Westwood Ace Hardware

I like the the location in westlake. It saves me trips to Sulphur or Lake Charles. I bought a wheel barrel on this trip. I bought a few other items too, One item did not have a scan code on it that was another 5 minutes for them to figure that out.

Went in 10 minutes before closing and the employees were counting their drawers , I was told I can't use cash only card I was like all I have is cash and I was told they didn't except cash 10 minutes beforevthey close soy question is is that policy ? Because I've never heard that before anywhere my thought is they had counted the till early and didn't want to redo I was wad pissed because I needed oil for my truck and they had a deal on it so I tried my best to make it there before they closed only to be told I couldn't buy it unless i had a card not cash is that something new that stores are doing or is that the employees closing early and not wanting to have to recount the drawers i am really upset and will not be going back

The workers are kind and always greet you at the entrance. Also, they are optimistic and hardworking people. The inside is small but quant. I wish they would make fresh popcorn daily or have a lumber yard. My husband surprised me today they sharpened many kitchen knives with a laser machine. I find myself in the BBQ area looking at the unique spices, I love this store.

I was looking for a part to repair my Mom’s appliance, got help from a young man working in the store. He gave me his opinion, recommendation, and then I received good service from the cashier; professional and friendly.

Great selection of items, helpful staff! They always go out of their way to help.
