Walmart Express Mérida Oriente

We finally stopped in to Check it out, tons of items cramped into a medium size store. The produce looked fairly good.

As it name states, express, is like a mini Walmart. has a good location right next to Sams Club and what ever you didn't find at Sam's you can find here.

I have been going once a week for the past 5 years for fresh vegetables and fruits, they usually are all there by 11AM. They also have imports like Hellmann's Mayo, Brianna salad dressings, some Asian foods, and Italian pastas . The clerks are usually courteous but I really miss the grocery baggers.

This is a nice, upscale supermarket with an excellent selection of cheeses, liquor, produce etc. Also handy that it's located right next door to Sam's Club so you can all your shopping done in one stop

Went on grand opening on Friday November 27th. Very modern looking store, well stocked with more items to come. Amazing fruit and vegetable section with lots of choices not found under one roof in Merida. Bakery has a lot of options to pick from at good prices. Meat section was well stocked with a ton of choices. Prices are those found at normal Walmart stores but this is only a food store. Very bright and clean and well laid out. Love it and its only 2 blocks from my house, just what we needed in this space and also provide some competition for the Soriana one plaża over. Over all super happy to see it open.
