Walmart Supercenter

Wow!! Just WOW!! I have pulled away from Walmart over the last few years simply because of below standard customer service. I'll be honest with you, this Walmart still lacked manned checkout lanes BUT...I saw something that I have not seen since the 90s. I saw, with my own two eyes, two of the cashiers come to the edge of the aisles asking customers if they were ready to check out. I swear!! I have not seen this since they first became a Super Store. This particular Walmart is different from its counterparts because it's inviting!! I was pleasantly surprised by how bright, roomy and clean it was. It looks as though it received a much needed overhaul and it looks great. Walmart, as a whole, has branched out into other brands...to include Reebok! Of course, each store sells according to the demographics of the area. This store is selling its aesthetics and it is working! Other stores should definitely follow suit. Even if I lived closer to another Walmart, I would definitely choose to drive to the one in Tuscaloosa 😁. Check out my pictures and if that isn't enough...go see for yourself! It's obvious someone is paying attention to the Curbside Pickup. They spent money on a whole new set up. The setup is nice with far more Curbside Pickup spaces. But if you didn't spend money on hiring more people to get the orders pulled and brought out, that to me was a waste. Curbside Pickup is a growing business for Walmart, why not invest in the people to make it more efficient. Give the employees an incentive to get the orders pulled and brought out fast. Right now, it's costing Spark drivers money having to sit and wait.

All I have to say is, Sam Walton would be extremely disappointed. I've noticed they no longer have the vests that say "how may I help you". It's fitting too because the workers here have zero notion to help a soul. I don't feel up to typing what exactly has happened on our pasts visits, but worthless employees is the best way to describe our visits. And for those reasons, I'm out!!!

We might as well be getting paid to ring up our own groceries. Lines always full doesn't make sense for us to have to shop in the store plus have to ring everything up. Like do anyone work anymore. I hate having to go to Wal-Mart...

I understand they just reorganized the store but to me it's chaotic! Then I attempted to use my Walmart+ account and checkout through the app. It declined all cards. As I was waiting for assistance, the lady walked past me numerous times and help others people who just walked up. When I finally got the screent to go away so I could check out, it rang items up twice which made it where I had to wait for assistance again. It was a $h!t show!
