Is it really so much to expect a little politeness from the cashiers ?. I have been a customer here for years and recently have seen a decline in the level of service. There is never anywhere near a sufficient number of cashiers but lower level managers stand around in groups chatting while the lines grow longer. Why is there 3 door greeters and one cashier ?,I experienced this on Saturday about noon.
The level of incompetent employees astonish me. My husband brought a Similac coupon in and not only the cashier didn't believe it was real so did the manager. Then a more competent manager came over and fixed the issue. They were astonished it was real what a joke.
The managers of the Kenai store do not care about senior, disabled shoppers. They post a early morning "quiet time" for us but lock the small, easy to push carts in the liquor store. They tell me the small carts are being discontinued. Ridiculous! They need sensitivity training along with how to excel at customer service.
Used to be a great place... Keyword used to. Over the last few years the current manager.. JASON has destroyed this store... they contantly get rid of things that sell quickly, and they fail to restock things for months on end. They then blame either shipping or manufacturing when safeway across the street has what they no longer carry,.... I could make lists of items theyve gotten rid of over the years that would just fly off the shelves... its like ordering more a product is a burden.... to a store... lmao. Anyways... If you want cheap food theyre great but if they carry an item you really like just count your days because i promise itll be gone a year later to never return. Thanks Jason
Store was relatively clean, but you can tell they are feeling the effects of reduced staffing. Also tends to be picked over almost every time we go in there.
