UPDATE:
I'm updating my review because I was assuming the Superama grocery store across the street from this Sorina super store was like some others I've visited. However, it's not. It's old and lacks a lot of products. So, in that case Sorina super store is a lot better than that Superama that's across the street which is their competitor. I plan to only go to Soriana from now on. Also, Superama doesn't carry any more additional brands of peanut butter than Soriana does.
Original review:
I've been here twice so far. There are pros and cons, but I think more pros than cons.
Overall, there is good variety of products. As long as you are not comparing this store to Walmart or any other store that has a great amount of products.
The prices are average, but be careful when buying smaller sizes as the prices are a lot more than their competitor (superama). It seems larger sizes are better prices.
I do like the section that has international and organic products. It's worth checking out if you want to find something special you normally wouldn't purchase.
I do think their bakery products are a lot less than other stores.
Also, the deli/hot food/sandwich area is really nice and priced just right. There's pizza, deli sandwiches, rotisserie chicken and side dishes too.
So, overall worth checking out if you don't require a lot of specific branded products. For instance, they only have 2 brands of peanut butter (Jiff and Aladino), and neither is all natural. However, they do have Barneys natural almond butter for example.
