Walmart Supercenter

Due to improper management, zoning, and loss prevention procedures numerous food and facility safety hazards persist in this store. Empty product displays are used to fill space where stolen merchandise packaging is discarded and ignored by staff. The staff themselves will regularly open products and mark them on clearance for themselves. Merchandise is regularly primed to be stolen using overstuffed shopping carts with high price point items in plain sight of management and loss prevention. The thefts are carried out by known, repeat offenders, and this is facilitated by poor hiring standards that promote gang infiltration throughout the store. This location is a loss leading store and a prime candidate for an inside theft ring organized by a group like the Simon City Royals or Gangsta Disciples. Several of who work throughout different points in the store, and I would assume management. Overstocked merchandise is strewn haphazardly on carts, at workstations, and on the floor. Bait shrimp are left to rot on the shelves. Freezers regularly malfunction and thaw leading to massive waste and food health concerns. Produce is improperly stored and exposed to fungal and bacterial contamination at the risk of employees and the general public. Raising concerns and whistleblowing is met with retaliation and immediate firing. There is no functional HR or sincere employee representatives in management. The General Manager is cruel, inefficient, and creepy. Incapable of taking responsibility for the corrupt environment he has created, he places blame on the employees that he harasses and mistreats. Regularly threatening their livelihoods and targeting them based on hardship. This is a person whose idea of a good work ethic is remembering to iron his silk shirts, jnco jeans, and pretending to be a member of the Deftones. The Assistant Manager is inept and absolutely clueless about what to do with his hands but eat Michelina's meals with them from a trough like a Captain Planet cartoon villain. Looking at either of the two you can see that their hardwork and years of experience have culminated in impending Diabetes Type 2, and likely a criminal investigation at some point.

Use to be a nice store but frequently messy- not sure if it's the customers fault or just not enough employees to keep everything clean. They do have the nicest employees. I hate self checkout and can't stand when they don't have a cash option

Simple, convenient, and easy to navigate super-center with a wide variety of goods to choose from in various departments. Helpful, friendly staff and a well-organized management team make this one of the "better quality" Walmart stores on the gulf coast. The only suggestion I have, would be to open more register lanes to reduce the backed-up lines at the self-checkout areas. Overall 4/5 stars

The OGP absolutely sucks. Of my 13 items ordered, I received 10. They claimed 2 were unavailable and 1 they charged me for but failed to give it to me. I went into the store and grabbed the 2 items they said weren't available. I'm going to assume the shopper just didn't want to walk to the other side of the store.. As for the $30 bag of dog food I was charged for but never received, I'm waiting for a refund and will have to make another trip back for it. I rarely do pickup orders, I only did because it was convenient for my situation. Thanks for making it completely inconvenient.

I have been to this location many times and had good experiences and multiple times. The staff always seems friendly and willing to help. Like most walmarts they have a wide variety of just about everything you can think of. This one in particular seems to be a very well stocked. Overall a good experience here.
