest of the staff made it feel very comfortable for us to be in there. The food was great and the experience made it even better. Super clean. Awesome music that was comfortable. Very quick and friendly service. I would definitely recommend! And I will definitely be going back! They have merch(cups and such to purchase )as well to complete the experience.

My wife and I went to the Mall of America for my birthday this year and chose to go to Hooters. I had no idea the wings were so expensive! HOWEVER, they were still really good! Besides us guys don't necessarily go for the wings and beer its to look at the waitresses! Ha ha ha! Everything about the visit was great. The service, the food, and the atmosphere. After years of not being there, it still felt like a place for college kids to hang out. Instead of the getting the traditional bone wings, now I get the clean boneless wings. Still super good though!

Libby was a phenomenal waitress.  She was the only server working when I came in and she was busting her butt all over the restaurant.  It wasn't crowded, but there were several tables, and they were pretty spread out across the floor, so she was definitely getting her steps in keeping up with taking orders, delivering food and ensuring dinners didn't need anything.  Even with those challenges, I never once was without a drink, food was delivered hot, and drinks served cold.  I would definitely ask for her again on a future visit.

The smoked jerk wings were excellent and up to standard, and the Baja shrimp tacos definitely hit the spot.  I think I'll definitely be back again.

I enjoyed it very much. The food was pretty good. If you're into fried pickles I recommend you try those because they are the best ones I've tried anywhere else. The service was splendid. I didn't feel like we waited too long to get our food. But yeah. It was a great experience plus this was my first Hooters ever

Food and service was awesome 👌... Best thing on the menu was the desserts .. enough Said. Would recommend anyone to give them a try. Everything was fresh and the mood was just right for the game I was watching

Sat at the bar, can't remember our bartenders name but she was blonde and fantastic. Food was great. Definitely a good experience.

Brianna the waitress was charming and sweet. Had to move tables due to overpowering nasty weed smell that a crowd of 4 dragged in. Wings were very small. Overall, wings were tasty.

Underground Burger Bar

We sat down and ordered our food. The burger seemed like it was made from old meat( you know the ground beef you should get rid of, but how you can slide it on by) and the fries were ice cold. The empanadas were hot but I didn’t like them. I told the man about the cold fries so he went and got another order which he clearly just put in the microwave. Smh. Understanding that you are getting ready to close but… if there are 10 tables with tv’s and one table with people sitting why not turn the other tv’s off first . I just got the feeling of nastiness from the lady working. I’m sure I won’t be going back. The guy that was our waiter seemed nice but service and food quality just did not balance.

This is an odd place. It is in the basement of the Doubletree, and it was practically deserted when we were there. The food was okay, and the server was pleasant enough, but the ambience seemed tired and sad. It was also a bit strange to see most of the kitchen staff sitting at tables in the dining area watching TV. Fine for a quick bite if you are staying at the hotel.

Place seemed clean. Bartender was very nice and helpful. I had the Jack Daniels BBQ burger, and it was really good. They also had a variety of beer on tap. All in all a very pleasant experience.

The burger was as good, but not 5-star  The ambience was nice.  Very polite servers.  Considering their name, they only had four burgers on the menu.  The rest of the menu was pastas, dinner plates, and salads.  I would eat their again

Atmosphere: The Underground Burger Bar is hidden in the basement of Holiday Inn. A basement isn't the most inviting place to go to eat.  The place it self was nearly deserted; there was one guy at the bar, and I wasn't sure if he worked there or not.  The gray decor made it feel like a sterile underground bunker that had been dressed up.  2/5 for atmosphere.

Staff:  The staff was friendly and greeted us promptly.  They had a good balance between making sure to wait on us and giving us space to think about what we wanted to order, and then space to enjoy our food.  They were good about keeping the water cup full, and used that as an opportunity to clear dirty dishes, instead of making multiple trips.  One employee was training our waiter, who was a little awkward, but still nice. 4/5 for staff.

Food: The food is good, especially the onion rings.  It's nice to find good food in the same building where you're staying.  There are many options for vegetarians; they have a variety of burgers on the menu and they can all be substituted for a veggie burger.  If you are looking for a quick bite before your flight, this could be a good choice. 4/5 for food.

Smack Shack

If you want quality seafood with chill vibes, this is the place.  The staff is great and the food is phenomenal.  There's a bar area so you can hang with friends or you can sit and relax in the restaurant section.  They let the food be the star of the show. We had the crab cakes and the Rhode Island lobster roll. The key lime pie was also savory.

My wife and I went to Smack Shack before a concert on Sunday evening. We were seated in a corner table right next to the bus station and  Bar food was extremely overpriced and was not as expected. We ordered the lobster boil, and it basically came out as a single lobster a sausage, link, ear of corn, and some potatoes definitely was not a boil of any kind over priced and mediocre in quality. The atmosphere was very nice except for us, having to watch the busing of tables and cleaning up dishes next to us, all in all not a good experience

Upon arrival, there was a cook at the steamer drinking beer from a pint glass.  Awesome first impression. Especially with glass in a kitchen.
It took more than 5 minutes for the server to come over and we placed our orders. 25 min. later, our apps (lobster bisque and mussels arrived, very cold. Then 45 seconds later our entrees arrived. My wife had the scallops and they were cold also.
We had to ask a dofferent server to help us out and when our server brough back the bisque and scallops they had clearly been microwaved as the bowl the bisque was in was scorching hot and the scallops were not of the same consistency. I had the CT lobster roll, which was less than favorable, it lacked flavor and the split-top bun wasn't properly split.
While we were leaving there was an extremely intoxicated girl in the vestibule who had her eyes closed and was barely able to hold herself up on her drunk boyfriend.
I get being drunk, but when you're paying $25-$100 for an entree, maybe you can be more conscious of overserving and present an environment that reflects the cost.
I have been in the industry for over 20 years and everything that I have ever learned was clearly not present.
Additionally, I'm a New England native and I was very disappointed with this entire visit.

If you want seafood, especially a lobster roll, this place is it.  Super-fresh and just really good food.  The patio was great and service did not disappoint.

We had great service on the patio. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable about many things in the area and was able to explain the differences in the food options very clearly. The food came out very fast considering how busy they were at the time. Everything was quite excellent. We will definitely be back.

Parlour

Can’t say enough about the friendly service here. Vibes and atmosphere are great, but in my experience the personable service really made this place shine. MYSTERY COOKIE IS TO DIE FOR. I’m going back for the cookies alone! Sure, the burger is good—seriously fantastic job on getting both patties crispy without overdrying or burning them, that’s hard!—but oh man the cookies. The bowl of fries is deceptively small too, but there’s a lot of them. Really a shareable. Nice garlic seasoning.

Can’t wait to come back! Definitely recommend the nighttime vibes here, great place for friends or a date, etc.

This was our first time here. It's been around for about 10 years. It is in the basement of Borough restaurant and used to serve as the waiting room for  that restaurant! It is now a full-fledged cocktail bar. Great old-fashioned atmosphere. Friendly and efficient service with an extensive collection of spirits.

Parkour is a perfect place to visit for a late-night cap or a last-minute meetup with friends.  They have a full bar for classic cocktails and a special drink menu as well. The food menu is limited but perfect for small bites or a light dinner. The atmosphere is chic, urban, underground, and trendy. Be sure to go down some stairs to find the entrance!

Best burger I've had in Minneapolis. Drinks are creative and tasty. Atmosphere is great for a night out.

Burger is simple with only cheese and pickles, but it is all it needs. It's pricy for Minneapolis ($16) but well worth it. We also got the za'atar falafel which was solid, but not incredible. Fries were sharable but pricy and the only condiment options were a thick mayo and ketchup.

Drinks were solid, but lacked creativity for the $15-$20 price tag. The main thing you are coming for is the burger and the atmosphere.

HAVE to get the burger ($17)!!!
Fries ($7.50) paired with the Swiss aioli ($3) is also amazing.

Entrance is a bit hard to see as it’s hidden behind a shrubby gate and picnic style tables.

There is metered parking on the street that is relatively cheap but it might be difficult to find on the weekends.

Overall, perfect place to get a burger in Minneapolis. This was recommended to us and we ended up going twice!

A rare miss when I entered Hooters on8/6/23. The food was hot but took an exceptionally long time to get. The waitress did the bare minimum but did check on me once.

Food was great. My wife likes the steamed shrimps and she said they were very good. I typically get a burger or the Texas smoked wings. Either is great. Hooters has become my go to burger place. The general manager, Staci, is always super friendly and helpful. She takes great pride in making sure everyone is happy with their food and drinks. The Hooters girls are very friendly and knowledgeable about their food and drink choices.

Ordered all u can eat wings first batch came out and we were told by the bartender Amber that we had to eat the 10 wings we had first before we can get another order second order took damn near 30min to come and the place was not packed we sitting at the bar looking stupid waiting on food. Second batch came out which was 6 wings and bartender basically pushed us out the door she rung up our check and sat it on the table and told me and my buddy we couldn't get anymore and that she was tired and worked 13hrs so I paid $22 for 16 wings.......Never again will I go to Florissant location I will continue to go to hooters downtown St.Louis

Ordered the crab legs and they were delicious.  Deseree our server was awesome and just absolutely took the best care of us.  Food came out hot and quickly.  Drinks were cold.  Will definitely come back for more.

Food came out smoking hot and fresh, Salad was good but would've been better if they had eggs, this location didn't have any, but overall good food and good service

Peel Wood Fired Pizza

This is one of our Favorite places to get pizza in STL area. Wood fired pizza puts regular pizza to shame, and it's not that expensive. We got the Mexican Street Corn as the appetizer and it was delicious (last time we got the toasted ravioli which is really good as well). Great gluten free options. Plus we couldn't pass up the homemade cookies for dessert 🍪. We've eaten here multiple times now and everything is always amazing.

It’s been awhile since I’ve been so finally made it back.  Our server Ellie was fantastic.
Nice atmosphere with plenty of seating. And not too loud.
I’m partial to the involtini. It’s amazing. Could be had as a meal.
We tried the bbq chicken pizza - good
The prosciutto pizza - good. Would suggest without the potatoes and garlic.  Garlic cloves were a bit too much for me.
The chocolate chip cookies were served warm and quite good!
Would recommend and will go back!

Yum, yum, yum!!! The pizza there is amazing. I wish we had one in MN I would order from there all the time. I'm not a big fan of the toasted ravioli, though. I expected more cheese inside and not all beef. The pizza made up for it, though. I will have to get a few different items next time I am in town, though, and see what else tastes good on the menu!

TLDR: do NOT order takeout, but the pizza is good

So- ordered online to pickup for an at home date night. Arrived when I was meant to and checked in with the hostess. A few minutes go by and I’ve faded into the background so I check in again, with a different front of house worker. A few more minutes pass- still nothing. I wait. Get prompted by yet another front of house worker as the waves of pickup customers have already cycled out a few times while I was there. They disappear into the back and I never see them again. 20 minutes in I’m trying hard to act cool because I was a server for years and I get it, sometimes things are weird. I continue to wait, making meaningful eye contact with everyone I have given my name to already. 30 minutes in a manager comes to the front and asks my name. She apologized and pulled my lukewarm food from a holding bag behind the service desk- like a magic trick. It has been right next to me the whole time. I thank her and leave. I get home and open up my parcels to get started on the Caesar salad while the pizza reheats so I can pretend I’m eating a vegetable. It is a bowl of plain Lettuce with a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese and a side of Italian dressing. I actually laughed a little bit. I have a sense of humor. My husband tried to hold a straight face while I seasoned and redressed the salad waxing poetic about the lack of respect that Romaine had endured, and I put the pizzas into the oven to reheat. After 20 more minutes at the house, we had dinner! I made as many dishes as if I’d cooked at home.
We will try again for in-house dining. Everybody has a weird night and the pizza was actually quite delicious!

We entered Peel for the first time today. We were welcomed by incredibly happy staff. The food was beyond exceptional. The Wood Fired Lobsters Pizza is a divine surprise. It was truly the best pizza we have ever eaten anywhere in this entire country. We also enjoyed every bite of the Farmers Salad, Wood Fired Shrimp and a made to order, hot in a pan, exquisite Apple Pie topped with vanilla bean ice cream. Each and every bite of our meal was absolutely followed by "oh my god this is so delicious". We took a moment to ask if a manager was available for a few questions and raves. Marlene, the manager, approached our table with a beautiful smile. We asked her to join us for a moment. We had a wonderful heartfelt conversation. We specifically asked, "why is everyone that works here so happy"? After talking with Marlene, it is clear, the chef and owners set the tone for this exceptional restaurant. This restaurant is a fantastic example of how to create and maintain a standard of excellence in food, atmosphere and friendly staff. Bravo to every employee that made our night special. We will be back and we highly recommend that you don't miss out on anything that this restaurant has to offer.

Parlour St. Paul

We rented one of the rooms for our son's wedding rehearsal dinner. It happened to be on the same night as a Minnesota Wild game. The restaurant was packed yet the staff was dedicated and amazing, the food creative and fresh and the overall vibe was awesome. I would give more stars if I could!!

Great cocktails, awesome burger! Don't sleep on the duck meatloaf- I don't think I saw any other reviews for it, but it was delicious too. Happy hour deals make a few appetizer options and beverages (including a "happy hour cocktail of the day") more affordable. Service could have been more attentive, but we were in no rush so it wasn't a big deal. The food menu is small so make sure you know what you're getting into, but that burger was definitely worth it.

Best burger I’ve had in a very long time. Juicy, cheesy, filling, perfect. Service was great, our server was really nice, and the atmosphere was great. For dessert, the banana bread was the perfect way to end the meal, moist, crispy crust, and the meal extremely memorable.

I am shocked to see that this place has so many 5 star reviews! The atmosphere and ambiance was nice but charging 17 dollars just for a burger is absurd! and on top of that, charging 7 dollars for fries is wild as well, and to add salt to the wound (literally the burger was a bit too salty) the fries looked and tasted like mcdonald’s fries. The burger was good I will give them that, but the mac and cheese tasted exactly like store bought frozen mac and cheese I could’ve bought at walmart. Overall, this place has a decent overpriced burger with an overpriced side of mid fries and a mediocre overpriced side of mac and cheese.

Olympia Kebob House and Taverna

It's my favorite Greek place I've had in St. Louis. We went for lunch, and it wasn't busy. The hummus was rich and creamy. I loved the Moussaka was very well done as well.

Olympia is a great spot if you need a lot of filling food for a good price. Their menu has a little bit of everything, but personally I really enjoyed the Moussaka, as well as the chicken kabob platter. Their food reminds me of a home cooked Mediterranean meal with portions to match. The outdoor patio area is perfect for cooler summer evenings. Inside is a little too cramped for me, so outside is your best bet.

They have a dedicated parking lot if you’re visiting from outside the neighborhood. I believe they’re also on DoorDash, so don’t let traveling prevent you from trying them out.

Excellent authentic Greek food experience in St. Louis. Recommend the mezedes and local Olympia Blonde Ale on tap. Service was on point, friendly, and attentive. Would highly recommend for anyone!

Let me say, I was excited to try this place.  The atmosphere was very nice, the bar is beautiful but it ends there. We were sat on the bar side. We waited a very long time just to get menus and water.  This has nothing to do with being busy. There was only four other small parties dining.  The greeter finally got our menu and waters.  And after quite some time our server came over. We ordered right away.  Again, we waited a very long time for our food. Our server never once came to check on us to see if we needed more water or anything else to drink.  She brought our food out and had her thumb in my spouse’s salad. Again, she went MIA. We finally had to ask the greeter to get her so we could pay our bill. We paid her immediately because we feared she’d be gone a long while again.  We paid via card and left her a $5 tip per her very poor service.
Upon checking our card statement later we found that she added a 20% tip to our bill on top of the $5 we left her and AFTER we had signed the original receipt.  This is stealing!  We called to inform the manager and was told they will talk to her and we were reimbursed the $7 she stole from us.  Plus the food was subpar, nothing special.  We won’t be back.  If you want great Greek food, atmosphere and excellent service go to Dado’s on Hampton.

The good, the bad and the ugly:
Good: Avgolemono Soup, probably one of the most delicious soups ive ever had in my life. It was like lemon velvet. 🍋
Greek salad 🥗 with chicken, pretty good. Basic, what you expect. Lettuce, feta, chicken, green pepper, a few olives.
Lamb gyro 🌯, it was okay. But just okay. Honestly slightly disappointed we were at a greek restaurant but the gyro was not so "greek". Very basic but not bad.
Bad: the kids meal chicken strips were almost inedible because they were cooked so long they became hard as a rock.
The rice.....wheres the flavor? Literally no seasonings or anything, just meh.
The ugly: not the fault of the restaurant but traffic is LOUD and i mean really loud. It faces a busy street. The patio is nice if there's no traffic. People speed like crazy. Police should enforce.
