Walmart Supercenter

One of the best and cleanest Wal Mart. The fresh  fruits and veggies were well stocked. There's workers there always keeping everything all neat and clean. The deli customer service was very nice, friendly, and courteous.

I would have given five stars, however the guy at the door stopped me and I don't have time for that because I don't steal. Thankfully my dog who works back in electronics told them not to do it again. Therefore the next day that I visited they did not stop us so they are learning thank goodness.

Very rude walmart employees that blocked instore shoppers. Hopefully management will address the problem.

This Walmart have a lack of seriousness as it relates to the handling of clients equipment and or the service provided. There is no quality control inspections done after work there. I advise anyone that receives work to do a pre-trip inspection. After finishing up my inspection after having four Goodyear tires installed, I noticed that they had scratched my rims really badly with the crowbar. They also tried to play on my intelligence and tell me that I was missing a lug nut that I know for certain I was not missing. After leaving AutoZone by a $5 lug nut, I had to return to Walmart and tell them they broke my valve stem. I didn't have any problems getting that fixed after I advise them that I had already left a complaint and I will be leaving another one and I also voice my concerns with the manager on duty Saturday morning named Tammy. Those employees affect the integrity of Walmart and is subsidiaries the way my car was handled. The tires alone were $1,000 so I became really frustrated to see how they had scratched my rim up. The lack of care and the lack of professionalism that the employees at the tire center possess Saturday and Friday morning is ridiculous. Both mornings I I greeted the employees and received no answers like I was speaking to myself. Then after 15 to 20 minutes of waiting to tell them that I have a schedule appointment for tire installation there still was no greeting. It almost felt as if I was bothering them! I'm never going back I just needed my tires installed. I have had several experiences that's why I had my tires mailed to my house because previously I had the tires mailed to the store and couldn't even get the tires because of some release that they need, even though the tires were paid for online and I had receipt with me. I usually don't leave reviews but because this is Walmart and I have been doing business with them for several years, it deserves a review. I also made a complaint with Walmart corporation and is waiting a response. More photos available upon request

Woofables Gourmet Dog Bakery

I've been meaning to come here for what seems like forever and the store front portion of this business closed this week so I had to make it in before that happened.  They had a more central location prior to this one that I probably would have made it to sooner but the new location is nice and new so I see the rationale for the move.  They were having a close out sale when I was there, which was nice but nothing was priced which was definitely inconvenient.  It turns out most things were fairly expensive originally so that may be part of the reason lol.  There were quite a few options and they had some pretty cute biscuits.  They also had some options I would have never thought to give to my dogs intentionally like the pupcorn.  I chose to steer clear of the yogurt covered treats (I don't usually give my dogs dairy) which turned out to be the majority of the options but I still found a few to have my dogs try.  I will update once I see how they like the ones I bought.

Wonderful gourmet dog treats and service! I had the holiday treats mailed to me. The packaging was done with such care. The holiday biscuits are so cute! Our german shepherd, Gracie will love them!

Love this company ♡♡♡Delivery is quick. Product is fresh & smells yummy.  I've used them numerous times.  Want a nateral treat made with love contact them. Highly recommended ♡

Joy in electronics doesn't need to work in customer service she lacks any kindness , friendliness , or helpfulness .
Dear Manager please watch her behavior on video, she is a disgrace to your company on 12-18-2023 at 9 pm. She said i don't like customers like you and told me to go ring up front even though I was already told to wait for her to be done with another customer.  Why she told me to wait and then leave is example of her not wanting to work.  I would like you to resolve the issue.

I stopped at this location again, and it was a different experience.
The items were stocked, and checkout lines went fast.
The store changed the checkouts to more self checkout, and the other checkouts had 2 smaller checkouts instead of one.
The staff were very friendly.
It was still hard to find things since things were moved around, but a better experience.
I will shop earlier, it seems to be better then later in the day

Previous experience
I have been coming here for years, and every time I shop here, it gets worse. I think today really put the icing on the cake.
Walmart, in general, is a great place to shop. I have visited numerous Walmarts all over, and everyone is slightly different.
This particular one has lost my respect.
I'm trying to shop here, and several areas are empty. This is not covid. It happened before Covid and still happens every week.
I can say items were hard to find
I can say they didn't have them
I can say three high school boys were using electric carts like Mario cart, and you could hear them throughout the store. Also, not one manager did one thing to stop it.
I can say the lines were very long.
I can say a lot of things happened today.
But I will say that when high school boys are running carts laughing through the store and no one does anything that tells me management doesn't care or doesn't want to lose business.
The carts are for elderly or people who can not walk the store for health issues. They depend on it or they can't shop.
I will say that there are two walmarts not far away that I will shop from now on.

Thank you to the workers who did help find things since things were moved around. I really appreciate the kindness and help. If it wasn't for the staff helping, it would have been 1 star.

Wal-Mart saves Christmas dinner, or do they? I will let you decide. I placed a Wal-Mart online order five days in advance to insure the items I wanted where in stock and available so I could have a worry-free Christmas dinner this season. I am naturally planner and go through a lot of extreme efforts to ensure that my dinner is decided on and all the necessary ingredients is either in my house or in the Walmart order, to avoid extra unassay Christmas stress. The first thing to pop up to my attention on delivery day is that Wal-Mart was extra eager to deliver my items, so they sent them out before 10 am which is normally a huge plus right? Who does not love an early order? Well, this early order came with a price, I did not receive my hot rotisserie chicken. The star of my Christmas dinner! They agreed this was not acceptable and set out a refund for the extra fee for the order and then set up a new order for today between 5pm - 6pm and promised a chicken would be delivered. So on to put up my items, I was missing about six items from my order and added a pack of water I never ordered to my items. I called and they issued a refund for my missing items and a 10-dollar gift card to cover the price of the under 35-dollar order. Overall, my Christmas dinner though was not stress-free ordering, they have taken care to lessen my stress in a thoughtful and timely manner so I will say they deserve 5 stars. I may down grade if the chicken does not arrive today, but I do want to be a thoughtful and considerate customer and not tank their reviews for a time that is stressful for employees and customers alike. Hopefully the replacements will all arrive on time and the rest of my Christmas dinner will go off without a hitch! Fingers crossed that Santa gets his favorite fresh orange cookies this year! They have the rotisserie chicken available 10am - 4pm daily. So, it makes sense to get the order out before 10am for delivery and just put not in stock, right? So, if you want your order on time just chose 10am - 11am and add a hot rotisserie chicken to your order Iowa City Wal-Mart will make your order a priority to leave the store prior to 10am! and refund you for the chicken that is not in stock.   Extra take home from this? If you want your order to arrive on time, then place a 10am -11am order with a rotisserie chicken. That was the first time my order arrived at 10am on the dot! All my other orders where either right on the 11am dot or a little late. Seems like Chicken really causes all those Wal-Mart elves to get off the shelf and hustle this year. Remember to be kind to each other as Santa enters through the heart not the chimney!

Generally in a nice and serene environment in the city of Iowa city, be sure to get the best prices.

There were some very nice women working there, very helpful. Probably the best Walmart customer service anyone will ever get at any walmart, which admittedly is a low bar. It's like 5 African women  with headscarves running the whole store and everyone of them deserves a raise.

iit depends greatly on what day and time you get here but when you are early enough, the isles are stocked and the variation of products is pretty good. Isles were clean and organized today around 8am Saturday.. Coming at later times usually its crazy busy and the isles are picked over.
Today was a good day for qalmart shopping.

My first visit for an oil change today. I called yesterday and got in right away this morning. I chose the 34.88 job, which is the lowest price of 3 options.  I was asked if I wanted my air filter changed if it needed it. My initial thought was that they were going to " get" me on that filter whether I needed it or not. It took about 30 minutes to complete the job and they found my air filter didn't need replacing.  A mechanic is like your doctor, you dont want one that performs needless procedures. They checked my fluids, lights, turning signals and vacuumed my floors. Refilled my washer fluid at no extra charge. I am impressed and very happy with their service.  Thank you Walmart Automotive Dept!

Nice sized Walmart compared to our local one tones of clearance items. Could easily wonder for a few hours! The bathrooms were actually cleaned and kept on nice shape. Nice location on the edge of the highway auto center is a nice plus as well as huge outdoor and garden section. Grocery pickup is amazing and prompt as well

Much cleaner, stocked well and has larger aisles than the disgustingly dirty one in Burnsville. But this one also plays games. Bait and switch,  deceptive packaging, and blatant lies. I saw that this store had an unbranded plastic 9" level for $2.88. I got there and they didn't have that. They did have a similar one  for almost $10. Classic bait and switch. But I bought it anyway. I then found a 1/4" blue ribbon I needed for about $3.00. They had other ribbons there that were 2 to 21/2" for about the same price. It  looked like there was a good amount wrapped around the cardboard packaging. But when I got home it only went around the cardboard a few times. 9"! That's all there was for that thin piece of ribbon for that price! Very deceptive! I bought some plastic snowflakes for $11.62. Very high price but I've been looking everywhere for them so I bought them. The packaging said 16 but there were only 14. Out right lie! When I buy online they always give me some kind of compensation but I called the manager and he wanted me to bring everything back to the store. I  told him I didn't want money back I just wanted him to be more careful about these deceptions. I don't know if he cares or not.

No regular lanes open. Went to self checkout. Had quite a few items. After scanning all went to use gift card and it wouldn't work. Told me I had to go thru regular lane. I said there are none open! They took me to regular checkout lane had to take everything out of bags to get re scan. Got home and had none of my produce which was reason I went. Had to go to work no time for going back a second time to get what I paid for

Sick and tired of them asking for receipts, they pick and choose whose they want to check. If they are so concerned about theft then they should have less self checkouts and hire more cashiers. Employees are not helpful at all. If you need something out of a locked case, then prepare to wait 15 or 20 minutes before someone finally comes to help. The store constantly has clutter and is an absolute mess. They always have pallets blocking entire isles too. Shame on whoever the manager is of this location for allowing it to become such a dump.

Rose was very helpful with an issue we had. Very thankful for how she treated us! Believe she was a manager or team lead of some sort. Thank you Rose!

The workers there are very friendly all the time when we go shopping there their price is there for food are reasonable &  parking is easy

The Cheesecake Factory

One of the few things left at this mall, but it is a great location. They do not take reservations but we had no trouble with a party of 9. We were there at 2:00 on a Saturday. I was surprised at how busy they were at this location. The service was awesome and the food came pretty quick. They even helped us with the cheesecake birthday cake. They did not charge automatic gratuity. That surprised us and we made it well worth the hour and a half we were there. I recommend this place and I am sure we will be back.

As with all cheesecake factories - consistent in food quality, value, service and atmosphere. If you've been to one, another one will feel just the same as it's well standardized on all aspects. Food was good - quality and quantity echoed in the cost. Extensive menu that has something for everyone/anyone with certain food lifestyles. Free bread as a starter as well. Can't go wrong when visiting cheesecake factory (for food, cheesecake or both).

Server was great!  Pleasant, and professional.  We had the Tex Mex egg rolls and they were great so was the calamari.  The bread is always nice to have while you wait.  We had several good drinks and when our food arrived it was perfect.  The chicken fettuccine Alfredo cook to perfection, and the portions were just right with a little bit to take home. The Carne Asada steak was cooked just as good and had plenty. The fish tacos are very filling with lots of fish. We normally get dessert but we were just too full but you can’t go wrong with taking some cheesecake or strawberry shortcake home restaurant was very clean wasn’t too crowded and then it was just a really pleasant atmosphere.

My first time here. Beautiful place and the service is excellent. It felt like a fairy tale story come to life. The food was delicious and more than I could eat. I tried the Tirimasu Cheesecake, it was okay. The banana cream pie cheesecake was delicious. 😊

We had a wonderful time for my daughter's birthday. We had 12 people and the waiter was fantastic. The food was great and the atmosphere was excellent. I would suggest the restaurant start taking reservations. We were also charged for an additional drink because one of the teenagers switched from Coke to Lemonade, but these are minor annoyances.

I go to the check out counter that has clerks. They are always friendly. I enjoy talking with them while they are getting my groceries. It just seems like the world is in too big of a hurry so I enjoy stopping once in a while to actually have a conversation with someone you don't know.

Came in the morning at 5:30 I knew they didn’t open until 6. I seen them letting customers into the store as I walked in at 5:39 they had told us we can shop but we can’t check out until 6. As I am shopping people being seriously rude. Especially the lady in electronics with dark brown hair. Had an attitude but maybe you should be communicating with coworkers. Unpleasant visit and will not be returning. I understand that you weren’t open yet but you let a lot of customers in and you had no reason to have attitude with customers.

The store was clean, I found it well stocked, organized and I was able to locate what I was shopping for. Once connected, the store associates on the floor were friendly. I saw many working the floor and had to wait longer than usual for a locked/secure item. The employee who escorted us to the check-out area with our secure item was very friendly and cheerful. The staffed check-out lanes were minimal (3), I avoid self-checkout because of Wal-Mart's lack of customer trust extra step. It is not time saving to check myself out, only to be stopped, searched and receipt verified. Whether you like it or not, it's a search. Nearly every time I use self-checkout I'm stopped to verify a receipt. No issues have ever been found. There is no real time saved if I'm stopped. Their staffed check-out employee very obviously didn't want to be there. She was just rude and appeared offended that she had to check us out. Not a good visit.

Terrible store. Store department signs on walls and hanging look like they are hand painted and make you feel like you are in a bad thrift store. Pharmacy is in the middle of the store and is very inconvenient if all you are doing is picking up prescriptions for an ill friend/ family member. And like all Walmarts the checkout look and feel like cattle runs for loading onto trucks. Staff standing around directing people to use the self checkout and expecting you to be an unpaid employee and not even receive a discount for being a cashier ad bagger. You will be accused of theft as you leave the store because you are asked to show your receipt even if you have a human cashier work for you and ring up your purchase. Being asked to show your receipt means that they suspect you stole something and if you are not being accused of theft it is a violation of your right to privacy. Ask if they are accusing you of theft when asked to show it, when they say no ask why they need to see it then. And continue on your way out of the store. Terrible business practice by a conglomerate that buys poorly made products at the lowest price, sells them to you at incredible markup and considers you a thief when you leave their store.

Overcrowded, 10 or more employees in various points around the front of the store chatting and telling customers to use the self checkouts, 1 cashier with 6 customers in line. I was directed to use the self checkout and replied "why I don't work here". Customers enter a narrow maze system to scan, bag, and pay for their items themselves. It looks like livestock on a farm. And when you exit there is an employee that acts as if every customer is stealing, because he asks to see your receipt and checks what is in your bags. When I was asked for mine I asked him "Are you  accusing me of stealing something?" He said "No we just like to make sure everything was rang up correctly." Asking to check out receipts and items is accusing us and the cashiers of theft.

Some of these comments are quite.... Asinine! Never seen so many miserable people before. This Walmart isn't even bad, but let these folks and I'm noticing who is saying it most or calling it "Ghetto". However, I won't even go there.

You'd think having police in the store would be welcoming, but folks complain. Items are locked up because well stores are struggling with theft. Doesn't matter where you go. Certain things are locked up because they are high theft items.

You're spending your own hard earned money, but get upset that you have to utilize self checkout?? I'd rather use self checkout and go about my day!!! People saying "I don't get paid to bag my own groceries" sound like a 2 year old throwing a tantrum. Artificial intelligence is taking over so you may as well get ready and or used to it.

If a store is messing blame the customer! The employees aren't doing it! If one or 2 people give you a bad experience don't blame the entire store! Some of you don't need to come in public at all because you're so unhappy within yourself.

Common sense isn't so common now a days and customer service isn't what it used to be because the CUSTOMER doesn't appreciate these folks. I wish I could comment on some of these reviews because Jesus! People are so..... Selfish, rude, play the victim and more or just rode the short bus growing up! Some of you need to GET A GRIP, GET THERAPY, STAY AWAY FROM THE PUBLIC OR ALL THE ABOVE

Ordered for curbside pickup and it was ready quickly. Got to the pickup location and it took an hour to get my order out to me. The app had wrong numbers listed for parking spot options and also kept refreshing to make me say I parked and where. I'm not sure if that's the cause of the long wait times or just poorly organized system. Finally, after several tries over 30ish minutes, someone answered the phone that's listed to call instead of using the app. After I spoke to someone and they said it should be soon they came right out. So again i feel it was the app screwing things up. Anyways, just FYI for people picking up at this location.

Everytime I go to this store,,it feels like I'm going to a party,, the store is so alive with people,, the service is hardly friendly because most retail stores are struggling with maintaining security from theft,, the police station is in store,, and there presence is felt,, which makes for a pleasant surprise and experience

I had a fantastic experience while shopping at this store, as they offered a great selection of items. Below, I will outline the pros and cons of my experience:

Pros:
The store had a considerable number of staff members who were exceptionally helpful and friendly.
They offered a wide variety of items at affordable prices.
Cons:
Insufficient staff was available at the registers. While waiting in line, one register informed me, "Bro, I am closed. Go to another line." Only a few registers were open, with the majority being self-checkout stations. As a result, all the open registers had excessively long lines. It felt as if it were Black Friday, despite the absence of online sales. Considering this, I would suggest visiting a different location where you can check out more quickly.
Overall, it was an interesting experience.

One more point: I observed that a police car was stationed near important locations such as stores and banks. I believe this is done due to security concerns.👌

Love the new remodel, now that it’s finally finished. I used to hate the self checkouts but it’s all I want to use now. Change is not always easy but necessary. There are still lots of jobs available if people will just look for them and nobody sneezing in their hands and touching my groceries before I take them home. Thanks Walmart.

The overall shopping experience at this Walmart absolutely sucks. Not only do the employees follow you around watching your every move, when you ask an associate for assistance with anything they respond with horrible attitudes. I shop here because it's the only Walmart within an hours distance. However I would not recommend shopping at this location, I would recommend you drive to either Lacrosse or Dubuque as it will be a much more pleasant shopping experience.

Since is next to customer service please. Because this big lady is always sitting there listening to every personal problem that customers try to solve, very uncomfortable for customers give personal data/information and this lady is always listening with no shame, sometimes interrupting when the worker is helping your customer too.

When I first walked in I noticed the music it was very nice a calming. I also noticed how clean it was. The store is massive but it’s is easy to find things with the big signs that they have. The workers were very friendly and willing to help. Definitely recommend stoping here!

My husband was there today to return an HP computer he bought yesterday. When purchasing, he clarified with the clerk, he had a 30 day return policy. (no strings attached were mentioned ) Today at the return, the clerk was "crabby" and seemed to take the return personally. She asked four or five times, "What is wrong with it"? --  nothing, it didn't fit my needs and was redundant with my tablet I had already.  Next next her comment was. "you know we can't resell this right?" I am sorry, but I don't believe that is my problem and I am sure it may be on the clearance rack and Walmart will make a nice profit.
I suggest Walmart be a bit kinder, with the new lovely #TJMaxx in Prairie Du Chien offering a wonderful, soft goods and array of specialty foods, Walmart is NO Longer the only retailer in town!!

Bathrooms are very dirty. It's hard to find help when you do they say it's not my department.  There shelf's are usually not stocked. The shelf price is usually not the price it rings up at the checkout.  I brought this up with a manager a few months ago.  He actually told me to take a picture of the shelf price. That way, they could change the price at the checkout. So I asked him to repeat what he said. I was shocked and had to make sure I heard him correctly.

I have had good experiences shopping at Walmart they need more associates walking the floors associates are usually friendly and helpful I do not mind the self check out . Most staff are very knowledgeable to where a product is at thank you Walmart for all you do and charities you donate to

Spent 2 hrs picking up groceries. Asked several employees for help with locating product or for getting item down from top shelves.  Employees stated they were busy,Didn't know  or I should ask someone else
. When I finished shopping I went to check out and pay for my items i found long lines at both ends with self checkouts. Half of the other checkouts were taped off and said they were closed. I went into one that had 4 employees standing in front of it talking. One of the ladies said. "We are not opening any registers tonight. You have to self check."
At that point I had had enough. I left the cart sitting there and walked out.
What happened to.opening a register if more than 3 people were waiting?
I went to HyVee and purchased my items. Everyone there was happy to help me.

Put in more self check out lanes. Love doing the work your staff should be doing. Have to locate my own stuff. Have to price check it. Then have to check it out and bag it. Then I may even have to be loss prevention and show you my receipt for my items. What next? Do you need help cleaning the toilets? Sure looks like it.

Also, why are your staff reaching over to the screens and tapping the 5 star review? It has happened to me several times, I have seen others do it and that is just dishonest. Is corporate instructing them to do it?

Just bought $140 worth of stuff and there was only one employee manning a check out lane at a busy time of day. I spotted more than a few handicapped and elderly people who could really use a personal checkout experience. Then there multiple teenage employees watching the us all do self checkout. Seriously? What a horrible position you are putting them in! I will not be back.
