Waldorf Martial Arts

Our family moved to MD from overseas during COVID. We enrolled our daughter to help her transition to a structured environment to prepare her for kindergarten. Our expectation was she would gain some friends and learn to follow a structured schedule. The outcome was all of us getting involved and gaining a family and lifelong friendships at this incredible facility. You're not just a customer here, you're part of a movement and part of the family 🥰

My son is in Little Dragons and I love how the instructors are with the kids. They're so gentle and encouraging and seem to genuinely enjoy teaching little kids. The structure is great for shy kids who might be a little scared to get in class and the system they developed keep the kids excited about their progress and work. I can't wait for my daughter to be old enough to go. She's 2 and wants to go out when we watch my son.

My family has been practicing TKD at Waldorf Martial Arts for over 10 years. Both my grandsons earned their black belts there and continue to practice the tenants of leadership, sportsmanship and citizenship that both Grandmaster's John and Debbie Cavanaugh teach. All the instructors are exceptional in their practice of the art and instuction. I am a retired Marine Corps officer who has observed and participated in numerous physical and leadership programs. The Waldorf Martial Arts Program is by far one of the best. I believe so much in the program that both myself and my two daughters are now students.

My family and I (5 people) all take classes ranging from the little dragons program, juniors, and adult. We couldn't be happier with the experiences we are taking from the school. All of the instructors are well educated in martial arts and take time to help each individual person. We have all learned a lot, not only in martial arts, but life skills like confidence and perseverance.The school is like a second home and we are glad to call everyone who attends our family.

My mom and I watched my grandchildren test for their belts in Taekwondo. They are both black belts and have been doing this for quite awhile. This is the first time for mom and I to witness their growth doing this. We are so proud of all their achievements.
