Starbucks

This is such a fantastic Starbucks with super friendly and cheerful employees. Danny, Javier, Mari, and Mariana made the experience at this Starbucks a really welcoming and joyful stop to get started with the day. 😊👍🏼

Your typical Starbucks coffee is just like everywhere else. Located at sol square in Madrid. It's the same experience. Coffee is good.

During our initial visit to Madrid with my wife, we decided to grab coffee at Starbucks. It was our first time, and we were a bit uncertain about whether to pick up the food from the counter or ask the staff. Unfortunately, when my wife attempted to grab it, the manager rudely shouted, "No, you don't open this!" The staff at the till were unhelpful, leading to a disappointing experience. We won't be returning to this Starbucks.

I ordered an iced americano: tastes exactly the same as the ones back home. You can also get agua del grifo (tap water) for no charge. Service was friendly and helpful. Upstairs has great AC, plenty of outlets and seating, and a bathroom. It was a great place to beat the heat, get away from the crowds, and recharge our phones for a few hours. They didn’t accept the American Starbucks app so that’s the only downside.

I gave 20€ for a bottle of water. Yet they gave me a change for 10€. I was pretty sure its 20€ because i only had 20€ and 50€ on my wallet as i just withdrew from the atm. I even counted my money left on me after just to make sure and i was short by 20€. I said that I was sure it was 20€, but they insisted its 10€. I didn’t argue anymore, as its useless. But if they will look at the cctv im sure they will see its 20€. Im Asian, and i get this type of things in europe whenever i buy things, when vendors give change for a lesser amount of what I gave. But i didn’t expect it to happen at a Starbucks. So everytime you pay cash here, make sure you say the amount you are giving out loud when giving the money. That way they wont be able to confuse you.
