The UPS Store

I needed a Notary today, due to my poor planning, not realizing it is Veterans Day and banks are closed. I did an internet search and found the UPS Store in my neighborhood. I have lived in the area and have used this store in the past. I was pleasantly surprised today to learn the store has a wonderful new owner. Patti, the new owner helped with my needs. They even went above and beyond to help me obtain the proper form I needed to have notarized. Apparently, the form I found on-line did not have the proper verbiage at the bottom that a Notary needs to do their job. The store was steadily busy for a Saturday morning, but we were promptly greeted and asked what service we needed. We were then told someone would be with us soon. Patti made our experience extremely pleasant. They offer a wide range of services from copying, printing, shipping and postal boxes, just to mention a few. I highly recommend this UPS Store.

Wanted notary service and the woman was very abrupt, refused to perform the service even though she was wrong in her understanding of what had to be done. Advised that banks no long notarize, which is incorrect. Very disappointed. Went to a bank and had no issues.

Extremely poor service using their notary. She saw on the paper the one spot she would sign and I had 2 spots. As I was signing my two, and she watched she then said “next time don’t sign before I do, what if I didn’t want to sign it?” Excuse me? You’re the professional, I obviously didn’t know the protocol and could have directed me. She was very unfriendly and unhelpful and I was charged $15 for the one signature. It left a very bad taste in my mouth, I should have thought twice. I also had to mail out the paper, that’s why I originally chose to get it done there. I wish I could get a refund.

The staff is always super helpful. I had an issue with Next Day delivery. The manager personally followed up three times to process my claim, confirm the claim had been accepted and confirm that I received the refund. Highly recommend.

This place is so fantastic. Sometimes when I have to mail things at an UPS store, I feel like I'm such a hassle to the employees and I don't even work there, but at this location- Chris and Josh are such a delight. They make having to do a chore a better experience. Always friendly, smiling and wanting to make sure they go out of their way to help you. Thanks guys- It's appreciated!
