We ate here out of desperation when lots of other restaurants in Cuenca were full, so we weren't expecting much. Excellent service and delicious food were therefore a pleasant surprise - highlights of the meal included the croquetas, stuffed lettuce leaves, and a gorgeous chocolate plate for dessert.
We loved loved loved this restaurant so much. The food is simply amazing. We went twice in a three week period. Our server, Fatima, was the icing on the cake and made the meals a complete experience. On our first visit, we reserved and tried the 6 course tasting menu with the accompanying wine. Wow!!! Really truly spectacular. This was our first time at a Michelin star restaurant and we were blown away. At a weekend away in Madrid we tried another, and it didn't compare to Trivio or Fatima's attentive service. On our second visit we ate in the outer portion of the restaurant, and we were still completely pleased. Make sure to visit when in Cuenca! It's a must for fine cuisine.
Good quality food in a small downtown restaurant, young chef. Very good and attentive service. Interesting flavoury dishes. Specially good for me the ravioli and the hake. The 9 steps menu a bit heavy (lamb as main meat, soup of pigs trotter plus home made foie mi-cuit). I would have appreciated a bit more time between the steps. Super good value for money. Cheapest 1 Michelin I've been to. Certainly recommended.
I wanted to taste those famous croquettes but despite its delicate flavor and texture, I expected more. The Vietnamese nem was just interesting. Although there were more dishes to try I think I've got the point. In addition, from my point of view it is some overpriced so I think I'm not going to come back
We sat at the barra,
The food was excellent especially the steak (T bone) and the gyoza,
The desert of cheescake de cabra had too much strong taste.
But in general it was excellent.
