Windy was bought by Max Air who was then bought out by ProZone. If you had a service agreement with Windy it is NOT honored by ProZone .
When our air stopped working, both blower and cooling unit yesterday evening, we assumed we'd be out of commission for the next few days, not a fun prospect in the Vegas heat. But they answered the phone outside of normal business hours at around 6am this morning, and had someone ready to come out between 12 and 2 (who also showed up at 11:30, huge kudos for coming early when available). They send out a text with the picture and a bio of your tech, as well as a tracker so we can see how long it will take for the tech to arrive, which is super cool. Love that service.
Thomas, our tech, was awesome! He was knowledgeable and laid out as much information as possible, so we knew the how and why of what was happening. It didn't feel like it was a hard sell of things we didn't need in order to boost profits, which unfortunately is always a risk.
All in all, 10/10 experience! Fast, friendly, professional, and reasonable pricing, what more could you ask for?
My air conditioner went out on Saturday July 3 (of course on a holiday weekend). A friend of mine recommended Windy City so I called them about 5:30 pm and they said they would call me on Sunday July 4th at 8 am to set up a time for a tech to come out (this is the point where I know it’s going to cost a fortune due to it being a holiday and on a Sunday). Windy City called at 8 am and the tech was at my home before 9 am. Thomas was awesome - very professional, great personality and didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need. He had my air conditioner up and running in less than an hour and it didn’t break the bank. I don’t write many reviews but the outstanding customer service from Windy City went above and beyond my expectations. When you run a business and put your customers first - without seeing it as an opportunity to make a few extra bucks - that to me is first class service. I will recommend this company to everyone and will continue to use them in the future. Thank you!!!
I believe in preventive maintenance, so I called a company I used last year to check my AC and furnace, and to my surprise they said they were going out of business. I asked if they could recommend another AC/HVAC company; they recommended Windy City. I called Windy City and joined its Premier Club to have spring and fall inspections. Windy City did a great job, and the technician was thorough and professional. I am a very satisfied Windy City customer, and you will be too!
Contacted Vern, he came as a referral, and I am so grateful. He came right out and was extremely professional, knowledgeable and their services were at a fair price. (I shopped around and they were the most comprehensive and at the right price) Vern explained in detail what would be needed to get my air conditioning/furnace system back on line. The team that came out, special thanks to Andy, Bruce and Juan, these guys were terrific. It was a big job, but they worked late and non stop until it was completed. Excellent customer service, I highly recommend this company and team!
