The Home Depot

We are currently renovating our kitchen. We paid the additional fee to have it professionally measured. The kitchen designer was great UNTIL we paid in full and ran into MANY problems. The items were delivered in 3 separate shipments 1 which was unscheduled. The window for the day of shipment is basically ALL DAY starting at 6am. The countertops were too long. The cabinets came without handles or pulls which were shown in the drawings however AFTERWARDS we were told that they would be extra. We would have gladly paid the fee as the cabinets and drawers do not open without them. Trying to get ahold of the sales man once he was paid was next to impossible. We had to get management involved and we are still waiting for resolution. We will NEVER do business with Home Depot again. I will only shop small businesses going forward where they actually care about the customer. I’ll definitely be contacting Home Depot’s corporate office once our credit card is credited for the items to be returned by no fault of our own. All I can say is buyer beware!!

Hermes the lumber associate was so helpful And so knowledgeable he helped me with everything I needed and stood with me the whole time answered all my questions and even gave me some tips on how to do my project. I will definitely be returning to the East Haven location.

Sal was super friendly and helpful! He helped us get the right cart for loading a heavy Hampton Bay patio set box. After helping us load, he asked if there was anything else we needed and said have a great day! Thanks Sal :D

Home Depot can have better customer service. I'm in construction and I need to be at work. I don't want to be waiting a half an hour for someone to wait on me or just tell me where to go to find what I need
