I had been talking to another company for months as our home was being built. Last minute we decided to go with Titan (BIG MISTAKE!). They were able to fit us in their schedule sooner (which dragged out to be a lot longer). The price was lower at first but once we changed the style it was about the same as the other company. Also, the salesperson seemed really open and honest. Which I feel that was the major factor for our decision. As the job started, they were minor issues here and there. The real issue started once they completed the project. Two days after the completion, we noticed the wood bowing. We left the salesperson a voicemail. By then obviously our check for the balance had cleared. We had also just paid someone to repair all the drywall and the paint damage that was created by the demo and installation. They got back to us on Monday, since our voicemail was on Saturday. They did have multiple managers come and inspect. The managers at the time said that they will cover our drywall repair cost. Once they did repair the warped area, it was a different song and a dance. They wanted a receipt and since we had not anticipated on this happening, we did not get one. Obviously it was repaired when they had to tear it all apart again and damage it all over again. Therefore we had to hire our drywall and painters back again to repair our walls. They also were complaining that they lost money on the project, which is super hard to believe after what it really cost us! Not to mention all the delays which delayed our move and created more expenses for us. To top it all, we are still getting cracks out of nowhere in the wood (last picture). Please do not waste your money and time with them! If you are considering other companies like I did, don’t fall for the honest and sincerity of the salesperson. There is nothing honest about them! They use a wood that they damn know it has moisture in it. They make promises that they don’t deliver. And the quality and the workmanship is so bad that you have to constantly walk on eggshells that it may get damaged!!
UPDATE: The warranty manager Mike, he is very nice. They actually came and fixed all of our issues. They were very respectful and understanding to my health issues and made sure to minimize creating dust and anything that would affect me to the best of their abilities. (I really appreciated that!)
The only reason that I’m still not giving them 5 stars is that we still did not get the reimbursement of our drywall repairs as we were promised we would.
We absolutely LOVE the way our stairs turned out! They do beautiful work & everyone was very pleasant to work with. Best of all, they showed up when they said they were going to & they got the job done in a timely fashion. Wish we could give them more stars!
I am so disappointed with the customer service of this company and I have not even gotten to the point where I have an estimate in hand. The sales pitch was great, but that was 2 months ago. We have since been trying to get a call back from the rep who came out. We still have not even gotten our estimate. I do not understand how a company can treat a potential customer like this. I have given them the benefit of the doubt more times than not. Unfortunately, I think it might be time to move on. We just don't know what else to do.
We hired this company to build new stair rails and stain them. They did the first coat of staining and have not finished the job. The bottom layer is showing all over the place and the rails look terrible. For several months we have been calling and emailing for them to finish and they say they will get back to us. They were paid in full and are not cooperating to complete the job. When you call the company, the voice mail cuts you off being unable to leave a message. The sales manager Danny Nelson is useless.

What a great product and crew was clean, nice and prompt. Wish I had more stairs to do. We went from the 80’s to present day with the changes made
