I generally get my Shell gas there, using GasBuddy app. Over and over, the card readers don’t work and you can’t get a paper receipt at the pump. Once, the card reader froze up on me and I was concerned it left the pump open for others to use, on my dime. When I went to inquire about it, I was met with an argument, as thought I was accusing them of scamming people. I wasn’t. I was just trying to make sure the transaction was completed and closed out. I just got disgusted with her and left. Nothing bad happened, at least.
Sale prices are never honored. The cashier will tell you that there's $.88 sales tax on a $5.00 purchase when you tell them your item rang up for $5.38 before tax instead of $5.00, straight face claiming sales tax is a whopping 17.6%. When sales tax in Decatur is actually 9.25%. And make sure you wear a face mask or I guarantee you won't get both feet inside this gas station. They don't play games with your health, only your pocket change. Sometimes they randomly shut down all of the credit card terminals at the fuel pumps and force everyone to come inside and hopefully you know how much fuel you need and you're wearing your face mask. And when this happens, if you decide to purchase an item from inside the convenience store, fuel is rang up separately and you can't even take advantage of your rewards for being a loyal Shell customer but then again why would they care about you saving $.05 per gallon when they don't even honor their own posted prices inside the store? Nickle and dime you every time you shop there and anything you say is brushed off as a mythical tax that you've strangely never encountered before. And if you get a receipt, don't bother asking for your $.42 back, because well they had no intention on listening to what you said before they overcharged you and they have no intention on listening to you complain that they certainly didn't listen or even attempt to correct the mistake afterwards. They are however, very focused on who walks in the door next to see if they are wearing their face mask and I thank them for that, which is why I decided to give the local Shell Station here in Decatur two full stars.
The nosel didn’t stop filling up and overflowed my gas tank. I told the cashier about it so they could notify people about it. The cashier didn’t even seem to care. There was no towels and the squeegee was dry so I couldn’t clean the gas off my car. Highly recommend not going to this shell station

Many pumps are broken, the remaining don't take credit cards. Be wary of the panhandlers.
