This was my first time in the Wetumpka Walmart. Stopped through while heading to the casino. I typically frequent the Neighborhood ones but this one was nice, clean, and well stocked.
Loved the convenience of the store and how neat and clean everything was. The employees were professional and helpful.
Hi! It's hard to get my milk out of your refrigerator. There's NO HANDLE to open the door. It's been this for a while. Can you fix it, please? Otherwise, I can find what I need no problem. Light on cash register says we are open. When I got there, there was no cashier. I saw two workeres on the other side of the register. I was calling, who's ever line I was in,I figured they couldn't see me because I was short.
Then the guy told the girl I was in her line. She still took her time getting to her register.
Came in Sunday afternoon around 2 to buy a present before a birthday party. Waited in line for self checkout while about 15 employees just walked around doing absolutely nothing.
The short burnette white lady who was helping people by the entrance in front of the Mapco side brought another woman in front of us because I'm assuming their machine stopped working. It's fine, I didn't mind, she left and I went up and started scanning because the kiosk became open, the employee yelled at me that this guy with a buggy full was next after I had waited in line. I said no, I was next in the line and I'm in a hurry. She started arguing then gave me the worst attitude when I was leaving and very snidely told me to have a "beautiful day". I was obviously the next in line and it was already taking way too long because people were having to check themselves out.
If you have this many people walking around maybe throw them on a register so we don't have to have interactions like this one. And maybe don't hire people like her if she hates her job so much. You shouldn't have to make people wait, let alone yell at them for literally no reason.
Went through self checkout. Only had a few items. Used register nearest door so I could be seen. Leaving, I had my receipt visible in hand. The man asked to see my receipt and took it out of my hand. Didn't even look at it. Handed it back. IF YOU DON'T TRUST US TO SELF CHECK OUT. PLEASE REMOVE SELF SERVICE LINE. I AM FRUSTRATED.
Need to have many more cashiers open. Nobody wants to wait to pay. We are not your employees. We will not use self checkout if we have many items. There are always employees milling around doing nothing, but don’t open cash registers. Don’t be surprised if customers walk out with full buggies without paying, especially since your greeters do nothing but stand there. Wise up!
