Hello, today I came in to purchase a sandwich for a very special lady. I bought the Taven Club and delivered it to a sweet older lady that checks in on my grandmother daily. She was so excited to see the bag and couldn’t wait to eat her sandwich. To say the sandwich was a disappointment would be an understatement:( She took a bite of the sandwich and had a funny look on her face and she laughed and said she must have gotten a bite with no meat in it. So she took another bite but she had the same reaction. I told her to open it up that maybe I got someone else’s order? She took the top bread off and there was a small piece of ham and a small piece of turkey on it! I was so embarrassed that I had bought this to her! She just laughed it off and said it had been a while since she had had a sandwich from there and maybe they had cut back on the portion size. It was pitiful! I felt so bad for her because she had been so excited and grateful when I surprised her with it. This definitely was not “piled high” with ham and turkey as stated on the menu. I have never eaten here before so I did not know what to expect but this pitiful amount was a shame especially for the price I paid. She has eaten here many times and said the sandwich had never looked like that before. All the employees were super nice. I did have to wait a bit which was fine. One employee saw me standing and waiting and asked nicely if I had been helped. I answered that I had and thanked her. She went down the hall and came back about 6 or 7 minutes later and asked if I was still waiting on my order and asked what I had ordered. I told her and she went behind the counter and asked about my sandwich. Another young employee looked up at me and said she was getting ready to make it. The other employee came back out and apologized for the wait and said it would be out shortly. I appreciated her checking on me. I was just really disappointed in the sandwich I delivered my sweet friend. I did take a picture of it if that would help anyone to improve things. Thank you.

I don't eat ham because I stay away from pork. But the Turkeys I had were so incredibly flavorful. Honestly they have the best Turkey and sides in town. Keep up the good work.

Came in to get some New Year’s Eve food but the service was sub par. They were not busy but when I came in, what I believe to be a new employee was eating on front counter which is not hygienic (gross and probably would be an issue with a food inspector). On top of that, she did not say hello or wash her hands but proceeded to open boxes. Also, I had tried to order online with getting a meat and four sides but the system would only let me pick the same two sides. So, when I went in today, I told them this (sees all the sides they typically have) and was told the system does not reflect what’s in the store. Well, HBH needs to fix that. HBH is usually a good place to go but this location needs a little more training and someone to fix the online ordering system.

We ordered over $200 worth of food. The side dishes were horrible ! It looked and tasted like the worst TV DINNER you have ever eaten ! We will never order the side dishes again.
