I had Wingers tonight for dinner. I ate boneless wings for once to try them and they are very good. I mixed mild and butter garlic sauce. ♥️ the traditional wings are super big and always a favorite. We had the beer battered fries with nachos cheese and it’s sooooo good. Wingers is under new ownership and has changed a lot. The weird statues out front make it look terrible. The food quality has really gone down with the new ownership. The tables inside don’t match and the red chairs are different and don’t match the atmosphere but that’s just my opinion. I would eat here again regardless because the traditional wings are amazing!
This is the first time we’ve been here in a couple years. My wife and I decided to go here on a Friday afternoon around 1:30-2:00. We figured it wouldn’t be busy and it had been a while and we were both craving their delicious food. Unfortunately we were disappointed. There were about 15-20 patrons total in the building when we got there, most had there food already. I ordered 10 wings hot with a side of ranch, my wife ordered a Philly Cheesesteak, we both got an order of fries, and both had an iced tea. The food seemed to take longer than normal, my wings were “okay “, but not near as good as normal. My wife’s Philly was “okay” as well. The fries were very disappointing, they use to have an almost deep fried caramelized taste to them and were the best around, but not anymore, they were just okay like the other food. To make matters worse, the amount of fries we got were not nearly as much as the other times we’ve been here. The iced tea was kind of bland, and the service was not really there either other than to take our order and drop off our food, no refills. The price for the above was $48.00! We both felt disappointed when we left and talked about it in the car, it was just an okay experience and no where near a normal visit to this once iconic local restaurant. I told my wife there is no way the same guy still owns this… After some research I found that it sold in 2022 (I believe), which explains a lot. We won’t be going back.
Poor service, food is overpriced and over cooked, rude staff, they also charge you a % of your bill if you use a card. This place was bad with the old owners and it’s even worse with the new owners. To get the full experience grab a bag of Tyson chicken nuggets, put them in the microwave for 15 minutes, have your mother in law serve them to you like she’s pissed about something and then throw away $45
Food was meh. The waitress was awesome!! I got a cheeseburger. It was good, but the bun fell apart as soon as I touched it. Old? Stale? I don't know. I think a steamer drawer would fix that. My husband got boneless wings, and he didn't finish them. He disliked them so much that he wouldn't even take the rest home. We ordered onion straws. They were good. If they did away with the pre-made frozen foods and made their own, we would give it another try.

For as slow as it was, the service was even slower. Nice folks so they got a 3 instead of lower
