Shoe Market

I have to say, when I went into Shoe Market the other day, I wasn’t expecting much. Just looking for a solid knock around shoe that I could grab quickly and get the heck outta there. While I was looking, a salesman approached and asked if he could help. I told him my size and what I was looking for. He asked to see my feet (which are a train wreck) and he told me right away I was wearing the wrong size. Grabbed me a different size than I’d ever worn. It was a different width and length. My feet are in a pretty constant state of pain with any shoes on. The ones this gentleman had me try were unreal. I took a few steps and knew right away that he was right. The size felt perfect. But what I am giving 5 stars for was the whole thing. The whole enchilada. The dude was super nice, and wanted to make sure I got the right thing. He was attentive, knowledgeable, good energy, and he changed my feet’s lives. And it was a breeze. I doubt it took any longer than if I putzed around trying to find something on my own. Boots are nice however it is hard to get past the two older blonde ladies who work at the hingham location. My God are they rude and stuffy

Excellent service by Barbara and the Shoe Market team! Last week, I had rushed to purchase shoes for a new job that were inevitably too big. When I went back to Shoe Market for a return, I fully expected, arguably so, pushback as you would in many other stores (being that I had no box, the shoes were worn, no receipt). Barbara helped me walk through many (many!) options and over the course of an hour we found the perfect shoe and she supported an effortless (on my behalf) exchange. Knowledgeable, friendly, and customer centric store. Thank you, Barbara!

What a great experience! Shopping for shoes for my mother, I wanted stability and easy-on and off. I was asked by more than one staff member if I needed help; the woman who assisted made great recommendations, offered to find the right color and in the most friendly way, assured me that if they weren't right, I could return them. She shipped them to my mom (for a fee), they arrived in a few days and are perfect! Thank you!
