The owner was as fantastic as her food. Very kind and welcoming. The homey atmosphere.
Highly recommend the empanada. The flour used to make it was divine. The selections we’re not overly numerous, but the variety was great. There are not many places that our kids and us can both enjoy.
We got the pizza with the cauliflower crust, the falafel’s, a gourmet sandwich, and the southern American dish.
A great spot for gluten free dining! Highly recommend giving it a try. Not a place to go if you're in a hurry with a larger group. Handmade falafel was a nice appetizer. Very good sandwiches.
Delicious food! Being vegan, It was so nice to drive through on our road trip and find a healthier place to eat. Many vegan options, yeah! Cashew burger was one of the best ones I have had. She was really nice and did it on a gluten-free wrap for us. Also, someone said they have the best empanadas.
We will stop again on our next trip through.
The French fries were tasty and my partner liked her vegan burger, but the vegan falafel was inedible for me. The location is good, but the atmosphere inside is quiet, cold and not welcoming. You could hear every word from anyone in the restaurant. We left smelling like the grease fryer. Add some music, ventilation, and narrowing the menu down to some staples would improve the experience. I wouldn't recommend this spot as is.
I really hate giving this place only 3 stars but there is just a lot of things they can work on. My review is gonna be more of constructive criticism instead of just ripping into the establishment.
First of all, the wait time was very bad. my wife and I ordered food to go and it took almost 50 minutes before it was done, and not to mention there was only 3 other people in the entire restaurant. After working in the restaurant Industry I understand that this might be do to just lack of preparation and staff.
second thing is they had decorations that seamed very out of place and tacky with mismatched tables and chairs everywhere. Does not look like the owners have spent a lot of time caring about the environment and overall atmosphere their guests are eating in…which is a shame because there is a beautiful painting of old town Pocatello on the wall that they should work on making the centerpiece of the entire restaurant.
food however was actually pretty decent. The sweet potato chips were awesome and probably my favorite thing we ordered. the rest of our food was fairly good as well. I’d like to give this place another shot. I’ve seen some reviews about the deserts being really good so hopefully they can improve on the things I listed above if I decide to go back. I Could easily see this place being very popular if they could do some updates and get some staff working for them.
