The UPS Store

When the new owners took over this UPS Store last year, we stopped receiving our magazines and catalogs. We had been renting a mailbox and receiving our mail here for 15 years and never had a problem of this kind before. We told them about it, but they claimed they were putting all of our mail in our box. So after over a year of not receiving all of our mail, we closed our mailbox here and changed our address, and voila, we began receiving our magazines again. Who knows what other mail we never received in our box. These new owners are actually committing an illegal act by not delivering all USPS mail. I would not trust them at all. Also, as other reviewers state, they are greedy by overcharging, as they more than doubled our monthly box fee when they took over. Needless to say, we do not recommend this UPS Store.

I am thoroughly disappointed to witness the decline of this UPS store, primarily due to exorbitant pricing and subpar customer service. Once regarded as one of the finest establishments throughout the state, this store's downfall began when the previous owners departed, leading to significant changes in its operations, particularly in terms of pricing and customer care. Regrettably, it has now skyrocketed to become one of the priciest UPS stores in the entire state, leaving me with no inclination to engage in any future transactions with them.

Ahmed is so rude! I’ve been going to this store for years, only for the convenience to my house. I’m done with Ahmed’s terrible attitude. The guy obviously hates his job and being in customer service. I think it burns him that so much of his business is Amazon returns. Stores do get business from. And, if he has a friendly personality, a good chance these Amazon customers would do business with him for other shipping and purchasing. I took his rudeness to me personally, until I read all the bad reviews with the same issue of his rude comments and anger written all over his face. One time I went in and was trying to pull up the Amazon return code. Ahmed doesn’t have internet in his store for his customers to use, and I made a comment that I was surprised as customers need. I wasn’t rude, simply made the statement. Ahmed was furious and told me I could go elsewhere. I stayed away for awhile for a good year and recently tried again. Each time very rude to me. Today, I had 2 packages to return. Accidentally I had one of the returns pre established for Kohl’s. Cancel the return, and re-submit using the UPS store. Ahmed came outside to tell me Kohl’s was just down the street and to go there. I don’t trust Ahmed with my returns and had hesitations to try his store again. Never Again! I have no idea how this man is able to keep his business running!

Overcharges!! They are consistently more expensive than online prices. I went in to mail a 2lb, 12x9x6 box, and was charged $22 for the cheapest ground option. Online, prices started under $10 and I said this. I was in a hurry and needed it done so I paid the $22. But from now on I'll only use this store for drop offs.

I called trying to get some information, and the person who answered the phone was immediately frustrated and hostile before I finished my question, and when I called back a second time to follow up the same individual was completely unhelpful, and eventually hung up on me when I repeated my question. I don’t know who’s being hired to work here but that was a horrible experience after a long day where the last thing I wanted was to be hung up on.
