Starbucks

It’s October 22nd. My wife and I have been in Europe for the last month, and everywhere we’ve been has been hot (major heat wave in Milan, and Sicily is still warm in mid October). So arriving in Barcelona on a somewhat chilly day, we were excited to embark on our annual tradition of marking the “start of fall” with a Starbys Pumpkin Spice Latte. Great we thought, there’s a Starbucks only a 13 minute walk away. They’re sure to have PSL’s! We get there, and the Pumpkin Spice Latte signage is everywhere! I got so excited and was even going to add a Pumpkin loaf to our order. We get to the register, and my wife (who speaks pretty good Spanish) says “Hola! Me gustaria un Pumpkin Spice Latte Venti”. The poor cashier responds back in Spanish that THEY ARE OUT OF EVERYTHING PUMPKIN. No pumpkin spice lattes, no pumpkin spice cold brews, no pumpkin loaf, no nothing!!! Keep in mind - this isn’t like a fruit with a very narrow window of being fresh… it’s a syrup! How could they run out of pumpkin syrup on October 22nd?!? The rest of our visit was lovely. Nice outdoor seating as well as a great seating area upstairs. But we ended up having to get a Cold Brew and Lemon Loaf. And while that was nice, it was very very disappointing. Not a bad spot, but keep your expectations low.

Their costumer service SUCKS!!! Takes 30 mins to get your order, tho. there’s not much people on the queue. Never dine here again.

On the afternoon of August 20, the lady with the uplifted eyeliner gave me a supercilious look when I order. And she dropped the coins to me from half a meter above the palm of my hand while giving me my change, which was a very memorable experience.

Starbucks it one of great café shop but sorry if i oder café without caffeine i should get without caffeine mybe that mistake could kill me

Friendly staff + service, unfortunately the table are not cleaned after used by former customers.
