I went in to the Clearlake Shell Station in Springfield, IL to get lottery tickets, abt 6:20 pm on Wed, June 30th. The gas pumps were busy.  There was one person in front of me, the cashier (Cheyenne) had her cell phone ON SPEAKER talking to a friend while waiting on customers!  When it was my turn, she said hold on a minute (to me) and she did some calculating on her phone while the friend continued to talk to her!  I wanted tickets, so I told her what I wanted; she told her friend to " hold on a minute" and she waited on me, all the while the friend was talking non-stop.  I could not believe how UNPROFESSIONAL this cashier was!  There were 2 more customers behind me and I'm sure they heard the same things I heard and got the same bad service.  This employee needs disciplined!  If this is what goes on when there is no supervision there, I will NOT be returning to this station!

I swear, as gas prices go up, service goes down. I spend SO MUCH MONEY go gas, the least you can do is have window fluid and paper towels. NONE of the stations have this. Get it together big oil. You can steal from our pockets but at least give us window fluid.

I work here so I could admittedly give a best rating but it would be a lie.  New owners have cut hours to barebones and fight us to get our equipment running. Our registers are constantly screwing up, and the pump printers need replaced because they're out of date and not upgradeable.

My cashiers do they're best, but when you're cutting help and maintenance hours too keep the store stocked and outside clean and then blame us for sales being down it's a wonder any of us are willing to come in and get screamed and tore down from the animosity we receive regularly.

I went in to get coffee. I fell in front of the cash register. The floor was wet. No wet floor sign. The cashier looked over the desk and said be careful the floor is wet. Never asked if I was ok. My leg is hurting soo bad now. I will never go back there again.

Had to stop here to make use of the bathroom and the main area of the store is amazing and in good condition as well as good quality gas the bathroom is in poor condition, rather unsanitary looking and covered in vulgar graffiti.

Gas prices are usually cheaper than the truck stop down the road and the staff are ALWAYS friendly. They also have pellet ice for fountain drinks. Love this place

Best place to stop and grab a fountain ski in bond county.  Workers keep it a nice clean store as well.

Clean gas station and convenience store stocked with snacks and cold.beverages. Very good gas prices and top tier Shell fuel.

The people that work at the Dairy Queen are awesome the food is awesome the gas station is very clean but do not use the car wash that is self automated I unfortunately put $5 in expecting to get $5 and change out so that I could wash my car by hand but instead it would not give me my money back so I took my car through the car wash machine and it caused so much damage to my paint job as well as a few small dents of my Dodge Charger and I'm going to have to have my entire car painted do not use the self- automated car wash at all I know they give you warnings for this stuff but do not take your nice car through this machine it will destroy it completely destroy it and the worst part is there's nothing that can be done about this even on their security cameras it will show all of this happening but that's why they put the warnings up so that it covers their butts $7,000 in Damages that's how much it will cost to repaint my car and repair the small dents do not use this car wash it is garbage it is meant for cleaning off tractors or perhaps taking in Dirty Old refrigerators or something and setting them inside of the Bay that's about the value of this car wash $7,000 in Damages

Great food and customer service. The Elderly woman that works in the morning she is the best,very friendly.

Now this is one to keep under the sleeve, great staff, full service truck stop and good food. Plenty of parking and a Motel right next door. You can't complain about it.

Horrible customer service and overpriced; no idea why anyone would even stop here, especially truckers, they didn't even have any hot food.  Much better off going to the Dixie one exit down; they at least had roller grill items and the cashier was nice.

horrible paid 2 times for my purchase. showed the payment on the card and he said it failed and I will get a refund, i didn’t. made me pay again. horrible customer service hate this.

We purchased a used (like new) stair lift from Chuck over the phone. Chuck and his helper, Randy were very courteous, professional and friendly. They arrived punctually and completed the project very quickly. It was a pleasure doing business with Chuck. This was the last of our projects to enable us to age in our home. We were involved in a single vehicle mishap on our way home at 2am-ish after vending at the Boone Co. Fairgrounds,  flea show 3pm to midnight. We parked at this Shell station after realizing we couldn't drive back home to Hanover Park because of flat tires. The station opened at 5am. My husband and I slept in the car, on the lot for 3 hours. At 5am my Mister, Dennis, approached the attendant,

Can't buy a car wash at the pump - need to buy gas, then go inside to buy car wash.

The car wash itself looked very dirty and old. My car got cleaned, so it did the job. But I was kinda grossed out.

OMG...the manager at this location is awful! Her and the cashier were swearing and talking about the customers in such a derogatory manner that I left my stuff on a display and walked out. There were 5 people in line and these 2 employees were just ranting and raving about a woman at the pump. Who treats their customers that way? It's such a shame that my company has an account with them. I will go out of my way to never stop at this location again.

The guy helping the customers around 620 pm have to be remove or retrained i ask him if have to put my number in the machine to get the discount  he tell me to shut up very rude he have to know how to respect  ill never go again inside  if he is going to be that rude to me to avoid problems...

Wish I could give 0 stars as a rewards member and part of a company thats uses Shell Fleet Fuel I have NEVER been more disappointed and treated ao disrespectfully. Try to enter my rewards number and the pump continued to bring me back to the start when I selected no wash not even coming to a scanning card option. When trying to explain to the cashier he was extremely rude cutting me off and stated its not that hard. This location has lost my company's business which in being someone who averages $300 in a month on my own in gas it was a big mistake to hire someone like him.

Personal Mobility

My wife had an accident and we needed a lift installed on our stairs.  After investigating and comparing all other options and getting quotes, Personal Mobility seemed the most cost efficient.  I was actually surprised at how inexpensively I could have one installed.  Their communication and follow up has been outstanding.  After a year we've been able to have them remove the lift and buy back at a rebate to us.  I was very happy with this service and wanted to recommend them to others in a time of need.

Bought a super high quality pre-used van from Gerry and I couldn't be happier. Great service, very pleasant and extremely professional. They go that extra mile so you won't have to. I highly recommend this place.

Friendly and willing to work with you to meet your needs. Rentals and vehicles to own they have a great inventory.  I purchased a wheelchair van for my dad and we both love it. I purchased a Dodge grand caravan with rear entry manual ramp. Works great!

I use a power wheelchair and have driven a modified van from my chair since 2009. I got a new wheelchair (Permobil F3) in December 2019, and I needed an EZ lock bracket installed on its base as well as the docking brackets (driver and passenger side) in my van moved so that I could start driving my van using my new wheelchair instead of having to transfer to my old wheelchair (which had an EZ lock on it).

I got a quote for around $1,500 from the monopoly Mobility Works in Plainfield, IL, and it seemed rather high. They also said that the final price might even be a few hundred higher if they had to put in more labor repositioning my van’s docking stations. Additionally, they took over an hour to get me the quote and they tried to sell me a new van in the process! I have had poor experiences with their company in the past.

EZ lock also gave me the contact info for Personal Mobility in Champaign. I called and spoke to the manager, Gary. He gave me a quote for about half the price, and he calculated the quote in under a minute while I was still on the phone with him. I happily chose to set up an appointment with Personal Mobility. It is located about an hour and fifteen minutes south of me.

Upon arriving, Gary and his assistant Bridget were incredibly courteous and professional. I was provided an alternate power chair to transfer to while mine was being worked on. They supervised my transfer in case I needed help. They bought me lunch since the visit ran through the lunch hour. THIS IS HOW CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE TREATED. Bridget provided me with an extra drink when mine ran out.

They ran into some difficulties and even though the lock held my chair in, both Gary and the technician (I’m so sorry that I didn’t catch his name) didn’t feel right about the level of safety it provided. Apologizing profusely, the manager requested that I come back the following week so they could redo the job differently to ensure my safety.

I returned one week later to the same friendly, professional, and courteous treatment. Bridget ensured my transfer to an alternate chair went safely and she picked up lunch for me when it became evident I would again be there over the lunch hour. She was very knowledgeable about several disability topics when I asked her for information. I have been to offices where the doctor or services are decent but the receptionist is awful, and the whole office and customers suffer for it. Pleasantly, this office is not like that at all. Bridget was very busy with endless phone calls coming in, which were handled professionally and courteously, and yet she made sure that I was taken care of during my long wait as well. Her compassion and friendly demeanor made my experience more comfortable. She was definitely an asset into making my two-visit ordeal so pleasant.

The technician who did the actual work installing the bracket on my chair and moving my van docking stations was phenomenal as well. He didn’t want to “hurry up, get the job done, and move on to the next customer”, which is an impression I have gotten at other facilities. He questioned me extensively and made sure that my positioning was not just adequate, but was exactly what I wanted and needed before he repositioned the bases in my van. He took a lot of time making sure it was what I needed. I appreciated him greatly.

The manager Gary was a great guy. He made me feel like I was a priority and a valued customer. And for the first time in quite a while I did NOT feel taken advantage of. People with medical needs already have huge expenses for equipment to help maintain their independence. Sadly it seems as though companies that provide these much-needed services are few and far apart. It seems as though the big chains, such as Mobility Works, know that they are the ONLY choice in the area - so they have little motivation to provide competitive, fair prices or customer services. Personal Mobility, on the other hand, was such a pleasant and appreciated surprise. I will recommend them to anyone. The drive is worth it, and I will be a customer for life.

We could not have asked to be treated any better.  They were concerned with every side of the installation and that we were happy with the lift.  It has been a life-savor when it comes to taking the wheel chair in and out of the van.  I have recommended United Access to several people.  We would buy again from United Access.

Do Not Go There!!
The MAN behind the counter is completely rude. I don't know if he's a racist or what. I was trying to ask him pricing on curtain services they offer and he wouldn't even look at me, even showing the slightest interest in taking my money.
And I need it all done on my vehicle. Tires, brakes, oil change.
I will just take it elsewhere and give them my money.
I would not recommend!!!

Do they help a lot of people out who can’t afford new stuff? Sure. Are they going to save you money? Probably. I went here hoping to do just that. But it quickly became a scenario where I ended up spending more than I would have new. I live an hour away so when I purchased a used tire here and the guy said “if you have any issues with the tire bring it back”, I left confident that there surely was some process by which they had a good idea I wouldn’t be encountering that issue. Like why would you keep tires you know had issues when you took them off the vehicle? So I drove one hour away and had a local place install it only to find it had a hole. I come back here and the guy in charge kept trying to tell me that the definition of a used tire is that it might have holes and plugs in it. Well thats my definition of a junk tire. They acted like I was asking to much to have a different one put on and then the guy who did put it on expected a tip for them honoring their warranty. It was quite off putting but I may use em again in a pinch.

We blew a tire late in the day. They fit us in no problem, they made the stressful situation feel much more relaxing. Prices are fantastic and service was quick. In and out back on the road in less than 30 minutes. Best customer service for auto care in champaign. 100% recommend. If I could leave more stars I would.

Check your tires before you leave. They put a directional tire going backwards. They did fix it a week later at no cost so I was happy about that. Just make sure to double-check because mistakes happen. Other than that my only other issue is the uncertain pricing. Paid 60$ for a severely cupped tire but then paid 50$ the next visit for a tire in much better condition. Service is fairly quick, staff is friendly

Pretty good coffee for being a Circle K - it always seems to be pretty fresh. If you're a regular, they tend to give you some little breaks on the coffee prices now and then too which is nice. Friendly clerks usually - it's always nice to see a smile at 4:30 am. My favorite place to have a cup of coffee that early in the day.

We refilled at this location but did not patronize the convenience store. Fast pumps in a well lit lot. She'll gasoline products with Top Tier Fuel. Prices are in the normal range for the area, cheaper than stations east of this location. Easy to get in from wb 38

The pump kept shutting off even though the tank wasn’t full. It was also pumping very slow.

Last Night. 2/28/2022 I tried to purchase gas from this shell gas station  and  tried to pay with card at the pump  ,but it kept telling me to go inside and see a cashier   So went inside and prepaid for my gas,  with the same Bank card
Got the gasoline
Went Home
30 minutes later. I get email from the Bank
Saying Verify suspicious debit card activity
My card was skimmed

I agree with other reviewers that the staff is great and very attentive. Particularly Bethany when I was there, she was exceptional and I would prefer to come and support this location, knowing that the employees care about their customers. Also I really like the selection of items at their convenience store. Drinks, snacks, even cute summer apparel. They also have the car wash that is soft touch and touch free options. I had my car was there and was very happy with it, I will go back again.

I was at another shell station, closer to us, this was the day before, there I had a bad experience. I bought a Supreme car with my gas but the machine stopped working in the middle of the soap. This Shell is the one located at the corner of 75th and Rickert/Plainfield-Naperville. The employees there was not helpful when I need assistance and they refused to give me a credit or refund for the broken wash machine. I will not support this Shell in the future.

If I can’t pay at the pump then I’m going to go to another gas station. There is literally a speedway less than a quarter mile down the street. I can pay at the pump there.

Several pumps not working. Card readers getting stuck. When you go inside,  staff shows no care or concern - just tells you to move to another pump,  and try again!!!
