The man working the register, dark haired, early middle aged, attractive, was too busy making his hotel reservations for his vacation to answer my question about a brand of cigarettes. He was not only dismissive (I simply asked if anyone had given feedback), but he was downright rude. He may have been the manager, although I have no idea why. I worked in luxury management, but started in fast food 40 years ago. I always had the same work ethic no matter how little or how much I was paid.
Customer service is becoming a dying art, unfortunately. BTW, I didn’t get his name but he was the only one working mid afternoon on Thursday. Does whatever he wants because there’s no supervision!
$6+/gallon for gas is always hard to accept. But this place is a good place to stop and get a fill-up, both for you and your car. Don't forget to use any rewards points for discounts. We were able to get 25¢ off per gallon by using my Ralph's Awards and for using the Shell credit card.
I'm very glad I'm not driving the vehicle who filled up at the pump I stopped at - - $150.00 for a fill-up! This too shall pass...
Good prices at this Shell along Hwy 111 in Rancho Mirage. Convient access to Hwy. Extremely small but efficient market inside. Counter help also available inside. Pleasant place to fill up.

Gas prices here are high. I use my Kroger (Ralph's) points which brings the per gallon price down to almost bearable.

I don't trust paying at the pump. No one has confirmed secure card slides
