Every year, I get a little help from Honeybaked Ham for Thanksgiving. This year I went to a different location than my normal Pineville-Matthews Rd shop. That was a mistake. The Woodlawn shop was a calamity of confusion at best. The pre-paid line is clearly marked, yet the individual guarding the door refused to acknowledge it's existence, insisting that anyone could use any line. Another employee inside corrected them, but she would not budge, going so far as to physically grab my arm to remove me from the line! I do not believe in causing a scene so I did as she asked and went back to the back of the single disorderly line and waited a 2nd time for my pre-paid food. All the while, we are treated to the delightful door guard's cigarette smoke to keep us company. Inside, it is discovered that many items have run out, even those that have already been paid for! Definitely a memorable visit, but for all the wrong reasons. I will stick to my old faithful location from now on.
