Starbucks

The Starbucks experience has its pros and cons. Unfortunately, the poor lighting makes it too dark for productivity, and some seats are persistently broken, with no repairs in sight for years. On the bright side, they're open when many others are closed, their location is convenient, and the staff is professional. They offer the largest selection of snacks, and surprisingly, their drinks taste even better than in other locations of the chain.

Comfortable ambiance, consistent coffee, reasonable size

The aggressive upsell discourse of the pushy employee at the cashier makes ordering a simple cup of coffee almost embarrassing. Only convenient if you order to go. The service does not reach the Starbucks standard, in my opinion. The baristas have no love for what they're doing or skills for it. They're clearly temporary workers with minimum training, making 6.5 euros per hour, roughly. Also, the WiFi does not always work if you think you can do anything other than checking-in and the place is infected with teenage locals and couples dating and being inappropriately intimate.

The baristas, especially Mia have no will to do the orders, our drinks were totally wrong, we got a dragonfruit coconut milk refresher with EXTRA dragonfruit and got no milk and NO dragonfruit, when we told the barista she just added milk, no dragonfruit and tastes like a totally wrong drink( pink refresher).There was also no one at the register and we had to wait. The tables are dirty not getting clean, the outcome is that I’m never coming back the serves is horrible!!!

📍Location: this cafeteria is located on the Rambla Catalunya, one of the busiest but definitely beautiful streets in Barcelona. It is a perfect pit-stop place when you are in the center running your business. It is a super nice cafeteria. 😋 Taste: it is a fall season and finally a Pumpkin Spice Latte arrived. So we took it, 1 normal latte, 1 lemon biscuit, 1 croissant. Everything was perfect. The only thing that Pumpkin Latte was too sweet for my taste. 💸 Price: so 2 drinks and 2 pastries cost around €11,5. Sometimes they have discounts. This time it was 50% off on drinks that was a great deal. ✨ Service: as always, guys were very friendly and attentive.
